When it was all over, Aisha Smith only remembered flash backs of the horrible murder of her boyfriend. To her, it was like a kaleidoscope of memories flashing before her eyes. As time passes, she realizes the memories are coming back clearly, but her boyfriend isn’t. She was accused of stabbing her boyfriend to death and sentenced to spend some time in the state mental institution as her punishment. Once she was admitted and stabilized, Aisha was asked to tell her story on where it all started on how she became so violent.
She is forced to go back many years, so her psychologist could find out what made her snap in such a horrendous way. As Aisha she travels back down memory lane, she realizes a lot about herself. She finally saw the light of all the heartache she went through. The Good, bad and the ugly. But didn’t understand what brought on the bloodshed. Follow Aisha while she tells her story from the beginning on how 3 different men who were alike in so many ways came in to her life and it was never the same. Same script different cast.

Wow!!! Who would've thought someone would have to deal with as much hurt and heartbreak before hitting the age of 21 such as Aisha. Every time it seemed as if she was ready to leave the guys always knew what to say or do to make her stay. It was crazy that she wanted to be loved so bad that she was willing to put up with the abuse and the cheating. The grass most definitely wasn't greener on the other side once things between Aisha and Dale ended. I would've never guessed Shot would have such an ugly side to him. Only time will reveal a persons true colors. I can't wait for part 2 to see what other misfortunes Aisha had to face that ended with her being in a psychiatric facility. Great one Kristina!!

good book that flowed very well, easy to get into these characters stories, I can't wait for book 2.
