THE WAR ISN’T OVER.

My father was a monster, a murderer.

The town of Black Hallows was built on money, power, and blood. Where the elite committed their crimes yet forever went unpunished. They thought they were untouchable, but that stops now.

Like a hunter I watch them, stalking their every move, and then I strike. Eliminating them before they even have the chance to fight back.

Just like my father taught me.

But this isn’t like before, this isn’t my family’s war, they’ve fought enough battles, and they deserve their second chance.

So now I keep my secrets and hide the bodies where no one will ever find them, but it seems now I have more to lose than I ever did before.

The darkness has finally claimed me, and the light refuses to set me free, so what do I do when they come after what is mine?

My father was a monster, a murderer and I’m my father’s son.

This book broke me. Destroyed me. However this world, this series is incredible. I loveeeee these characters. I feel like they are my friends. Reading book one in this series changed the way I read. I love darker romances with found family because of this series. I will forever be greatful to G.N. Wright for giving us these characters who we love and are a part of us! I’m not ready to say goodbye to this series but gosh am I sooooo glad I read it.

I wanted this book sooooo badly from the minute Lincoln came on page in book one. He will forever and for always be a top book boyfriend of mine. Superman forever!!!! And now add in Asher and Logan and I am happy as can be! These three had me sweating, they were so hot together!

So much goes on in this book. It wraps up years of an incredible series. But mainly the story is about Lincoln and his demons. How he constantly fights daily to overcome his awful childhood. Luckily the gang is all back in this story to help him fight, and overcome the darkness. G.N. held nothing back! She gave you her heart, her tears and her soul!

The writing is incredible! The story blew me away. I mean it when I say I will never ever be over this book or this series. I want to climb into this story and hug everyone. This was emotional, it was heart wrenching and heartbreaking. However again, I am soooo glad I got to experience and be a part of this world! I will forever love these characters.

This book concluded a series I fell so in love with. G.N. Wright’s writing is fantastic! She gives you stories that tear you to shreds! Stories that stay with you forever! This series forever changed me, and I thank her for that experience!

Linc, the quiet, dangerous and dirty fuckboy that he is, is greedy. He wants both Logan and Asher Goddamn Donovan and this motherfucker ain't afraid to go for what he wants. His low battery dildo brother Marcus got his own best friend in the QUEEN that Elle King is and the sexy as fuck brother Jace got his angel, so why can't he get twice as much fun and lovin'?!

This book is filled with all the quiet smut, the voyeurism smut, the rushed smut, the bloody smut, the dirty smut, the virgin smut, the holy shit it fucking happened smut and everything in between smut. But even with the usb rechargeable capabilities, it was a whole lot more than expected and I'm fucking here for it!

Here we have the reasons people whisper about Linc and Ash and why the royal elite can't seem to have a sentence about Logan without including fuckboy to it. These 3 are beyond perfect, they all compliment and push eachother towards greatness and we fucking see it all. The Dark Prince finally frees himself from his bloody name, Linc finally leaves his past behind and Logan gets all his xmas wishes come true. Can you even fucking look at Home Alone the same again? No, motherfucker, the answer is NO!

This cunt of an author poured everything into this last chapter of the Rebels and she didn't hold the fuck back! My invoice for my lost contacts is in the mail. Holy shit the tears I shed were unconstitutional should have been illegal, banned, and shameful. The words she sewed together were worthy of my shy highlighter. The amount of 'fuck yous' I sent her the whole time I'm reading this were worthy of being blocked. The emotions I felt during this was uncalled for and could be considered abuse in some courts. But I digress. It was the perfect ending for the series. It was bittersweet, chaotic, hot and sinful. Did I mention the blood? The fucking bloody scenes were to fucking die for, omg. DEFUCKINGLICIOUS.

I don't think I'll be able to put into words how incredible this book was.
The relationship between Logan and Lincoln is so beautiful, and I loved every word of them falling so hard for each other.
Lincoln has an insane amount of trauma from his past and hasn't shared it with anyone. He will do anything and everything to protect the people he loves and cares about, and he deserves the nickname Superman. His bond with Cassie (Elle&Asher's daughter) is my favourite thing ever. He's so vulnerable around her, and she brings out the best parts of him.
Asher has also had a complicated past and being a Donovan, he wants nothing more than to escape it. He blames himself for everything that's ever happened and believes he isn't worthy or deserving of love.
Logan is Zach's brother and from the second he meets Lincoln, he's hooked. He falls hard and fast and is scared of letting Lincoln know how badly he's fallen for him.

