Everything Has A Price

Rate this book
On my 7th birthday, we set off for a picnic to Ooty in our red Ford Escort, excited to visit my granny. As we drove, holding my stuffed bunny, our trip took a tragic turn when a dog ran in front of our car, causing my mom to accidentally hit a woman and her son on a bicycle. The woman didn’t survive, and the boy, Raj, was taken to an orphanage after the accident. Feeling guilty, I gave Raj my bunny, hoping it would comfort him. As he took it, he looked at me and said, “Everything has a price.”

I just finished reading 'Everything Has A Price' by and WOW! ✨️ I loved this book and honestly enjoyed every moment of it. Despite not being a fast reader, I was completely under its spell from page one and it had me turning the last page in just a day. The writing is so simple, yet so powerful... it's a rare talent to craft a story that's both easy to follow and impossible to put down🤍

This book is more than just a gripping read it's an EMOTIONAL and HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL story that stays with you long after you've finished reading it. The way the author explores the ripple effects of a simple mistake from the past and how it can alter someone's life forever, is thoughtprovoking and deeply unsettling❤️‍🩹

The author's handling of heavy topics like grief, abuse, revenge and loneliness is commendable and it's clear that they've poured their heart and soul into this debut novel. The narrative is a poignant reminder that every action has a consequence and that the past has a way of catching up with us.

Kudos to the author for crafting such a compelling and emotional debut! 👏 If you're looking for a book that will stay with you, 'Everything Has A Price' is must read !

What begins as a cheerful 7th birthday trip to Ooty takes a scary turn.
A red Ford Escort.
A little girl clutching her bunny.
A sudden accident.
And one unforgettable line
“Everything has a price.”

Years later, Jenny now a writer and caregiver to her ailing mother finds her carefully held-together life unraveling. Mysterious newspaper clippings start arriving. Murders. Messages. And memories she tried to bury deep begin resurfacing.

The atmosphere is tense but quiet less jump scare, more slow dread. The kind that creeps in and sits with you.

What stood out to me:
• Jenny’s emotional complexity vulnerable but resilient.
• A bunny doll that becomes a haunting symbol of trauma.
• Richly layered characters with their own scars and motives.
• Thoughtful pacing that keeps you uneasy but hooked.
• A hauntingly designed cover that speaks volumes (graphic designer in me approves!)

Quotes That Stuck With Me:
“You turned an angel into a monster…
You gave her the scar that cannot be erased…
But you can’t take one thing from her
She is Medusa, the goddess.”

Ratings:
Plot – 4/5
Characters – 4/5
Writing – 4/5
Theme & Impact – 4/5
Cover Design – 4/5

Final Thoughts:
Started this thinking it’d be just another thriller but it surprised me.
It’s not just about solving a mystery.
It’s about guilt, memory, and the weight of the past.
The kind of story that speaks softly… but leaves echoes. Read this one on a rainy evening, and it fit the mood perfectly.

But it's just not a mare revenge story it is more than that.

"We stopped looking for monsters under the bed when we realized they were inside us." — The Haunting of Hill House

It begins like a childhood memory —a birthday picnic to Ooty, a red car, stuffed bunny and family. But everything changes.
One moment, one accident, and one line that breathes itself into skin:
“Everything has a price.”

Years passed and Jenny grew up she becomes a writer & faces a demanding life with a sick mother. But trauma isn’t silent—it doesn’t knock.
Just when she thinks about her life is under control, the past comes thundering. And this time, to settle debts.

🗞️ Mysterious newspaper coming.
📞 Threatening anonymous calls.
Felt but whispering warnings.
🎂Most Importantly a countdown to her birthday—one she may or may not see.
The fear? It whispered like something under my bed just waiting for me to move.

"They're here…" — Poltergeist
And Jenny knows- someone is watching & waiting for........... birthday.🎂

🧸 The bunny doll? It’s no longer a toy.
It becomes a memory—of what was lost and to be repaid.
👤 Raj?
Some souls are better not be thought of!!
He’s like a shadow in every page—silent, but present.
As the murders begun, I start to guess: is this revenge, or something more?

What I loved:

Jenny isn’t a fearless character. She’s loving & real human.
The read doesn’t just build suspense—it tightens the plot.
The writing is cinematic. I could hear the silence. I was watching my self panicking.

By the ends, I recalled of a line from Hereditary:
"Some things can’t be undone. They can only be survived".

🔪 Everything Has A Price isn’t just a thriller packed read. It’s a psychological horror in the form of emotion.
A reminder:
The past should never be forgotten.

