cringe fest

I dislike a FMC who just doesn’t follow her intuition. I had to fight to finish this one. Scenes were hot, but the plot was boo boo.

Madeline is his lead architect for his mansion renovation , he was left bereft by his wife who left him in a mess with stress from his SAS days and his following days with his daughter were a heady daze. It was out of respect for his mate that he did negate at all , it was a stiff task to ask but he left her be. While he wallowed in his pent up misery. That was until she went running into his big strong arms . There she was in up in arms , sparking instant desire mixed up with his fire of protection and charms , but there really was no going back from THIS erection that disarms.He offers her shelter and it’s an HelterSkelter ride that has him twisted inside . He was spent on her scent much as her heat when he insert his meat. Now she’s expecting and no matter how much he’s hated. He’s selecting to keep her. This was fated and he’ll make this work for his daughter and Madeline , living in sin with his baby to be because he is not going back to enforced misery. Phew hot papa ! Madeline Carter ain’t doing what she oughta . She’s have a sublime time with her dad’s Seal best friend …, naughty daughter ... Well it isn’t exactly a crime and she he is having a real good time. Two decades in between them but he ain’t sinning . And despite them both suffering each of their ails. Their love is hard as nails ,stable and secure. Their desire heavenly and family is everything and pure , now….but at the start of their journey she was so demure and he can understand why. This is why he now yearns to give their love a try. Great age-gap romance

A lovely, well written story, with a slow build steamy romance, great chemistry between the characters, ex-SEAL with PTSD, support, secrets, a fabulously sweet seven-year-old girl and a great HEA.

When Madeline goes to Miami it's to manage the revamp of a billionaire's home, for him and his daughter. What makes it awkward is that she knows him as her father's best friend, and when she was younger she'd had a crush on him. Seeing him again reignites those feelings and she soon realises that he might feel the same.

Hudson has known Madeline for years. When he sees her again he realises she's grown up and changed, and when she meets his daughter he loves how well they get on. Her dad has asked him to help protecting her from an ex who won't leave her alone, and he's happy to help but worries that he is hiding his own feelings for her.

As Madeline spends more time at his home planning the renovations, she grows closer to Hudson and his daughter, who is delighted when she moves in to a guest room. But things become difficult when her dad joins them for a SEAL reunion that's being held at one of Hudson's hotels. He feels a loyalty to her dad which he doesn't want to spoil and she doesn't want to come between their friendship.

They are becoming a happy family of three but after things heat up between them they have more secrets to hide. With her ex causing trouble, a stalker causing more stress and Madeline starting a new project in the city can they find a way to keep their happiness?

OMG 😱 this was another great story. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Madeline and Hudson romance was forbidden. He is her father best friend and he was intrigued with her beauty. They couldn’t fight the temptation any longer as they gave into passion One night with him will change her life forever and with some surprise unexpected pregnancy. Was she falling in love with him in this moment. Would he get a change to build a life with her or will he lose his friendship.

This was a fast burn,age gap, and forbidden romance. This was a great read! Madeline had a crush on Hudson when she was younger and when she got older, she got the opportunity to see him again as the lead architect for his mansion. They knew their love was forbidden and had their moments of sadness with each other as they knew it wouldn’t be a good idea for them to be together. Hudson’s daughter also loved Madeline as well. As Madeline’s ex was trying to sabotage her, Hudson stepped in to protect her. When Madeline announced her pregnancy of Hudson’s baby, Hudson was over the moon as his dream was to have a complete family and with a baby on the way, he was overjoyed. The ending was a HEA. I would definitely reread again!

Madeline has always had kind of a crush on Hudson, and Hudson, who now sees Madeline all grown up, feels an immediate attraction to her. Both realize that their budding attraction may be inappropriate, but also impossible to deny. Two other problems the couple face is Hudson’s PTSD, which often causes him to become moody or withdrawn and Madeline’s ex-boyfriend, who has become something of a stalker. At the same time, the two are facing harassment in the form of vandalism and violent attacks from an unknown source. Will the couple be able to overcome all the forces that seem to be threatening them? A good, somewhat spicy read.

