An anthology of six flash fiction stories. Seth and Addie is about meeting a stranger while walking along the train tracks. The encounter turns a bad day around for Addie. The Ruin is set in the future and is about a woman whose greed leaves her alone fighting machines. Love Lost, Love Found is about finding love in a tragedy. Samuel thinks back to how he met and fell in love with his wife. The Car is about a mysterious car that shows up in front of Kyle's house. Kyle does not rest until he solves the mystery of why the car is there. UFO is about a deep sea dive to look at a mysterious object on the ocean floor. The Sister-in-Law is about the chance meeting of sister-in-laws while out for lunch. It is written from both of their perspectives.

About the author

Laurie Jackson is currently enrolled in the BFA for Creative Writing for Entertainment program at Full Sail University. She is currently working on her youngest sister’s story about her battle with and loss to eye cancer. Laurie is a mother and a grandmother with a passion for writing for children. She holds a diploma for Writing for Children and Teenagers from The Institute of Children’s Literature. Laurie is a down to earth country girl and this is reflected in her writing.

Projects that Laurie is working on are a serial chapter book for middle grade, and a picture book for toddlers to preschool. She also has a comic book aimed for 15 and up, in the works.
