My brother’s best friend was my worst bully…now I’m his fake fiancée and pregnant with his baby… I still bear the scars of what he did to me and my plus-size curves, but I have to work for his team. He’s a single dad grump now, and needs me as his fake girlfriend to brush up his bad boy image. He tricks me into agreeing...he just didn’t tell me he’d knock me up as a bonus…
I’ve always had a crush on him, but he made me feel ashamed of my full curves and ridiculed me. He’s the star hockey player now, and single dad to an adorable little girl. I don’t want to be his team’s new physiotherapist, but somehow I end up being just that. I don’t want to be his pretend girlfriend, but somehow he talks me into being just that.
During working hours, I have to massage his muscles. Afterwards, we have to go on public dates. I know that every little stroke and every little kiss is fake, but my curves get addicted anyway. If I let him take my virginity, will he make fun of my body, like he used to? If I let him knock me up, will he drop me like a bullet?
Or will he be the hockey daddy of my dreams?
The Chicago Hockey Blizzards are arrogant, cocky, and used to getting what they want. You may think that you can escape them, but once their aim is on you, consider yourself pucked for good.
The past few days have been rough for me, and I desperately needed a distraction! This pregnancy, sports romance was perfect! I laughed out loud a few times (iykyk - I'm a tough crowd). Bridget and Axel's relationship goes back to high school when he bullied her for being overweight and nerdy. Due to his friendship with her brother and Romance Reasons, they end up fake-engaged, and from there it's quite a ride with learning to trust each other and dealing with meddling sports media in their relationship.
I’m not sure if this was AI written or the person who wrote it has never had a conversation with someone else but they definitely have no experience with people or relationships. I could go on and on about how horrible the writing was but suffice it to say please just don’t read this book🤮🤮🤮🤮
It's pretty obvious that the author knows very little about hockey and isn't from the US. Normally I would give that a pass, but calling it a hockey "club" etc... a little research would have made this better.