Madeline as an interior designer worked in J&W ,a design company,she was assigned to work in a solo project to design a client home in Miami.
When Hudson was going into conference room with his assistant he didn’t knew the surprise that was waiting for him his employees gave him a present to redesign his home,but that’s not all ,the woman that is going to design his home was no one else than his best friends daughter.
Hudson was an ex navy seal he met Harry years before and they became brothers every year they meet for reunions and it’s not far the date.

This is the story of Madeline and Hudson. Hudson is her father's best friend and she goes to work for him to help him decorate his house, and since she is an interior designer that comes in handy. It doesn't take long before they have feelings for each other and even though it can't happen because of the age difference and the fact that he has PTSD, they don't give up. I liked how the author dealt with the PTSD part. A great storyline with plenty of steamy and hot scenes between them.

Good storyline that grows as each character is added. Nice when a strong man shares his feelings and vulnerability without diminishing who he is. A woman who strives to become her own strong self as her world seems to crumble around her.

I really enjoyed this age-gap, exSEAL romance read. The chemistry between Hunky older Hudson, & Interior designer Madison ( who also happens to be his best friends daughter) is so palpable from the get-go. The PTSD and crippling attacks had by Hudson were explained so wonderfully in this story, and handled beautifully by Madison. The unexpected stalker, & the twists and turns really made this book a wonderful gripping read. The spice level was out of this world. 🔥🔥 Another brilliant story with a lovely HEA, Thank you Valencia for writing it!.

Hudson had known Madeline all her life as he was best friends with her father and both men were known to have PTSD.
Madeline was now all grown up and working in Hudson House where he lives with his young daughter.
Her ex was causing a problem for her as he refuses to let her go and although he cheated on her frequently he didn't think this was a problem.
Things really get interesting as Hudson and Madeline get together even though he is old enough for her to be his daughter.
Great story with danger throughout for both of them and trying to keep their relationship away from her father.

It is an age gap, off limits romance between Hudson and his best friend's daughter, Madeline. These likeable characters and the unique plot make for an enjoyable read. Their sizzling chemistry and strong connection are undeniable as they navigate the bumpy road to their forever after. It is a love story with enough drama, steam, sweetness, frustrating moments, family dynamic, twists and turns, and engaging secondary characters to keep the reader interested. Entertaining.

I had a hard time getting into this one but it was nothing really against the book or the author, more my own personal preference. I'm not a huge fan of steamy stuff happening so quick in a book. To me it felt rushed and I didn't really get any real chemistry between the mains before that all happened. But other then that the story line was good but I just didn't feel connected to the characters. This is probably great for someone, just jot my thing.

I really enjoyed this story. While Hudson didn’t seem to have the instinct so many writers give to a SEAL, he seemed very human. I really liked how the author handled his PTSD. Both he and Madeline went through so much on their road together. Dad’s best friend and major age gap, PTSD, stalker, broken hearts learning to trust. But, the heat was HIGH in this one. What started as insta lust turned into surprise baby and HEA, with a few punches thrown in and several intense moments.

This book is off the charts HOT and a MUST HAVE in your kindle for those days you are needing to read a really engaging and romantic book. Hudson is an ex-seal that has to deal with life's heartaches until Madeline shows up and even though she is 110% off limits he can't seem resist her beauty and the HOT sex they end up having. The sex scenes are 10/10 as well as this entire romance book that I devoured like a nice big piece of chocolate cake. This is one HOT ex-navy seal on the cover.

The book has a lot of potential to be stretched to have more pages. I like how mature madeline is to her age. and hudson too. I wish we couldve explore more of their experiences with traumas but thats just me. I wish she couldve atleast called Hudson "daddy" since he calls her little girl. Overall it's HEA, one angst plot. single dad trope. I like it, its a short read yet entertaining for me.
