I met a grandson of this person. The grandson told me some very interesting stories about his grandfather and family. I searched and found a copy of the biography of his grandfather and read it. It is very interesting reading. This man was in China before the Japanese invasion, dealt with bandits and various war lords. He successfully dealt with the Japanese after the invasion until he could get out of the country. He was not afraid of standing up to them because he felt he had the protection of God and his faith. It worked.
