Duo. Each act of this full-length play explores different aspects of school testing: High Stakes, a comedy about a student surrounded by inexplicable chaos during a major exam; Honor Bright, a drama dealing with the complexities of cheating; and Wendy's Tale, a comedy about a brilliant student who doesn't test well, and lets her imagination run wild instead.

This is a collection of 3 One Act plays that all have to do with testing. They all can be produced on low budgets with little to no set. They all could easily use an entire class of 25 students.

High Stakes: This is an abstract, ensemble based, very physical theatre-y play in which an entire class is on stage, in desks, taking a test the entire time. Definitely a comedy, and great for middle AND high school (that does not happen often!) I might be producing it this year. This play is definitely 5 stars. It's like a MUCH better version of ''This is a Test'' by Stephen Gregg

Honor Bright: A drama about the fall out from cheating on a test. It's a decent one act drama, but my students would not take it seriously. Easy to stage and not challenging to act, but you definitely need students who are willing to take it seriously.

Wendy's Tale: another one act comedy in which students are seated in desks onstage taking a test throughout the duration of the play. We follow Wendy, who is incredibly intelligent but a terrible test taker. Her testing woes from infancy through High School are expressed through a series of vignettes in which the ''testing'' students leave their desks to assume roles as needed. Very flexible casting, comedic, very slap stick.
