1000+ Pages of epic LitRPG Action await in the complete Mythica Series by Dean Henegar.
A warrior reborn. An enemy fueled by death. A fight for humanity. Mercenary captain Sabine Giroux knew that death was a constant companion in her line of work, and when it finally happened, she wasn’t surprised.
What surprised her was that she didn’t stay dead.
Brought back as an undead revenant by the god Gnessos, Sabine is tasked with stopping a foe that seeks to siphon the power of death and destroy everything she holds dear in the process.
With a lifetime of combat experience to draw upon, Sabine must gain Gnessos’ favor to grow more powerful and fulfill her role as his champion. But with every rank of favor that Sabine gains, more of her humanity is lost as her undead nature threatens to take over…
From the bestselling author of Limitless Lands and Derelict comes this action-packed Fantasy LitRPG Adventure Series!
Sabine was a tremendous downgrade from the Abraxus beserker guy. It is hard to believe that she was the best deceased person the god could find in twenty years.. Unfortunately, she is a bit slow and after the first fight against two untrained, hardly armed robbers she felt like a DEI hire..
While she slightly improved later, her heavy flaws remained. She was constantly inattentive and unfocused. Her odd and impractical weapon choice (luckily physics seem not to exist in this world, otherwise the the centrifugal force would whirl her around). Unfortunately, plot errors (Abraxus encounter with his father, Sabine's encounters with the captain and the ogre in the dream world), underwhelming upgrade choices, plus absent humour and banter didn't help either.
One third into the series i lost interest. I don't really care about the nebulous plot, the three characters and, as word building is almost non existent, nothing that intrigues me.
She died doing want she loved, and was brought back to complete a task. I loved that even though she was undead she was able to keep part of her humanity. I also loved how much she cared for her family and her men.
