About the author

Peter James West is a British author who was born and raised in the seaside town of Scarborough, England. After obtaining a first class degree in artificial intelligence, he was married in India and now lives with his wife in London, where the trains break down with the regularity of an atomic clock.

I love this series! If it were not for the spelling and grammatical errors that abound throughout the book, it would have deserved a much higher rating. The mistakes do spoil the book somewhat, as one sometimes has to read a sentence or paragraph several times to make sense of it. There were also one or two scenes that were out of sequence. This is the second book in the Tales of Cinnamon City and it does help to read the first one before reading this. Otherwise, this is a great story and an entirely enjoyable series. I really do look forward to future novels in this series as it is something completely different. It follows the adventures of Commander Henson and her friends, family, foes and mentors through her role as a security agent and some starttling information she hears but refuses to accept. This book moved somewhat slower than the previous one but did lay down some important groundwork for future novels. I would advise the author to do several proof reads before submitting future novels so that it makes for better reading. A revision of this book would also help future readers.
