There’s a right and a wrong way to love and to be loved, but what happens when that love has no limits? How far is too far?
Is it Acacia’s jealousy that causes her to dangerously love? Willing to lose her sanity before losing her man?
Is it Minnie’s blind devotion to her husband that renders her unable to see the duplicitous life he leads that threatens to shatter their marriage?
Is it Elias’ narcissism that makes him incapable of loving anyone but himself? But having met his egotistical match, will her indifference make him love her as insanely as he loved himself?
Or is it Samiyah’s immeasurable urge to quench the loneliness in her relationship with outside indulgences? Torn between two, who will she choose? Him or her?
Faced with unforgiving realities, these close friends prove in heartbreaking clarity what happens when Love Knows No Boundaries.

This was a good read. It started out slow for me but it definitely picked up quick. I was left with so many unanswered questions, guess I'm going to have to read part 2 asap. G'Corey was a horrible guy but a great husband (if that's even possible). I was patiently waiting for him to get caught up in his web of lies. Samiyah was just so confused and that Eli was a hot mess. Tracie was just a damn nutcase lol. I'm anxious to see what happened so part 2 it is...

Amazing

This book had everything going on. It's a definite page turner. The relationship between the true friend are fantastic. Eli and Yah are hilarious when they get together. Definitely two of a kind.

Samiyah has been in a relationship with Gerran for years. Despite her willingness to accept him right where he is, no matter what, his ambition drives a wedge between them that leads her into the arms of another man. Although his intentions are pure, it doesn’t soften the blow to her womanhood or extinguish the desires she has for attention, comfort and genuine affection. But the love she has for him is real…and unfortunately, so is the love she has for the man who has replaced him, putting them in a bitter lover’s triangle.

Acacia is a bombshell who also happens to be emotionally wounded. Her unresolved past experiences causes her to act out violently and irrationally against any perceived threat to her longtime love, Sleepy. Sleepy is a good guy who loves her unconditionally, despite how her behaviors affect his life. But how much can one man take before closing the door forever and ridding his life of the drama?

Minnie is the sweet, plus-sized church girl who struggles with self-esteem and self-acceptance. Despite protests from her closest friends, she marries G’Corey, the guy she sees as the man of her dreams, but who everyone else just sees as a good for nothing thug. G’Corey is nothing like Minnie thinks he is, but she loves him unconditionally. He needs her love and acceptance more than his next breath, so he vows to clean his life up from the lies, manipulation, deceit and infidelity to be the man he knows she deserves. Unfortunately, the mistakes of his past may very well catch up with him before the change can take place, putting in jeopardy everything he has that is pure, real and beautiful.

As these friends work through a sea of issues, one thing becomes blaringly clear: there are no black and white, clear cut answers to the problems each one faces. Nor are there easy solutions when it comes to dealing with matters of the heart.

Coffee has written an engaging tale of friendship, love, loss, betrayal, deception, and forgiveness that takes readers on an emotional ride. As mentioned earlier, there are no clear cut answers in any of their situations, so this reader found it difficult to decide on the best outcome for the story. The cliffhanger ending has me eagerly wanting to know what comes next. The story is well-written; the characters true to life; the storyline extremely relatable. Great debut.

Every character in this book was doing the most. Minnie seemed as if she just wanted to be in a relationship. She was willing to believe anything coming from her husband even when she felt things weren't right. Ooohhh Kawanna! Her crazy love struck ass was wrong and didn't seem to care. Traci sure did seem to have stalker tendencies. She's going to end up getting seriously hurt. Really G'Corey?! It shouldn't have taken him as long as it did to finally realize he loved his wife and wanted to do right. Acacia is crazy!!! Sleepy should've been left her bipolar ass! Samiyah isn't too much better. She doesn't know if she wants the one that's working too much or the one that is always there but needs to get it together before anything gets worse. In the beginning I was thinking something was wrong with Elias since him and Samiyah were always together. I'm ready for part 2 to see how Minnie reacts to the truth being revealed, will Sleepy forgive Acacia for the unthinkable, will Samiyah lose one or both of the men fighting for a place in her heart, has Elias found his match and what will be do for the stunt Tasha pulled, and will G'Corey lose his wife before the marriage has a chance to really get started.

You definitely put on fa our city! Aside from this being an outstanding read, it was the first of many New Orleans based BOOKS that I've read that actually captured our true dialect, our culture and that die hard LOVE for the place we call home!
This is one soap opera you would hate to miss out on! The heartache s of love, having to choose between your so called life partner or the one who truly makes you happy! After realizing everything you need you already have at home but the streets just won't let go! Being a womanizer for so long and finally meeting your match, to being so insecure from past experiences that you are missing up on the best thing that has ever happened for you. And you know there is always a us that one thirsty heiffer that pretends to be your friend but are really hanging around for ya man. Yep, this book has it all. It has literally kept me on edge and I am so anticipating the sequel!
