This was a battle that was totally epic!!! I love those good vs. evil battles, one of my favorite scenes in the "Chronicles of Narnia" is the battle, where the good faced off against evil. I had no idea that "Adam's" story would bring me such a battle because I wished I was right there fighting on the front lines.
Adam had told his parents that he would not go through the normal growth as other human children do. He has chosen that on his first birthday he will emerge as a 30 year old man and not only that he already has his spirit mate LOLL!!! But the angst and the unknown is too much for his mother and father (Seraphiel aka Brock to endure) which causes a falling out between the two that Adam steps in to help rectify it.
As everyone is anxious and ready to see Adam, there is a celebration of him coming of age. Dee who if you remember was once involved with Ramiel and tried to organize an attack with Ramiel's other ex-girlfriends against the women. But Dee was influenced by a demon and during her fight with Symphony, she is killed and tossed into hell but Brock goes to see her and she is given another chance. Her spirit mate is Aden and she is extremely happy and also she is a fantastic cook because she prepared the huge spread of food for the celebration with the help of the other ladies (I like Dee she has become a part of my favorite women).
Adam in his eagerness to be alone with Mordiree puts them right in the eye of the storm against the enemy. A huge battle ensues where we get to see Seraphiel in all of his magnificent and scary glory but sets off a chain reaction, the Archangels Michael, Raphael and Gabriel leap over Heaven's balcony to join in the battle. The fight is not only in the air but on the ground as well, it is a battle that is so intense that every Ultimate Watcher and watcher from all over the world is involved. A real movie worthy scene for sure, I would love to see this whole series on the big screen.
But after the battle comes serious fallout, things that I didn't see coming and old wounds being brought up. There is a new comer on the scene which I was so excited to read about. This story is about missteps, mistakes, bringing it all out in the open, forgiveness, reconciliation and understanding what it means to be leaders. Another remarkable story in this series and it just keeps getting better and better, once you start reading this series I am telling the truth you will not be able to put it down. I know from reading this series, it has opened my eyes wider about forgiveness and unconditional love.

I loved this book. More story line with the promise of a new generation of Angels. The author always has something new and exciting to add to each of her books. There are always laughs, tears, and fears it hits all the emotions and never gets stale. I look forward to her next book. Her books are easy to read and comprehend. The characters seem real and have the reader wishing they were real and could be apart of this family. The descriptions are so vivid you can actually see the families, their homes, their travels and demon fights. It is truly amazing writing.

Lots of exciting things take place in Adam - Beginnings and Revelations:
Adam grows up, meets his spirit mate, joins Doc’s team, Lucifer wages war against the Watchers and they prepare for the next generation. Adam and Nate kept me in stitches throughout the book. This series is amazing.

This book 14 in the series Adam and Mordiree story.
Well we already know that Adam is an Ultimate Watcher and he knew who his Mate was whilst he was a baby. Baby Adam is barely out of his diaper before he triggers major warfare and puts his Mate in danger due to his actions. Although Adam goes from 1 to 30 in a year, he has a lot to learn and he is gonna get schooled in life!!! Plus he has jokes him and Kibeel.
Mr Kibeel "I don't know nothing about nothing" has turned into a real big mouth. He always has something to say about something these days.
I am still feeling sorry for the Walker Brothers those Watcher Son-in-Laws can be so unforgiving!!!
More Watchers find their mates and more babies are born. There are many, many laugh out loud moments in each book and I am still totally hooked.
Book 15 is calling my name ladies!!

Excellent novel! Adam is an Ultimate Watcher through birth, one day he's 1 then the next he's 30! With age comes knowledge, right, WRONG! Adam has a lot to learn to even come close to being on the level of his dad "Seraphiel" but time and life's experiences will teach him what he needs to know. This novel was wonderful got to see Seraphiel in rare form as well as the other Ultimate watchers along with The Walker Brothers and Lara, a gun toting sister! The cousins all kicked in when it counted to help and in the end once again good won out over evil. Excellent novel EJ, LOVED it, now on to book#15! Keep up the great work!!!!!

GREAT BOOK! This series is just great! Adam, literally, comes to manhood. Ms. Eva Brock really knows how to suck you into a story. It's like watching your favorite t.v. show, you can't wait a week to see what happens next! Don't let the "romance series" fool you. It's more then that! Well onto "The Promise and Forbidden Loves"!

Family can really take you there can't they?! They can hurt you like no other but you still love them. Adam has a lot to learn and his story is compelling. Amazing.
