This omnibus edition collects the first three books of the Tales of Ardor series.
The dark fantasy erotica series follows the story of Warren Dietrich, a warrior elf from the nation of Stamen. The stories are set in a world where elves are the dominant race and magic is commonplace. Stamen is one of several elven nations in the world and is known for its strong military tradition. Warren is a member of the Dietrich noble family, a line known for producing skilled warriors. In the first story, Warren is captured by a powerful she-elf named Madam Nightingale and subjected to torture and sexual humiliation. The story is set 5 years before the events of the book after.
The next book has Warren being tasked with leading an expedition to the Sphere of Teneb, a mysterious and dangerous region of the world that is said to be cursed. As he prepares for the journey, he receives a "gift" from the Guild of Sciences in the form of a goblin slave named Yesugeintii. Then, Warren is visited by Niède Crow, an archaeologist from the elven nation of Anther, who is seeking to join his expedition to the Sphere of Teneb. Niède is obsessed with the idea of finding evidence of the First Elfin, the original ancestors of the elves, and believes that the Sphere of Teneb may hold the key to their existence.
The stories in this omnibus edition are full of erotic content, including BDSM, foot fetishism, and oral sex. They also contain graphic violence and disturbing imagery. So trigger warning.

I picked this one up because the cover looked amazing, and the blurb sounded fantastic.
Unfortunately it was a huge let down. The stories felt out of order, and they didn't feel connected. The stories followed the same character, Warren, the elf with a really strong foot fetish. I still don't understand half of what was going on, because a lot of it didn't make sense.
If you like your smut extra dark, with little plot, and a heavy dose of feet, this might be the book for you.

A fantasy story without the fantasy and filled completely with smut is not my cup of tea. Yes, I *love* a good 'smut only' type of read. I absolutely do! But it's when a story is hinted at, teased, and dangled in front of my face to the point I'm grabbing for it and coming up empty that I get to a point of dislike.
For me, this bordered on me not enjoying the reading because while there is plenty of smut to keep a reader happy, the plot that got dangled needs to be embellished further. Just one reader's opinion. It's not horrible, not by any means. I just wish it had more.

He will be faced with so much temptation when he ends up facing his failure. He has been so much to so many so he will find it all so hard. If he does not fight against temptation, he will be pulled into the darkest. A brilliant read about showing how to beat the demons in the darkest

Absolutely recommend. Awesome story with likeable characters. Lots of caring and compassion between main characters. just the right amount of drama and suspense. Highly recommend.

A LOT of smut! Spicy 🥵. This was different than what I normally read, though I did enjoy it. I just wish for a little more of a plot.
