Rate this book
Chloe Mayfield has found herself in some tight spots before, but a full-on war? That’s new territory for her.

Branded a terrorist and enemy of the United Fairy Commonwealth, she’s under fire from every direction, and there is no shortage of people eager to take advantage of the chaos, including a murderer who stalks the streets of Boston, killing in the name of Blue Moon.

It’s up to Chloe to restore order to her city, and if she can’t do it soon, then she’ll have no choice but to offer up her unconditional surrender. But how can you negotiate a cease fire with a nation that doesn’t actually exist?

Yay Chloe Mayfield is back , she’s my favourite kick ass. My favourite series and this is number six . It wouldn’t matter if it was sixteen , it’d still be fresh and a must read. Such is the writing pairing’s prowess. Is this the tightest spot she’s found herself in ? Will she fall on her ass? She has been branded an enemy of United Fairy Commonwealth. What the actual…there’s another problem that’s high on the agenda when there’s someone going around killing in the Blue Moon name . Can they get to the bottom of this ? Because well this isn’t just wrong but lame! What’s occurring? The Fairies are stirring up trouble but how do you say come get me when you don’t see your enemy and they don’t actually exist…Chloe , I think you’re right love . This one is one mean war. But is she actually fighting THEM for? It’s all action, and hot spots . Where she’s safe and where she’s not until she solves this lot! She’s tied with killing an elderly gent with ties to the Fairy folk but with these glitter bombs being bandied around she’s spent . She didn’t even know the bloke of which they spoke!? Fairies gardens and trees . Chloe get to know your enemies before it’s your demise all because of some cable ties. She enlists her sis as her apprentice . Let’s hope they get the enemy to desist so they can get on with proper Blue Moon business. Writing is brilliant as always. Love the structure and how Justin Hertog along with Steve Higgs write and portray . Each description and many a way to change it up and gear it down . There’s always an anxious frown while reading but their work is so profound and quite frankly sound as a pound! Excellent! bravo! Loved every race of my heart as this awesome story gripped from the very start.

Chloe is involved in a war with the United Fairy Commonwealth and glitter bombs are now part of her everyday life. At the same time she is blamed for killing and elderly man with ties with the fairies, her boss keeps on making every effort to see her out of the corporation and she'll have her sister as an apprentice. Fairy Wars is entertaining, it would make a great movie with all the descriptions of fairies and gardens and trees, it's an easy read, and left me wondering what will come next!
I thank the authors for this ARC.

fairies and bad guys

This book was a culmination of a story that began in previous books. The Boston Blue moon investigation group has had a rough start with Sgt. Mayfield being shuffled to the division because she has made enemies within the department. This doesn’t stop her from fighting crime to the best of her ability. As with the British version of the Blue moon agency, most of the crimes Sgt Mayfield gets assigned as paranormal she proves are actually criminals. I love these books, the author has a way of making a reader not only laugh but imagine the story.

The Magic of Boston
Chloe is fast becoming my favorite Blue Moon offshoot!!!
She doesn't always get everything right, nor does she have superhero powers.
But she's always protecting "her" city and the citizens!!!!
She's Die Hard / Equalizer /one honest police professional and I love her!!!
Keep writing dear authors, Chloe and Boston have a million more tales to tell!!!

Indefinite maze of possibilities

Fairy war is brutal. Glitter was made originally as a weapon. Boston has a never-ending historical story that seems to connect the paranormal to its inception. This story is just another leg os an infinite maze, Chloe is as confused and focused as ever before.

Fairy Wars

I am really enjoying this series. Characters have been developed by now nicely. Good story line. Plenty of action. Strong female lead who doesn’t wimp out or suddenly depend on the closest man to get her out of trouble. Looking forward to the next installment. Recommended.

Wow! Fairies!

Wow, great adventure and what a ride! It's always fun listening to Chloe figure out her next move and how to go about it. She does seem to get hit in the head a lot, but this is fiction. ( I think ?) Anyway, except for the minor typoes, it's always a great read!

Awesome

I didn't think I could get into the fairy thing, but with Sargent Mayfield you roll with it. She really does get herself into some interesting episodes. Great read.

fun read

This was a fun read, and I don’t read much. Cloe is a real pistol and one tough gal. She really has an adventure going.

Is it really paranormal nonsense?
Enquiring minds want to know! I absolutely loved this story! Whilst I'm ever hopeful that there will come a time when Chloe will finally encounter something or someone who falls under the supernatural umbrella, I love how she unerringly holds fast when things not only become dire, but lean towards the unbelievable. Always on the edge of my seat when Chloe Mayfield is on the case! Get her a new car for crying out loud!
