I enjoyed some of the mystery and the unique killing method of one of the kills but the writing style and how the characters talk really took me out of the story a lot.

Also Ricci character being so jealous and pushy killed any likeable parts she may have had.

I tried another new author and sadly this will be a one and done.

I completely support self-publishing by authors but editing is an absolute necessity. This book was filled with so many grammar and punctuation errors reading was sometimes impossible. Characters were shallow and poorly developed and the plot was trite and predictable. I see he has authored multiple books and I feel no desire to read any of them. Add an avid reader I rarely don’t finish a book and I did eventually finish this one but I won’t read another one.
