Chicago Racketeers #1-4

Puck One Night Stands: The Complete Series

Rate this book
I don’t do casual hookups, so I have no idea what to expect when I meet not one, but three hot guys who are into me.

I’m an introverted, failing-book-shop-owning, romance-writer wanna be.

But after my dating disaster at a hockey game—all caught on the jumbotron—I somehow have the attention of three men.

Nathan Armstrong is the hot, older, sophisticated billionaire owner of the team.

Why does this man want a night with me? I’m baffled…but I’m not saying no.

I should also say no to the romantic, suave, brilliant team doctor, Michael Hughes.

And the team’s new hot-shot all-star player Crew McNeill.

But I don’t.

And I’m loving every minute. Especially the minutes they decide we should all spend together. Golden Retriever Crew is all in, bossy, broody Nathan is reluctant (to say the least), and sexy, confident Michael knows what we all need. They’re all here, promising to make every one of my fantasies come true.

And they do. Night after headboard-banging night.

But it can’t last... or can it?

This omnibus collection includes the whole sexy series featuring Dani, Nathan, Crew, and Michael from meet cute to HEA!

DNF at 59%, partway through Seriously Pucked (the third volume).

I mostly enjoyed this low-conflict story -- the writing doesn't bother me, and the wish fulfillment of Dani being doted on all the time was as nice as it should be. Now that I think about it, after the book's initial setup, Dani pretty much stops being her own person, and is just a recipient of the guys' attention. So that's good if you're in the mood for it.

I wasn't enjoying reading it anymore when Dani and Michael went to the conference in Las Vegas. She was uncomfortable, and instead of still trying to be present to support the guy she's sitting next to, she ignored him to text Nathan. Then, when Crew got injured, the most important thing was for HIM to reassure HER. And finally, the whole thing with her not going with Michael when his dad was in the hospital.

I'm sure it all works out, but I no longer want to read it. Dani isn't interesting as her own person, so I don't care about her journey to becoming an adult who can support other people when it's hard for her.

Basic Review

I absolutely loved all four books in this series! Dani, Crew, Nathan, and Michael completely stole my heart. The found family aspect was beautifully done—I loved how they all gravitated toward each other from the very beginning and naturally became a unit. While there’s no MM in the story, the way each man loves Dani in his own unique way, and how they all care for each other as well, was truly something special. The spice? So good. The banter? Even better. Every book had me hooked, and I didn’t want the series to end. Emma Fox nailed it with this one!

I go back to these books constantly so love having them all in one collection now. Emma Foxx started my hockey obsession and I am so glad I randomly stumbled upon this book. I will never not recommend this to anyone who loves reverse harem, banter, hockey, billionaires, sweet/innocent FMC, or let's face it, anyone who enjoys reading should pick this up 🥰
