Tess's love in life is soccer. When she finds out that all sports at her school will be cut unless the community votes for a tax levy, Tess will do anything to rally votes. She's even joining forces with a cheerleader to help spread the word and raise funds. Throughout the campaign to save soccer, Tess is playing her heart out on the soccer field and struggling to make passing grades in her classes. This book is good for someone who enjoys soccer and intense friendships.

While fighting to save soccer, Tess still has to focus on her homework and the current soccer season. Will all of Tess' hard work pay off? Or will this be her last season of soccer?

This book was ok. I read it in like two days, so it's a pretty easy read. I'd say it's more for middle schoolers. Although the girl is in middle school and reading to kill a mockingbird when I read that at the end of my junior year in high school so that was kind of weird. I didn't think a middle schooler would even understand it.

Tess is a sports junkie playing soccer, basketball and softball. When the school district threatens to cut sports and busing among other things if a levy doesn't pass, Tess gets involved to try to pass the levy. The book is a great read about her life trying to win her soccer games and pass the levy. Good read for all middle school students.

I feel kind of bad giving this book only two stars, but I have reasons. There were some crude references, and in the middle somewhere it goes too far with immature middle-school boys. As well as the personality of some of the characters. Although for some parts it was spunky and fun, I couldn't finish it.

It was a really great book. If you're a girl that loves sports specifically soccer then this is the one for you or if you don't do sports,but you just like competitions then this the one you've been looking for. It's a pretty short book only about 150 pages so it's not Harry Potter and the order of the Phoniex long
