When they met, love was the last thing they were looking to discover…

Local bar owner Cali Tate has always been trendy, easy-going, and impulsive. She isn't afraid to take chances, but her carefree attitude may have put her restaurant in jeopardy. Her failing business is beginning to take a toll on her, both mentally and financially. When her best friend asks her to do a favor and take some books to the town's reclusive professor Cali welcomes the distraction. To her surprise, the sexy professor is nothing like she had pictured him.

Dr. Carter Stavros wants to be left alone. He's set in his ways and doesn't want to be bothered with the outside world. Wanting to escape the demons of his recent past, he moved to Steeple, taking a sabbatical from his teaching job to write a book. He wasn't prepared for the spunky, persistent bar owner to invade his life. But the more she pushes, the more intrigued he becomes.

Neither one of them expected to find any common ground, much less fall in love. What happens when an OCD professor collides with a risk-taking woman who won't take 'no' for an answer?

Oh my gosh this book was FANTASTIC!!!!!!

I loved everything about it.

It's a relatively short read, and Ella impressed me with the way she made me get emotionally invested in the short story as if it were a long one. I even loved the minor characters in this story! That truly speaks to Ella's talent as an author.

Cali was so fun to read about! She's impulsive and makes no apologies for who she is.

Carter is nearly perfect. While I won't ruin anything for those who haven't read this yet, let's just say: smart +hot+sensitive+alpha=Carter

The plot was gripping and I couldn't wait to find out what happened to Cali's business, Carter's career and all of the characters I was introduced to.

HOT doesn't even begin to describe not only the tension between Cali and Carter, but the love scenes as well. READ THIS NEAR A FAN!!!

The ONLY reason I gave this book a 4 was the proofreading issues throughout.

This is a PERFECT beach-read, and I would read it over and over. I will also be reading more by Ella Jade!

"Life is full of surprises."

Meet Cali Tate, owner of a local bar and, shall we say, an eccentric person. She has lived her life her way and mostly on impulse. And like any impulsive decisions, they are not always the wisest choices. But she has her friends, her bar and she is okay with that. She likes to do things her way. She's smart, funky, strong willed, independent, a go-getter. Defiantly someone I can relate with! On impulse one fine day (a day that will change her life forever), she offers to help out her friend to deliver some books to the local recluse, Dr. Carter Stavros.

Meet Carter Stavros, a man recently moved to Steeple trying to run and hide from something in his past. This of course has its own set of problems, but he likes things done and handled a certain way. Major OCD issues there. And let not forget, a 10 on the hotness scale! And loves to use big words; well he is a doctor that graduated from Harvard and working at Dartmouth! The last thing a guy like Carter needs is someone like Cali intruding into his life, but that is exactly what she does!

So their first meeting doesn't go so well, but Cali is intrigued and has set out to get to know Carter better. However, little does she know, Carter is just as intrigued in her. Their first couple of encounters are very sexual charged, and really who can blame them! Although they have a physical attraction that cannot be denied, they more time they spend getting to know each other, everything else just feels right. Cali breaks down Carter's walls and he lets her into his heart. They are great together and for each other; they needed each other!

But alas, like all great love stories, someone always has to plant the seed of doubt. Cali, thinking that she is doing what is best, decides to leave Carter and help him see how much he is giving up by staying with her. Luckily for us thou, Carter is smarter then your average joe! He is able to reach her and tell her that his staying isn't just because of her, he has weighed his options. Being in Steeple with her is better then anything else the world has to offer and if a great offer should come calling, then they will discuss it together because being together is far better then being apart.

What a great story and second book in the Steeple Town series. Ella's words flow eloquently and this story as all the elements you look for in an Ella Jade book... sexy, intriguing, stimulating, riveting, captivating! Love was most defiantly discovered with this book. Thank you Ella!!

Sarah's Review:
Thank you to Beachwalk Press for reaching out for a review. I read the first in this series a while ago, so I have been waiting patiently for the other girls to get their story. There is something about this series that drew me in and I look forward to the next one as soon as possible.

Cali is probably one of my favorite female characters that I have read by Ella Jade in a while. Her spunk and her carefree attitude is something that I admire in a character. It is the complete opposite of who I am and I think that is why I like those characters best. She is spunky and chaotic, but she knows who she is.
Carter, oh dear sweet Carter, was knocked on his proverbial butt when Cali shows up to bring books that his research assistant was supposed to bring him. He wasn't expecting Cali but he also wasn't expecting to want to know more about Cali either.

The old saying "opposites attract" fits with these two characters, but that is what makes it so much better. They bring out the best in each other and can work through their differences. I can't wait to see future tidbits from these two!