“You turned an angel into a monster,
You have her the scar that cannot be erased.”

The book story starts with a family picnic that ended in disaster: their car hit a woman and a boy, killing the woman and orphaning the child.
Jenny burdened by guilt, offered her bunny doll to Raj, but his response was the stark reminder: “Everything has a price.” - Jennifer D’Souza

The life of Jenny takes a dark turn when she begins receiving newspaper clipping about missing persons who were murdered, accompanied by a chilling threat that her own life will end on her birthday.
It also mentions that even her boyfriend Arjun’s father is missing. What could their connection be??

She was living under his watchful eye, never knowing when he would strike. The answer arrived in the form of a dead body in a casket and a bunny doll left in her home.

What are the chances of Jenny being alive on her birthday and the police inspector Lawrence finding the killer??

The book delves into themes of childhood trauma and its lasting impact of an individual.
This story taught me that every decision, whether intentional or accidental, has repercussions that can affect lives in unforeseen ways.
The characters felt genuinely flawed and human, adding emotional depth to the chilling events.
The pacing is expertly controlled, alternating between nail-biting action sequences and moments of intense psychological tension that leave you on the edge of your seat.
The author has crafted a truly unforgettable story that will keep you up late into the night, desperate to unravel its chilling secrets.
Highly recommended for fans of psychological thrillers and suspenseful mysteries.

"Everything has a price."
A line so simple, yet it carries the entire weight of this story.

🐰Everything Has a Price is a psychological thriller that begins with a chilling accident. On her 7th birthday, Jenni is on her way to Ooty with her mother in their red Ford Escort, excited to meet her grandmother and holding her favourite stuffed bunny. But the happy trip turns tragic when a dog suddenly runs across the road, leading to an accident that changes two lives forever.

🐰In that moment, Raj loses his mother, and Jenni — out of innocence — gives him her stuffed bunny. Raj walks away, heartbroken, leaving behind a haunting line: “Everything has a price.”

🐰Eighteen years later, Jenni is a writer, ready to publish her first book, living a peaceful life with Arjun, the love of her life. But soon, strange things begin to happen. A newspaper arrives — and from that moment, the story takes a dark, mysterious turn that keeps you on edge.

🐰At first, I thought it would be a simple thriller, but as the story unfolded, it became darker and eerier, playing with the mind in unexpected ways. The short chapters make it an easy and fast read, though at times, I felt the events moved a bit too quickly, leaving little time to process some scenes. Still, it's a gripping story that keeps you hooked till the very end - a perfect blend of suspense, emotion, and psychological twists.

🐰What I liked the most was how it explores how one moment can change everything - how choices, even unintentional ones, can shape lives.

💫For a debut novel, this one truly impressed me.

📚Recommended for:
Those who enjoy psychological thrillers with emotional layers, dark secrets, and short, fast-paced chapters that leave you thinking long after you finish.

I would like to thank @nithishreads Sir for sharing this review copy with me.

🧑‍💻 Jenni, a new author, suddenly gets a weitten message left as a note on her door that someone is about to kill her on her upcoming birthday. She dies not know what might have gone wrong. She also feels that someone is constantly watching over secretly. She has an ailing mother, Mary, at home and a caring boyfriend Arjun. She shares this info with Arjun and together they visit the local police station to lodge a complaint. In between there are certain gruesome murders taking place. Are the murders random or are they related? Is it a case of serial killings? If yes, what is the motive? The author takes us readers on a chilling ride through his fast paced novel from Chennai to Ooty. The cast is strong. The author has covered the background of his characters quite well. You will think that you might have guessed it right but wait for the plot twist!! There are chapters alternating among different character viewpoints and I like such books. This is a proper thriller and the ending will leave a gaping hole in your hearts. Will Jenni survive the threat?

🐰 You might be wandering about the bunny on the cover page. Don't worry there are bunnies all over the pages and you will need to read the book to find out why!

So, when are you getting a copy of this thriller?

A red car. A birthday. A picnic plan. And in just one moment — everything changes. Everything Has A Price by Nithish begins with a childhood memory that turns into a nightmare. A sudden accident, a life lost, and a boy named Raj left alone in the world. His words — “Everything has a price” — aren’t just dialogue. They echo through the pages like a warning .

Time skips forward, but the past doesn’t stay buried. Jenny, once a little girl in that red car, starts receiving strange messages. Shadows of guilt and fear creep into her life. The story doesn't scream — it whispers, builds, and slowly pulls you into a space where secrets breathe and memories hurt. The writing makes you feel the weight of silence, the kind people carry when they think no one is watching .