The chemistry between Lincoln and Logan is feral, but add Asher into that mix, and words can't describe how passionate, exhilarating, fiery and intense. I loved every second of it and it was the first MMM book I've read and surely will not be the last.

These three guys tore my heart up, shattered it into a million pieces (boy, did I cry!) and healed me in more ways than I ever thought possible.
I can't speak highly enough of this entire series. It's one of my favourite series I've ever read, and I've cried in two of them. The last 10 chapters destroyed me, I cried so hard, but the ending was everything.

If you haven't read any of these books, please give them a try.

Gabby, thank you for writing such an incredible, beautiful book and putting these stories out into the world!

I KNEW IT WAS COMING, AND IT STILL WRECKED ME. It might as well be my heart in the jar.

I was convinced from the start that Gabby was going to hurt us. My gut was screaming at me, and even still, I HAD TO HAVE LINCOLN'S STORY. The first 70-75% was wonderful. The tension and build up for the relationship with Lincoln, Logan, and Ash was perfect. Truly, it was. The steamy scenes made my belly swoop, and the connections I felt were some of the strongest I've ever had with characters.

My heart kept pounding, waiting for the other shoe to drop, and when we got there, I was BEGGING, out loud, with tears streaming down my face for it not to go down the way it did. I had to stop reading, wondering if I could even finish, yet knowing I would.

There will be readers mad at this book. Even though my heart lies bleeding out at my feet, I am not one of them. Do I wish it could have been different? I do. I wanted that neat happy ending for my Lincoln, but I know the vision the author had from the start, and I respect it. I get it. Logan, Lincoln, and Ash will always hold a very special place in my heart.

Get ready to swoon. Get ready to sob. And rage. Maybe even toss your reading device. But I promise, you'll feel for these men. Your heart will soar and break, then knit back together with cracks.

It was amazing, Gabby. Thank you for sharing them with us.

I can’t believe my favorite series is over! 😭😭😭 Since book one I’ve wanted to be Elle King when I grow up! She is goals in life!
But this book is about my baby boo Lincoln! I love this man so damn much! This is an M/M romance and it is so damn angsty! It will rip your heart out and then put it back together.

Thank you Gabby for allowing me to be a part of your team and getting to be a part of this world.

Soooo, this book doesn’t necessarily have a happy ending imo which is why I haven’t added it to any of my romance shelves because, while the characters on the last page are happy, it isn’t the HEA you’d expect from a romance book - this is ultimately what stopped this from getting 5⭐️.

This series was one of the first that made me fall head over heels for dark romance. I started the series back in 2021 and it's had me in a chokehold (the best kind) ever since. Subsequently...I've been begging Gabby for Lincoln and Asher's story since this series started and oh my freaking gosh...did she deliver with Ruthless Rebel!!

There's been so much brewing between Lincoln and Asher since the beginning, you could seriously FEEL the tension and chemistry these two had, then you mix in a shining light (Logan) between the darkness and holy hotness! All the freaking nicknames are also on point...Superman, Dark Price, my little psycho.

I refuse to spoil Lincoln's story and journey...just know that it will blow your mind! We finally see what Lincoln went through to become the man he is today, the character depth and growth is nothing short of perfection (for every character)!

I cannot recommend this book or this series (must be read in order) enough, it's easily one of my all time favorites. It's already been living rent-free in my head for almost four years and I really hope it stays there forever. This is the last book in the series for the Rebels, so this is definitely a bittersweet read, I wanted to devour it and savor it in equal measure. Side note...Elle King, the first three books are her trilogy, is definitely one of the best female characters ever written!

Grab a box (or ten) of tissues, read the trigger warnings, then strap in and hold on tight because you are in for one emotional ride (and one hell of a book hangover)!

After years and years of waiting we finally have Lincoln's story!! I can’t even begin to express how obsessed I became with him since the beginning of the Black Hallows series. He will always have a special part in my heart.

I always wondered, often late at night, how his story would be told. I knew it couldn't just be something so simple and basic. I will say though how I did not expect his story to be so emotionally brutal. The things she just did to my heart in this book. She definitely took us on an emotional rollercoaster that is for sure.

I wasn't sure at first how I felt about a MMM. When I always pictured Lincoln's Story I only ever envisioned him with Asher but now that I finished reading it, I couldn't see it being any other way than MMM. I feel like we needed Logan in the mix to make everything just work.

