Sandy Situation

This is an über quick read and a delicious palate cleanser. Grace's crush on Daniel is almost comical, but I love her assertiveness. She's got a bit of false bravado that works in her favor.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Scarlet Love. She may narrate a little faster than most, which is easily resolved by adjusting the listening speed. Even still, I enjoyed listening to her.

Summer Bridesmaid is Book 9 of the Romantic Age Gap Quickies series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, slightly kinky, virgin gets her brother's best friend erotic short. Grace is a 20 year old college student at her brother, Kyle's wedding. Daniel is the 30 year old hunky best man and Kyle's best friend. She has been crushing on him since she was 18, so when he asks her to dance, she happily accepts. When they later meet on the beach, things get hot and S-T-E-A-M-Y, but can they be together? What will her brother say? This really was quite romantic with a little bit of a breeding kink thrown in. Their chemistry was hot, and the ending was very happy. I loved it.

This book is about Grace and Daniel. Daniel is Graces brother's best friend. He is older by 10 years. They are at the brother’s destination wedding and they can’t keep their attraction to themselves any longer. It is a very short, quick read with some hot and steamy scenes. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book.

This was my first story by Rose, and wow, when she promises a "quickie," she really delivers! Clocking in at just over 30 pages, it's amazing how much Rose manages to squeeze into this short, sizzling tale. In a handful of scenes, she gives us a surprisingly good feel for both of the main characters, Grace and Daniel, who, for the most part, hold the spotlight in this tale. The story unfolds as they reconnect at her brother's wedding, but the backdrop quickly fades when the real focus settles on Grace's long-held crush on her brother's best friend. Every glance makes Grace blush and leaves her tongue-tied and flustered. As the heat rises, Grace thinks a cool breeze will clear her head, but things turn hotter than Hades as Daniel follows her into the darkness of the secluded beach. Their chemistry, and raw attraction blend together, and suddenly, the night is anything but calm. If you’re craving a quick, passionate read that pulls you in from the first page, this one’s a winner.

This book is part of a series, but each is written as a standalone, so start at any time.

This is an short erotic story involving an age gap theme as well as a bit of the taboo. The story is well written and easy to read with a fun cast of characters. The plot moves quickly to setup the situation and then moves straight to the steamy fun. And it was definitely both steamy and fun. Overall, a very enjoyable story and I look forward to more from this author.

Highly recommended.

The title says it all, right? At 28 pages, this was a fast, lighthearted read I couldn’t resist out of pure curiosity. It’s a 'first' for me too—first time reading this trope! It’s cute and playful, with a ten-year age gap between the main characters, and yes, she’s a college student and a virgin.

Honestly, this probably would’ve hit differently in my early twenties, but it was still a fun escape. The writing style is cute and captures the surroundings well—though I wouldn’t have minded if it had been a bit longer.

Narration review: Scarlet Love’s voice is very breathy and I don’t think she would be very good narrating anything but erotica. That being said, her voice was appropriate for this book (because erotica) and it worked well for the story.