The suspense grows with every chapter. Twists come quietly but land with impact. There’s tension, emotion, and a constant reminder that some wounds never fully heal. Raj’s character stays in the background but feels close — like a shadow that never truly left. The fear in the book is quiet, emotional, and haunting at its core .

This book is a quiet storm. It doesn't rush. It lingers. It makes you think about the past, about choices, about the prices we pay without knowing. If you love thrillers that make your heart race and your mind wander long after the last page, Everything Has A Price is the kind of story that stays — not just in memory, but in feeling .

⚫️Everything Has A Price by Nithish is a deeply moving and reflective coming-of-age story that delves into the heavy themes of guilt, innocence, and the lasting impact of a single moment. Right from the first page, the author draws readers into the tender world of childhood, where what starts as a simple birthday picnic spirals into a life-altering tragedy.

⚫️Told through the eyes of a seven-year-old, the narrative is raw, beautiful, and packed with emotion. Nithish skillfully weaves a tale that shifts between innocence and trauma, prompting readers to reflect on the weight of the choices we make both as kids and as adults. The moment when young Nithish parts with his beloved stuffed bunny to give to Raj is both symbolic and heart-wrenching, leaving a lasting impression. Raj's haunting words "Everything has a price"echo throughout the book, serving as a poignant reminder of the emotional costs we bear.

⚫️The writing is sharp yet subtle, filled with a quiet intensity and a nostalgic ache that lingers long after you turn the last page. This isn’t just a story about an accident; it’s about the journey toward redemption, grappling with loss, and growing up while navigating the shadows of our own mistakes.

⚫️I highly recommend this book to anyone who appreciates rich, emotional storytelling that resonates deeply. Everything Has A Price is a quick yet poignant read that delivers a powerful punch with its honesty and depth.

Happy reading ❤️✨

I wasn't prepared for how profoundly Everything Has A Price would move me. Nithish’s storytelling is raw, emotional, and haunting in the best way possible. The book begins with an innocent trip to Ooty that spirals into tragedy, told through the eyes of a seven-year-old boy. What starts as a cheerful family outing quickly turns into a life-changing event—an accident that leaves one woman dead and a young boy, Raj, orphaned.

The moment the narrator gives Raj his stuffed bunny as a small act of comfort is touching—but Raj’s quiet, chilling response, “Everything has a price,” stayed with me long after I finished the last page. It’s a powerful theme that resonates throughout the story.

Nithish doesn’t just write a dramatic incident—he weaves a tale of how one moment can fracture multiple lives. The tone is intimate and reflective, yet layered with broader commentary on guilt, destiny, and unintended consequences.

This short but impactful narrative is incredibly well-paced and emotionally grounded. It reads almost like a confessional or a memoir, and it’s that honesty and vulnerability that makes it stand out. Perfect for readers who appreciate stories with moral weight and emotional depth.

If you're looking for a meaningful read that will stay with you, this book is worth every page. I’m truly looking forward to more from this author.

Jennifer D'Souza, a writer, was thrilled to be publishing her first book. She was excited that her book was finally launching. Her boyfriend, Arjun, supported her in everything. However, she was worried about her mother, who was suffering from Parkinson's disease. Their caretaker, Monica, helped both her mother and Jennifer with daily tasks.

Everything seemed to be going well in her life—until one day, she received a newspaper in which someone had written about her and a series of mysterious deaths. The message also included a chilling line:
Everything Has a Price.

What does that mean?
Who wanted her dead?
Was it revenge?

That line struck a nerve when she recalled an incident from her 7th birthday. Her mother had accidentally hit a woman and a boy with their car. The woman died on the spot, but the boy survived and was sent to an orphanage. At that time, the boy had spoken those same haunting words.

The story is enjoyable and the language is very simple, but it doesn’t quite manage to evoke deep emotions. Maybe because it was too quick and many things were happening around and to bind the story, emotions were left out. Although the story is very engaging and keeps you in toe till the very end. I hope to read more from the author in future with more depth and emotions.

The storyline was really good, but the writing style and pacing felt a bit too fast for me. I loved the plot and the characters, but the way the author wrote certain scenes made them pass too quickly , sometimes I didn’t even realize a scene had ended. The story itself was nice, but it didn’t completely capture me.

I had high hopes in the beginning, and while I did end up liking the book, the writing just didn’t feel like me. Interestingly, my sister read it alongside me and said she loved the author’s writing style...so I think it’s just me. Maybe I’ve read too many gripping thrillers, and that’s why this one didn’t fit quite right for me.

