Why are elearning books so dreadful? If I could give zero stars or negative stars to this title, I would. Shocking. The naivity, the lack of understanding of andragogy, pedagogy or literacy is stunning.

No wonder online learning is such a mess if this is an example of the 'how to' guides read by teachers.

Drown yourself before you read this.

I have to admire the effort that any author puts into writing a book. For that, I tip my hat to Mr. Francois. My primary struggle with this book is that I don't think anyone proof-read it before it was published. Just about every page has some sort of grammatical or punctuation error. At times it feels like the book was written in a foreign language, dropped into Google Translate, and then just copy and pasted into what was published.

As a training professional, I am always looking for new insights into how I can improve my e-learning courses and curriculum. Unfortunately, this book is written from the perspective of someone who wants to start a rival to Coursera. Rather than providing how-to information, it presents in very broad terms.

I hate to say it, but I would probably avoid this book.

I got this book in exchange for a honest review and I must say, it is worth the time and read. Lots of useful stuff in the book about the e-learning platforms and the great add-on would be to write something that reflects a wider perspective and scope towards earning few more bucks using the internet world and technology.Detailing the courses online and the source is a rich addition to the book. Thoroughly recommended read and worth buying.
