Lance Powell, after the death of his parents, was left with his maternal grandmother, who he affectionately called “Lola”. Lola showered her only child’s only child with all the love she had. Young Lance was like a sponge. He applied every lesson to secure his future. He promised Lola at ten, that once he was older, she would never work again. After graduation he made that promise a reality, by becoming a self made billionaire.
Londyn Evans was a twenty-five year old bartender. She went from being ignored by her father to being controlled by her boyfriend, Quincy. After finally being forced to end their toxic relationship she begins to take a look at her life. Londyn decides it’s time to start living, beyond the pages of the books she reads. First order of business is to take a flight. She’s never been out of her neighborhood let alone the state.
A chance meeting between the two starts a love affair Londyn never imagined. But will it last when she learns, their meeting may not have been by chance and Lance hasn’t been completely honest.
“A damaged person should never start a relationship. I should have healed first.”
3.5 ⭐️ Thisssssssss, such a cute little story! Although Lance Powell, Mr. Billionaire, was a bit stalkerish at first… I loved how he pursued Londyn! This, to me, was considered an insta love situation, & when done right it’s gonna eat every time! This could have easily been a longer story FOR SURE! I enjoyed it 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾!
I enjoyed this story so much! Londyn is a good girl that has a life full of trash ass people. Lance is a man of intention and means and he is not playing about Londyn. There is even a little suspense. This is a good read.
I was not expecting this much emotional depth from such a short read but wow, it delivered. The pacing was tight, the plot was solid, and everything wrapped up so neatly that I flew through it in one sitting. I could almost feel what was coming next, but in a way that made me want to keep turning the page.
Lance started off on the wrong foot for me his stalkerish tendencies had me side-eyeing him like, sir, what are we doing? But I’ll admit, his heart was in the right place. Now Londyn (yes, with a Y!) absolutely stole the show. She’s been through it daddy issues, a partner who didn’t love or respect her and yet she still found the strength to move out, move on, and rebuild her confidence. Watching her find someone who truly saw and appreciated her? Chef’s kiss.
And the epilogue? Gave me everything I wanted. It wrapped the story up with warmth and satisfaction, leaving me smiling and feeling like these two were really going to make it.
This is a quick read, but it packs a punch. Highly recommend if you want a fast-paced romance with heart, heat, and a heroine who knows how to rise.
Great read… love Londyn and Lance together. Lance was everything she needed and didn’t know it. Lola raised him right. Heath was never gonna be right but Lance learned from him and his dad. I’m glad Londyn got away from Quincy, he was super trifling and sorry.. hate that Londyn didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her aunt before she died. Her dad was just wrong as hell.. how you love one kid more than the other? Then you don’t mention that they have a sister and put one out for the other. He never really talked to Londyn , she did everything for herself and Jalissa was just wrong all the way. She stalked Londyn and cheated with Quincy on purpose. I don’t know if I could forgive them. Love love the ending . Poor Lance he is surrounded by women.

I really enjoyed reading Lance and Londyn”s love story. I like the fact that he was attracted to her thickaliousness and put forth a lot of effort to pursue her. Lance let Londyn meet him without all he entailed to know that she liked him for him and not just what he could do for her. They were so good together and for each other. I love that they get to see their love grow in the form of three babies on the way.
This was a cute little standalone. I glad Londyn got the man and the family she always deserved. I’m happy she forgave her father and sister and formed a relationship with them. Heath was weird as hell I’m not saying her deserved to die but he did a lot of things that warranted it so when you living wrong bad things happen. I loved me some Lance and glad he loved on my girl Londyn.
Lance knew what, who he wanted he just went about it his way despite the consequences afterwards. Quincy was a total lazy bum using females not caring at all. Dante wasn't the best father but towards the end amends were made. Londyn didn't allow her circumstances to alter or hold her back and because of taking her aunt.'s advice she began to love herself and took her first flight meeting the man that would forever change her life.
I loved this from beginning to the end I hate how she lost her aunt after she had just found her. Quincy was trash. Glad she was able to start to forgive her dad. He was wrong in the beginning but he soon realized how wrong he was. Now Mr. Lance knew what he wanted from the time he first saw her. Yesss I am a sucker for love and romance. 💜💜
I love everything about this book. Londyn definitely deserved everything she incurred with Lance. Her mending family connections and becoming a wife, showed how women can overcome family/relationship trauma. Part 2 please we need to hear Lola’s reaction to triplets and more about cousin Keisha.
This was a good read, Lance is a real man. TC Johnson this was was such a good, the story line was good and not a lot of back-and-forth bad decision-making. Excellent job on the five star.
I’d give this 4.5⭐️. Short cute read with just enough drama to keep you interested. Lance and Londyn had an unconventional start to their relationship but Lance has always been intentional. I love that for Londyn. Recommended.
I must say this was a nice love story some crazies mixed in but the flow was on point not dragged out. Not going to lie read it in 2 hrs that’s how good it was. Nice work 🥰
This book was good, even though it started a little weird but the next couple of chapters tied everything in. I like lance and London story even though he played a part in it all coming together from the beginning but love was there from the start
Lance was definitely a real man. I loved how he genuinely loved London and had her best interest at heart. Quincy was a piece of trash. Jalissa was dirty as heck but I’m glad she started getting herself together in the end. Good read!
Loved all of the characters, how do you put your one daughter out and move your other daughter in. Crazy🤔🤔. I loved Lance and the way he loved Lyndon. Beautiful love story with a little bit of suspense. Sex scenes were 🔥 and 🌶.
The grace that flies our of londyn is amazing. Being so good natured and forgiving was a great read. Lance was a man on a mission he knew what he wanted an he went for it.
This was definitely a feel good story despite the drama. You never really know who people are unless you get to know them authentically. Some truths can't stay hidden.
I really enjoyed this book. It was beautiful. I really enjoyed the lead characters. It was definitely a page turner. There’s nothing like a dominant male that takes your breath away. Authoress Jay Savage
It was a decent and different read with all the same themes that most Kindle books have. It was a readable book and it is thought provoking but very basic. Read it for yourself. It is a love story.
This was so short and Sweet. I loved the love between the MC's. Having someone ride for you and barely know you is everything. First time reading this author's work.