However, as I got closer to the end, I found myself feeling really emotional. No matter how I felt about the pacing, the characters felt real and right , and what happened at the end broke me. They truly deserved better 😭💔

If you’re just starting your thriller journey, definitely give this one a try! 🫶🏻

“Everything Has a Price” is a thoughtful and impressively crafted debut that delves into how a single choice can echo through every part of life. Nithish’s writing feels honest and steady, making the emotional weight of the story both believable and deeply relatable. His characters aren’t just written — they feel lived, carrying flaws, regrets, and hopes that mirror our own.

What truly stayed with me is the quiet sincerity in the way the author handles the themes of consequence and healing. The narrative doesn’t rush; it unfolds with a certain emotional maturity that makes you pause and reflect. There were moments where I found myself underlining lines simply because they felt real — as if the book understood something I hadn’t put into words yet.

On a personal note, reading this felt less like going through a story and more like listening to someone unravel a truth they’ve carried for years. It’s a narrative that lingers, not for its drama, but for its honesty and the way it gently nudges you to look at your own choices.A sincere, emotionally grounded debut that reminds us how every decision shapes who we become.

“Everything Has A Price” is a gripping psychological thriller that starts with one tragic accident in Ooty and then slowly shows how that single moment poisons every life it touches. I loved how the author uses small, unsettling details-the stuffed bunny, the anonymous threats, the man in black-to build an atmosphere where guilt, fear, and curiosity keep tightening around Jenny until the final reveal hits. The twist about Arjun and Raj is intense, but what stayed with me even more was the emotional cost of revenge and the heartbreaking ending, where sacrifice becomes the only way to break the cycle of pain. With its simple language, fast second half, and morally grey characters, this debut feels perfect for readers who enjoy psychological thrillers that mess with their head and conscience long after the last page.

Everything Has a Price by is a short but gripping thriller that really surprised me and I couldn't keep it down. The story revolves around one single incident, but the way it branches out and connects different things in life is what makes it so interesting.

I loved how it explored emotions like guilt, trauma, and the weight people silently carry. It felt real and heavy at times, but in a way that kept me turning the pages. Honestly, once I started reading, I didn’t want to put it down because I just had to know how it was going to end.

Yes, there are a few grammatical errors here and there, but if you look past that, the story itself is definitely worth reading. It’s short, fast-paced, and has a mystery that pulls you right in.

The story begins with a girl named Jenny, who is going to her grandmother’s house with her mother to celebrate her 7th birthday. But suddenly, their car hits a boy and his mother. The boy name was Raj, and sadly, his mother dies in the accident.
After an investigation, the police send Raj to an orphanage. Jenny, who feels very sad after seeing everything, gives Raj her favorite toy—a bunny. From that moment both Jenny's and Raj’s lives change forever.

Book Review: Everything Has a Price by Nithish
Genre: Psychological Thriller | Suspense | Crime Fiction

Everything Has a Price by Nithish is a gripping psychological thriller that pulls you deep into a world of trauma, love, revenge, and emotional conflict. It explores how one tragic mistake can destroy many lives—and how the past never really stays buried.

Years later, Jenni, now grown up, starts receiving threatening calls and mysterious newspaper clippings. Someone knows what happened. Someone wants revenge. But who is behind these threats, and why now?

We are then introduced to Raj—the boy whose life was destroyed that day. Raised by an alcoholic father and later abused in an orphanage, Raj grows up carrying deep emotional scars. The pain, betrayal, and anger of his past have shaped him into someone unpredictable and complex.

Everything Has a Price is an intense and emotionally gripping read! The characters – Raj, Arjun, and Jenny – are beautifully developed and feel incredibly real. I loved how Jenny pursues her passion and becomes an author, with Arjun’s unwavering support through her toughest moments. The mystery, secrets, and twists kept me hooked from start to finish.

The ending left me deeply moved – Arjun’s sacrifice for Jenny’s happiness is heartbreaking, yet inspiring. Jenny’s journey of realizing what he wanted for her and living up to it made the story even more powerful. A perfect blend of suspense, emotion, and love. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys thrillers with depth and heart!

