Zane Hodges is quickly becoming one of my favorite theologians and authors. In this book, he writes in a very easy going style, revealing the bible in a storytelling format. His first exposition of the woman at the well in the first chapter was really well done and I think if I ever have to preach on that passage I'll just read that chapter. The book is really about, in a very simple manner, distinguishing between justification and sanctification. The thirsty live, the hungry inherit is a way of holding the free grace perspective and showing how works as a Christian benefit the believer without including those works as essential for salvation.