All in all I absolutely love this book! It was nice stepping back into the world of Black Hallows again. Of course learning more about my man Lincoln was an added plus. I highly reccomend you read this entire series as well as all of G.N. Wright's other series. She definitely knows how to tell a story. Fair warning though before you start this book. Make sure you grab a box of tissues. She doesn't make it easy on us.

*I received an ARC for my honest opinion.*

A book has never destroyed me as much as this one.

My Sunshine Boy I will miss you forever.

Asher and Lincoln are truly iconic and I love them both so much. I know this is how their story had to be, I wouldn’t change a thing (except for you know...)

This series will forever live rent free in my head I am so sad its over. Everyone needs to read this series. It will forever be my favourite.

🥀
I don't even have words for how much this book destroyed me…

I have been waiting for Lincoln's book since I read Revival of a King and it definitely did not disappoint! Lincoln and Asher were made for each other but I don't think they would have ever realized it if it weren't for Logan… Logan was an amazing brother and friend but he was something else for Lincoln and Asher. For them he was the glue that held them together until they were forced to do it without him.

This book completely ripped my heart out but it will forever be one of my favourites.

🔥
This book made me cry real tears…it’s heartbreaking and I will forever miss Logan. But I can’t even begin to tell you how good this book and entire series is!!!!!!
Asher and Lincoln are my new fave MM couple, and Logan in spirit 🥲

This book whole heartedly deserves 10 stars!
This is now my favorite book of 2024, Gabby really gave us a book that we all have been waiting for, I sat and have started writing this review multiple times and then deleted it because all the correct words just won't come out.
I will forever love this found family! Lincoln, Logan and Asher y'all have defiantly taken a piece of me with you in this ending because I loved the connection y'all had.
This book had me falling in love with Lincoln more, I have waited forever it feels for this story, and they truly say all good things must come to an end this series is just that and Gabby gave it the perfect ending.
I will say prepare yourself for not only greatness but also, it wouldn't be a Black Hallows book without some type of darkness and the one in this book brought me to tears. I think I cried more than I would like to admit, I will not disclose what brought on my tears because everyone needs to experience this book themselves.
This book is everything and I appreciate Gabby with giving us such an amazing book!
Cheers to whatever the future may hold

I want to give this five stars and one star at the same time. You know what you did Gabby! Now I have been wanting Asher and Linc together ever since they met I begged, I pleaded, I waited patiently then I cussed up and almighty storm when Linc got together with Logan. I wanted Logan gone, I wanted him back at college having his own series and adventures then we could have a couple books on the twins. Speaking of a novella would be nice for Lils, I mean what's going on there???

Well to say Gabby ripped my heart out in a way I didn't even see coming, like you got what you wanted you should be happy but...I was reversing my kindle pages and yelling I've changed my mind this isn't what I wanted all three of them can be happy together I take it back.

Putting the heartache aside this book has everything we have come to love about this series, the feeling that comes from chosen family, the joy in the small moments, more smut than I expected, wow it was a whole heaping of hotness and action.

The ending is bittersweet rather than a proper HEA in my opinion but sometimes art imitates life and not everyone gets one.

“i can’t bring him back from the edge, but i can go over it with him.” STOP. my heart.

no one understands what these characters & this series means to me. from the very second i finished the first book i knew i was going to fall into a deep obsession with this series & that’s exactly what happened… & i wouldn’t want it any other way.

this book made me laugh, made me angry, made my black heart grow a little lol & made me CRY.
lincoln has always been my fav rebel & getting this different side of him, the one different from how the rest of the family sees him felt so special & personal.
i can’t even put into words how reading about everything he had to do in the past & in the present just to make sure his family was safe made me feel.
& then seeing his relationship with logan grow & then with asher was just perfect. i went into this thinking it would only be with ash but i’m so happy logan was part of the mix.

this ended the series perfectly & even though i’m so sad to know it’s over, i’m just happy i found them & got to experience it.🥹

p.s elle king will forever be a mf badass fmc.

Ruthless Rebel by G.N. Wright is the fifth book in the Black Hallows series. I have not read a lot of MM/MMM romances but I absolutely loved this book. This book shattered my heart!!!! I balled like an absolute baby. This book was AMAZING! The storyline and the romance was everything. These characters have so much depth. I am so sad that this series is over! I can’t recommend this series enough.

Ash, Linc, and Logan were the perfect throuple. They each had their own demons they needed to overcome. I have been looking forward to this book since their relationship was hinted in the last four books. Their book did not disappoint. It was everything I wanted. These three had electric chemistry and I loved seeing their relationship develop. The plot in this story was well paced. Overall, this was a great way to end an amazing series!