A birthday trip to Ooty for 7 years old Jenny will give her scars whose repercussions would be felt years later...
Young Jenny along with her mom was travelling to Ooty in her car when suddenly Jenny's mom got distracted and hit a woman and her child.
While the mother succumbed to her injuries, the kid survived and was later on shifted to an Orphanage.
No case was filed on Jenny's mom as they had an understanding with the policeman.
Out of guilt, Jenny offered her favourite toy, a bunny which she was carrying with her, to the victim- the kid, Raj.
Raj took the bunny and looked into Jenny's eyes and whispered to her, " Everything has a price."
The story then takes us to the later years when Jenny is a young debutant author who is working on publishing her first book. She had long forgotten about the accident and is thriving well in her life.
Then one day, she was reminded of what happened in the past. People started getting murdered around her and she found herself in centre of all this..the killer wanted Jenny to know who was behind the murders-he left a bunny mask...
Was it Raj? Who after all these years is seeking redemption? Or is it someone else?
Everyone is a suspect..Does everyone has a motive?
To find out, Do read, "Everything has a price"

Actually 4.5 read for me...
I picked up this book without any prior thoughts—didn’t even glance at the blurb—and honestly, I’m glad I did. The story at first might remind you of a few Bollywood thrillers, but it carries its own spark of originality and inspiration. It kept me hooked till the very end.

It’s a short book, and I managed to finish it in just a day. While it was quite obvious who was after her life, the suspense was never really about who—it was about the why. And that "why" made the reading experience gripping, keeping me turning pages.

The story is packed with love, pain, betrayal, and grief, tied together with a thrilling pace. The emotions feel raw and real, making it more than just a crime story—it’s also about human choices and the cost we pay for them.

What a ride this book was! I didn’t expect to get so emotionally involved, but somewhere along the journey, it just pulled me in. I started reading it thinking it would be a simple emotional story, but it turned out to be a lot more layered than I imagined — there’s mystery, trauma, friendship, pain, healing… and everything is tied together by this one powerful line that echoes through the book: “Everything has a price.” That line stuck with me.

I absolutely loved the way the story opens — it’s Jenni’s 7th birthday, and what should’ve been a happy day quickly turns into something tragic. That whole scene with the accident was written so vividly, I could feel the silence in the car after the crash. And the guilt that Jenni carried from that one moment? It was so raw. It stayed with her, and in a way, it stayed with me while reading.

What made the book super impactful for me was how it talked about mental health and trauma — especially through Raj. That twist about him having Multiple Personality Disorder hit hard. I felt Jenni’s pain and helplessness, being in love with someone whose true self was buried under years of pain. And that whole Bunny motif — I don’t know why, but that innocent toy became such a haunting symbol. It was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time.

I also really enjoyed the blend of light-hearted moments (like the cake-baking chaos) with dark, intense turns. It kept me hooked. One moment I was smiling, and the next, I had goosebumps. I think that unpredictability made the book feel so alive. The pacing, the characters, the reveals — everything just kept me turning pages.

More than anything, this book reminded me that choices matter. That even when something seems unintentional, the ripples can go far beyond what we see. It also showed how deeply one accident, one moment, can alter lives — not just for the people directly involved, but for everyone connected to them.

It’s a book that made me feel — genuinely feel. And for that, I’m thankful. I think I needed a story like this. One that shows you the price of silence, the cost of guilt, but also, the healing power of truth.

Highly recommend it to anyone who wants an emotional, thoughtful story with layers. This one’s going to stay with me for a while.

Book Review: Everything Has A Price by Nithish 📚

Rating:5/5

Review:

👉Everything Has A Price is a gripping and emotionally resonant psychological thriller that lingers in the heart long after the final page is turned. Nithish crafts a story that is not only suspenseful but also deeply human, exploring how a single tragic moment can leave echoes throughout an entire lifetime.

👉The story begins with a childhood memory — Jenny’s 7th birthday picnic to Ooty with her family in their red Ford Escort. It should have been a joyful day, but everything changes when a tragic accident occurs. Jenny’s mother accidentally hits a woman and her son riding a bicycle. The woman dies, and the boy, Raj, is left alone and sent to an orphanage. Jenny, filled with innocent guilt, gives him her cherished stuffed bunny, only for Raj to look at her and say the chilling words: “Everything has a price.”

👉This powerful moment becomes the haunting thread that ties the entire novel together.Years later, Jenny is a young adult trying to find balance in her life. She is a debut author, struggling under the weight of her responsibilities, including caring for her ailing mother. Her boyfriend, Arjun, is a supportive anchor — calm, dependable, and kind. But just when Jenny begins to feel like she’s reclaiming control of her life, the past crashes back in. Anonymous letters, disturbing newspaper clippings, and terrifying memories start resurfacing. And through it all, the phrase “Everything has a price” becomes more than just a memory — it’s a threat.

