Meanwhile, Nora and Aiden agree to temporarily foster an abandoned puppy—although they agree that with a toddler to take care of, there’s no way they can make the arrangement permanent. But after the adorable puppy wriggles its way into their hearts, will they truly be able to say goodbye?
Cozy winter nights, warm family gatherings, and heartfelt moments abound as a layer of snow blankets Evergreen Hollow, welcoming Christmas with open arms!
The final book of this series brings a satisfactory conclusion to the Stoker family's adventures in Evergreen Hollow. Caroline has a young baby and finds it difficult to help out full-time at the Inn with all her responsibilities at home taking care of Rhett and Jay. Nora decides to foster a puppy now that Maddy is a toddler. The major event is the wedding of Spencer and Margo. There are some very romantic and very funny things happening in this plot line. It was great to see the evolution of each couple in the series. I highly recommend that you read this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. My only complaint is the overuse of the word “gotten.” At first it bothered me because I don’t think my English teacher would’ve approved of it being used at all. It feels too colloquial. But then I kept noticing how often she used it, especially in this last book. And every time I read it, I was thrown out of the story in order to mentally replace the word with a better, English teacher approved, word.
I like the fact that the last book did what most series don’t do; it gave us a glimpse of our favorite characters future. The lost rings were the most “exciting” thing. I have wondered about the son-in-law’s families. The are not mentioned much and Jay never met up with his mom. Thanks for the Mistletoe Inn!!
The series is worth reading as 3 women experience life changes and love. A family grows larger and each member finds love. They realize that love and family make life special and home is where the heart is.
The books pleasantly unfolded the characters and their individual scenarios throughout the series. Very family oriented Christmas series; easy, fun & interesting read. Fiona Baker is a gifted author. I enjoy her books!
This was a very sweet family series to read at Christmas. I enjoyed each character and the love story they represented. A great series full of real life family interactions!Fun to read during the month of December!
Reported several content errors on my Kindle. I’m not sure if the author is writing too many books at once or if too much time lapsed between each book but things from book to book didn’t make sense timeline wise for the characters and their ages.
So good to read about the youngest daughter getting married. This family has been so wonderful to read about. Don’t know how many more in this Series. But will know shortly. Read about this great small town and the people there.
I always the the magic of Christmas and this was just the perfect cozy Christmas romance. The characters are likeable, supportive, and full of family surprises. This is a cozy family Christmas and romance that sure to please all readers. Enjoy
Absolutely 10 plus on Fiona Baker's Evergreen Hollow series. I've read all of them and they are the best! Romance, family and Christmas, what a great treat to read for the holidays.
This was another great book, about the wedding planning, Norwex family getting a puppy, and Carolyn hiring someone to help at the inn so she would have more family time.
