I read this on a lark, really. I'm not exactly in the target audience for this, since I'm a professional programmer and I've used AI a good bit. But I am an old person, so the AARP aspect does line up. I was hoping that a book like this might give me some tips on general AI usage that I haven't previously stumbled across. I mostly use AI to help with programming, and don't use it for general life stuff.

This is a pretty good overview of AI for folks who don't know that much about it. I think it would be understandable for a general audience.

I don't agree with everything in this book, but I think it does a good job of presenting a balanced perspective. Personally, I have more reservations about AI usage than the author seems to have. And I would nitpick some of the specifics in this book. But it's good enough that I wouldn't lump it in with some of the AI hucksterism that's out there.

Extremely helpful, easy to read guide about using AI, Artificial Intelligence! I'm already using Google Gemini for book discussions, and plan to try many other things as well. Best guide for beginners and those of us in the older generation!

This book is an excellent beginners guide to AI. I rated it 2 stars because the exhibits in the book are very hard to read due to the faint printing and the very small font size. Unless you want to read this book with a magnifying glass I would not recommend it.
