This is one of those art books that doesn't help you do a damn thing in art except make you feel totally inadequate in the art of painting horses. This book is by Sam Savitt, who is a much better painter and illustrator than he is a writer. He does mention the grid system, but I could never wrap my head around that. This is one of the books in my long-lost horse book collection that I do not miss.