Adri's Review:

Like Sarah, I was curious about the other two girls after reading the first book and couldn't wait until Cali's story came out. And let me tell you it was completely worth the wait.

Cali is a strong, confident and proud character. She isn't shy about going after the things she wants or to speak her mind. She isn't afraid to ask for help or offer it when it is needed. She is a very strong character and that is what makes me like her so much.

Carter I want to hug. He has been through so much in a very short time. To find that the people you love and trusted hurt you is a big blow to him. But what I enjoyed about him is that he is willing to open himself up to love once more after meeting Cali. He shows her that even though he has his quirks he wants to do things for her and is willing to change.

I think this is a great read, but I think with it being summer now and so many heading to the beach, it sets you up for the perfect scenery in the story. Much of the story does take place in a beach town and during the summer, so you can see why I think its a great beach read... Sit out in the sun with your e-reader and just relax getting lost in everything that happens in Steeple Town.

Happy Reading... Adri

I've been a fan of Ella Jade's writing ever since I read A Love Stolen a couple summers ago. So, I was thrilled to learn she was finally able to write the second in this series. I jumped at a chance to review the book and I gobbled it up. :) The concept just screams a great read: a sassy bar owner discovers love with a sexy, domineering professor. Oh yes, I was in.

A Love Discovered starts out fun. Cali Tate is a hoot. I loved how she pushed Carter's buttons. The story moves into sexual tension land next. Wow, Carter sure knows how to turn up the heat, so yummy! It's easy to see these two falling in love with each other, but I feared issues on either side could unravel everything. Queue the nail biting and page turning. :)

Ella Jade had me guessing right to the end how it would all work out. You'll need to read a Love Discovered to see how she does it. Excellent steamy read. 5-Stars. I definitely recommend this book to those that enjoy contemporary erotic romance.

A Love Discovered is a journey of second chances and life and letting go of a troubled past. Cali is a bar owner, having purchased Tate’s from her father. She has been struggling to keep it afloat for two years and is on the brink of losing everything. Carter is a professor who is known as the town recluse. Cali is everything that Carter is not and together they push each other to their limits. Carter is hiding behind decisions in his past that he blames entirely on himself. Cali is just what is needed to bring him out of his shell. I loved the banter between Cali and Carter and they were explosive together. I was heartbroken when Carter revealed his past but was so happy to see the way Cali put him back together. It was nice to also see the characters from book one and see how they have grown. Thank you for another wonderful story.

I couldn’t put this book down. I finished it in a day or so. Talk about an opposites attract story. There was just something so captivating about the uptight, OCD, controlling professor being undone by the carefree, happy-go-lucky bar owner. And… vice versa… the easy-going bar owner gaining maturity and control of her life with the growing relationship with the established professor. I loved that while you are reading and thinking… oh there is no way the straight laced recluse and the tattoed bad girl would work… the characters are thinking the same thing. The challenge and ups and downs of the whole thing just really kept me reading. Every time I would get to the end of a chapter I’d say “oh… just one more chapter”. It was an addicting story.

I enjoyed book one, A Love Stolen, in the Steeple Town Series very much, but I absolutelty loved book 2, A love Discovered! When you meet Cali in A Love Stolen, you know she goes to the beat of her own drum, so I was very interested to see where her own book would take her.

Cali & Carter are the perfect compliment to each other as a couple. She is wild and outgoing with a 'devil may care' attitude and he is refined and a bit of a recluse with a very cautious way of looking at life. Together they help bring out the best in each other.

Another fantastic story from the mind of Ella Jade! A Love Discovered was a fun, sassy, sexy read and I cannot wait to see what is next for the little town of Steeple.

I adored this one. It was so sweet and sexy and emotional at times. It was a really fast read. Not all that long of a book but it didn't make me feel left wanting.

Carter is so sexy and dominating in a good way. I love how he just has to have control. Cali is the complete opposite. She's very much a free spirit and impulsive. They just work very well together.

I look forward to reading the rest in this series. You don't have to read the first to read this one. It can be read as a standalone very well. But its very well written so I want to read the rest.

This was a super sweet story. I love the slight dominant natur of Dr. Stavros. The quirky, stubborn yet submissive Cali. These two are complete opposites but make for a hot steamy sexy story! I couldn't put this book down and finished it in 1 sitting. I think I need to go back and read the first one in this series!!

I loved Cali she was great. Her easy go lucky attitude made her very intriguing and interesting from the start. Then there is the stuffy Carter. I at first didn't like him or think they messed well with each other, but Carter surprised me and with Cali's help he did a complete 180. I loved their story .
