This is one of those books where if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. But what I will say is the female narrator on the audiobook was the absolute worst. I'm not sure how she even passed auditions
While listening I often wondered why the characters started speaking without using contractions, when they had previously done so in the first two books.
It was distracting and took away from my overall enjoyment of the story.
Very interesting series definitely had me thinking and wondering what happened next after the cliff hangers. The audiobook narrators did a great job in all three books. Will probably swing around in 2026 to listen to it again.
Okay I hate to say this butt this book is chaotic and not in a good way 😕. The overall storyline is interesting but it needs some major editing. The dialogue is choppy and hard to follow. The scenes jump around so it often felt like sections were missing. The tense would change mid sentence. I dont recall the first two books having this issue so I was really surprised. Since I read the first two I felt compelled to finish this one even though it was a struggle. I kept having to reread parts to try to make sense of the scenes. I did enjoy Dom and Mari’s banter. Since the overall storyline is good I would say go ahead and read it (especially if you have already read the rest of the series), but have patience.
After finishing all books, I can honestly say that this ending I didn’t see coming because Amari was heck bent on punishing Dom for a baby that was made way before they entered into their arranged marriage. That heffa got on my last nerves with that and always needing space🙄 I mean at one point I was rooting for Dom to find him somebody else and to move on from Amari because she was just that ignorant and pressed about a child that was conceived before her and Dom got together. Dom’s ultimate payback was when the baby came back not to be his when the baby got sick.
Oh yeah, before I forget, I see Britt was still giving my guy Channing the blues lol 😂 (good for her). Channing has got to pay the piper to Britt because he played in her face when she cared for him.
After reading all the books I love this conclusion. Everything was wrapped up in a pretty little bow and we even got the storyline of exactly how Britney's parents ended up where they were. That would not be instead I do feel like there were some unanswered pieces as far as Monea was concerned... Get she was like a split in personality of Amari but I don't feel like we came completely full circle Get she was like a split in personality of Amari but I don't feel like we came completely full circle... Leave the only part I feel like I needed more of... Oh no I Like this story of Dominic and Amaris loves.
The wrap up was anticlimactic but still ok. Editing is a must. Some of the legal health treatments were off bet hot enough go detract from the overall story. If was hard for me go believe that has father sanctioned the killing of his own son. It was also hard for me to believe that someone in Amari's condition could have kids without repercussions. She needed serious help. Nevertheless all if the villains were taken care of, I was hoping that Amari would get the chance to either smack Shana or at the very least talk crazy go her. She had a nerve do be talking grimey it was like she thought that she could move back and get that old thing back again.
What a finale! Amari had moments where I wanted to strangle her but at the same time I had to remember from her perspective how she would feel. To be honest, Dominick could’ve been more honest so in my opinion he did start this semi spiral. He also pissed me off by not using his brain thinking everything goes his way. I can’t wait for Channing & Britnee & baby Kisher! To know how this all really started is amazing to me. Loved the series!
I needed this wrap up however I feel like it was rushed and in some places there was some editing issues where all of a sudden the dialogue jumps to the other character in the scene without acknowledging it. I figured the epilogue would give more on Plum and her mental health and development in that area. I felt like there were things missing. Overall again I appreciated the wrap up and I really enjoyed the story! It was wild!
My girl did it again!! Madam Wise brought it full circle. I'm so glad that Amari & Domonick FINALLY got it together!! Amari was upsetting me at first cause she was blaming him for things that wasn't his fault. And then Dom was thinking things in his head but doing the complete opposite. I feel bad for Brittnee. But I think she'll get what she needs in her & Chan's book.
There was no playing around about keeping family safe!!!… Lana FAFO who not to play with because love did not live there no more!!!… Amari’s poor soul was torn, but I was o glad she rescued and her baby survived too!!!.. Domonick was not to be played with and he continued to let it be known!!!!… This was a very well written book and the drama continued!!!…
This finale was more than expected it also gave us a small view on what to expect in the up coming books. Dom was indeed a real one the way he cared and loved Plum as well as accepting and caring for her and her illness he was firm putting her first allowing her the independence she desired. Wesley and his crazy second daughter got exactly what they deserved.
This final book in the series was decent and delivered the closure I needed. While it didn’t have quite the same excitement as the last two books, it did a good job wrapping up the story and answering the lingering questions. Overall, a satisfying end to the series, tying up the loose ends from the previous books.

The pov’s switching mid paragraph is just confusing. Maybe it’s just unedited and needs some serious editing with a fine tooth comb. It has potential and I want to see Madam Wise win! I’m an avid reader and author myself so I understand. However, it was frustrating to read and try to get through the entire series.
That was an awesome series. Amari went through a whole lot of different emotions, but through it all Domonik stood by her craziness and that is love. I loved all the deception, craziness, action, backstabbing, all of it it kept the book going and that’s why Amari is my girl! lol
After reading all three books, I think this story had so much potential. I love the characters. There are so many plot holes and the timeline is not consistent. I like both main characters growth tho. In the future get ARC reader who pay attention to detail and can help with editing as well. I still might read the other books because I’m nosy
Dominic was my favorite character. I'm happy that Brittany Brittnee and Channing I'm getting a spinoff. I would really love to know more about Angel he's so mysterious I want his story
You have to read all three. Over all everything seemed little rushed and chaotic for me. I read all three. I loved the intent. The story was good. It just jumped around a lot. The transitions from scene to scene were choppy.
I really enjoyed this story. To go through the trials and tribulations of mental health and life itself. Please give yourself a pat on the back. Keep doing what you do
This was a good read! There were a lot of typos and grammatical errors. It also missed a lot of information. It left the reader to draw their own conclusions. If this author had an editor, they’d catch all of this for her!
Finally all the snakes were taken care of and they rebuilt! I’m so glad Dom closed that door Shana like Angel said should have stayed a non factor! I love how they came together and worked through the storms and rebuilt even stronger bonds.
This was a good end of the series. I enjoyed reading the books and definitely recommend that others give this a read. Its action-packed and full of passion. The characters are interesting and there is never a boring moment. Definitely worth the read.
The story kine and the action that takes place i. this book makes it hard to put down. I have loved the way all the books in thus series connects to each other. I highly recommend this series ro anyone that wants an intriguing read. Great Job Madam Wise.
Overall it was a good read. All the main characters worked my nerves something fierce though. Like mafia is supposed to be ruthless so this plot could’ve wrapped up in 2 books.
Ok so, the whole secret to everything was underwhelming….all this because your baby mama who you treated poorly left you?? Also, how did he survive if Salvador had him?? Then the explanation of Blitz😒 I need details!
I love Domonick and Amari love enough the crazy parts of it. Their love shined strong through all of the storms. Now we need a book about his Angel finding love.