This was the first series I ever started reading as an ARC reader, it's been a long few years coming and I can't believe we're finally saying goodbye to the Rebels. Gabby has left the best for last with my favourite Rebels story.

This book put me through every emotion possible, I was thrilled when I was getting everything I wanted in this story - the spice, the confessions between the guys, Logan being the absolute hilarious ball of sunshine that he is. And then of course, if you've read the previous books in the Black Hallows series, you know that you'll be thrown some huge curve balls that will have you grabbing the tissues, wanting to throw your kindle away and to hunt down Gabby.

I won't give anything of this book away, but it's the perfect end to the series. So get ready for one last ride with the Rebels and the King that is Elle.

5⭐️x♾️. This book completely gutted me. Absolutely destroyed. 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭 I love these characters so much! I knew Lincoln and Asher were endgame from book 1. Their energy was such a vibe and their story proved to be epic. Lincoln and Logan’s relationship was so beautiful as well. Logan was such a beacon of light from the start. I loved him immediately. The push and pull of Asher and Logan’s relationship always felt so sweet. Logan being a first for Asher felt so fitting. The three of them together were fireworks. The chemistry and the passion was 🥵🥵🥵🫠. It’s been such a sloooow burn with Lincoln, Logan and Asher since book 1 and the payoff was so good and extremely bittersweet. I’ll never get over them! 🥹

I have to say I am absolutely devastated to finally finish the Black Hallows series and ending with Lincoln, Asher and Logan's story.

Lincoln and Asher have always been my two favourites and throwing in a very flirty Logan, I felt extremely spoilt.

Ruthless Rebel is the 5th and final book in the series and focuses on deal with trauma and past/present demons.

I'm trying not to spoil anything, but this and Reckless rebel I found in my opinion the most emotional, hard hitting and heart breaking.

Thank you Gabby, for bringing all these characters into my life and ripping my heart out at the same time. Now onto the MC series 😏

Not really sure how to write this. I’ve been so excited for this book since I met these characters. Lincoln “Superman” Blackwell is the dark that I’ve been craving. Logan is the light, sunshine and happiness. Asher definitely brings all grumpiness. These three had my heart right from the start. We get all the main characters that we have met along the way and an amazing storyline. There are always demons to fight. I love this book but it hurt!! It hurt really bad. Gabby came to play with my emotions and I kinda hate her for it. The whole series is amazing but this book is my favorite even if I cried in public reading it.

If you are thinking about starting this series, do it. What a way to end an era! If you enjoy MM, dark romance, found family this book is definitely for you. I have loved every single book in this series, but this book takes the cake. Logan, Asher, and Lincoln have come a long way through this series and I was so excited that they finally go their own book. G.N Wright has a way with her words and builds so much into her characters that is definitely worth a read. THE SPICE was out of this world and the plot even more so.

I have no words. This book! This fucking book! It had me sobbing at 7AM and cursing the authors name.

How could you?? He didn’t deserve that!! (No spoilers, but you’ll understand after reading)

“Logan brings me from the brink of darkness and forces me to dance in the light, but Asher meets me right there in the black of night, his wounds so similar to my own, and it’s time we started embracing that.”

I loved and hated this book at the same time. I’m so sad to see it end and while I wish it ended differently, it feels like a raw and real ending since not everyone in life gets their happy ending.

Also Asher gifting Lincoln a heart? Chefs kiss!

I can't believe after 4 years we have reached the end. It's been a great series and this last book didn't disappoint.

The author really should be providing therapy for this one because it is an emotional one. Still has the same dark hearted stabby explosive family we have come to love but lots of love and hot scenes too.

A fantastic conclusion and was great to dive back in with the rebels again.

Hoping Lily gets a book next!

Never has a title been more accurate for a story. We have all been waiting for this book, and damn .... make sure you have a solid grip on your Kindle.
There's so much going on and I don't want to give away too many spoilers, just know that this story will make you laugh, cry, yell and smile. A pinky promise of all times is my favorite scene. I loved and hated this book.... which is probably why I enjoyed it so much.

I could not have imagined this story play out any other way. Gabby has finished off the series perfectly.
I loved being back in Black Hallows with this found family. The dynamics makes this one of my absolute favourite series’ and Lincoln’s story was just as good as I was expecting 🖤
It is full of everything you want from the Rebels - banter, smut, ‘touch him and die’ - all the vibes.
I’m sad it’s over but I’m really hoping we see Lily with her own book.
