Bad Adult

Rate this book
If you are one of the thousands who devoured the books in the Sorry I’m Not Sorry series, the phenomenon featured in USA Today, Mashable, and many more, grab a drink and get ready, because its biggest and most outrageous entry to date is here…
And it is one hot mess.

Twenty-three-year-old Alexa Black is a bad adult. Lazy, selfish, immature and entitled, she can’t pay a bill on time to save her life, she hasn’t washed a dish or done her own laundry in years, and she spends her ample free time ingesting copious amounts of alcohol and then making spectacularly bad decisions. But when Alexa’s hijinks reach a shocking new low and she finally crosses the one line her parents refuse to overlook, she is forced to attempt the one thing the world thought she would never grow up.

As an entire generation refuses to mature, hovering on the brink between kid and adult, stumble along as the poster child of these “kidults” finally enters the next step of her life the only way she knows as an unapologetic disaster. Because as you will learn in Bad Adult, no matter how loudly the real world is pounding on your door, there’s always a little time to have way too much fun…and in the end, maybe the only “bad adults” are the ones who lose touch with the children inside of them.

So, if you are wrestling with the same question hanging over the heads of millions of millennials – am I too old to be acting this young? – rest Alexa Black is about to make you feel a lot better about your life.

Bummer.. I think I'm out growing the Sorry not Sorry series =/

I've always been such a fan of these books even though they aren't that popular.. Alexa Black has always been one of the funniest main characters in the history of books. I loved reading about her hot mess of a life and her incredibly witty come backs, lines, comparisons and shit talking. Unfortunately though, in this 7th book about Alexa Black, I think I'm growing up faster than she is.

Her lines aren't all that funny anymore they're just obnoxious and somewhat annoying. I'm glad we got to see a little into her "adult" life but it's obviously a fail and I just don't think it's enjoyable anymore..

Anyways, if you're still reading this.. I'd definitely check out Sorry I'm Not Sorry by @SororityProblem Sucks to Suck by @SororityProblem and Sorry I'm Not Sorry 3 Shitshow (Part I) by @SororityProblem . THEN STOP :)

Sorely disappointed after checking the Kindle book store repeatedly for book 7. I know this isn't supposed to be literary genius but this was bad.