👉What makes this book so unforgettable is its emotional honesty. Jenny is portrayed with incredible depth — she’s not a perfect protagonist. She is vulnerable, sometimes hesitant, often overwhelmed, and that’s what makes her feel real. You can feel her fear, her guilt, her confusion as the trauma from her childhood refuses to stay buried.

👉Nithish doesn’t rely on jump scares or loud shocks — instead, he builds psychological tension slowly and skillfully. The pacing is deliberate, giving space for every emotion to unfold fully.

Happy reading 😁 😁

Book Review: Everything Has a Price by Nithish

Some books excite us with their plotline and twists. Others excite us with emotion and depth. Everything Has a Price, is a psychological thriller that will excite you with both and for a long time after you finish reading. Nithish starts out, as all great novels do, with a relatively happy childhood memory from the age of seven. Jenny is on her birthday picnic in Ooty with her family, with a red Ford Escort, and her bunny doll. Everything collapses as the memory turns into a tragic moment in life. Only moments after recounting his idyllic childhood moment, Jenny's entire world implodes, leaving a boy, Raj, orphaned, and hauntingly reminding young Jenny that, "Everything has a price” the slogan that the story will develop along with the characters throughout the balance of the book.

Fast forward, Jenny as a young adult is just growing her writing career, she is caring for her sick mother and in a stable relationship with Arjun. But, ghosts of her past won't remain in the past and through anonymous letters, disturbing clippings and revisiting her childhood nightmares, she must confront the dark shadows that marketed her childhood with guilt and suppressed memories. Tension builds slowly with an almost whisper-into-scream approach that ultimately invites us to consider that the traumas of yesteryear are not simply memorial but they are still alive.

The novel’s emotional sincerity raises the stakes of the book. Jenny is not a perfect heroine; she is broken, obstinate, and very human. Raj's arc, and the emotional weight of his fractured mind, is a painful heartbreaker. The concurrent storylines, each with guilt, trauma, and the lingering effects of an accidental decision, layered on an underlying story, elevate this story format from a thriller to a reckoning with memory and consequence.

Nithish's prose is hauntingly interesting - not overly written, his pacing is methodical, and the motif of the bunnies is powerful and creepy.A quiet but uncompromising book, Everything Has Price is a psychological thriller that entertains but does more than entertain. It disturbs, makes you feel, and lingers.

Everything Has A Price by Nithish is a thrilling and suspenseful novel that begins with a childhood memory and grows into a story about guilt, consequences, and forgiveness.

The story starts with Jenny, the main character, recalling her 7th birthday picnic to Ooty with her family. What should have been a happy day turns tragic when Jenny’s mother accidentally hits a woman and her son, Raj, who were riding a bicycle. The woman dies, and Raj is sent to an orphanage. Everything Has A Price" – A Mind That Remembers, A Heart That Bleeds

Some stories don’t just entertain—they haunt. Everything Has A Price isn’t merely a psychological thriller. It’s an emotional mirror, quietly shattering you piece by piece as you walk beside Jenny through shadows she never asked for.

From the first chilling scene at a family picnic, the book whispers a truth many of us ignore: the past doesn’t vanish—it waits. Lurking. And Nithish captures that terrifying stillness with unsettling beauty.

💡 What makes this book so special isn't just the suspense (though that will keep you glued), it's how deeply it explores the emotional cost of surviving. Jenny isn’t a bold, flawless lead—she’s real. She breaks. She fears. She aches. And in those cracks, you see yourself.
But what truly tore through me was the bunny doll. A simple object turning into a haunting symbol of everything lost and everything left unsaid. It’s not just about fear. It’s about grief that never healed, questions that were never answered, and a past that demands payment.

🗞️ With every newspaper clipping and whispered threat, Nithish doesn’t just build tension—he builds empathy. And the twists? You don’t see them coming. But when they hit, they leave a mark.

---

💭 This is not a thriller you read with detachment—it’s one you feel in your bones. It makes you wonder:

What traumas are we still carrying?

What memories do we silence just to keep functioning?

And most of all… What is the price of forgetting something you never truly healed from?

---

🔖 Final Thought:
Everything Has A Price isn’t a book I’ll forget. It’s a story I’ll carry—with goosebumps, with teary eyes, and with a reminder that even the softest things (like a childhood toy) can hold the loudest echoes.
If you're looking for a thriller that’s emotionally raw, psychologically layered, and hauntingly poetic… this is it.
