wow

I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this and I’m so glad I did! If you are fascinated by NLP, law of attraction, Tibetan Buddhism, or really just about any form of mindset practice, this is a great resource. I love what the author put together, and so much of it was unique.

Immensely Fun – Immensely Profound

Before I comment on this surprisingly fun and provocative read, I must clarify my inherent bias as the editor of a profound series on consciousness/existence/bliss that deals with the same issues on a high-brow level. The message in Error is equally profound, even though Stanislav Stodulka’s treatment targets a more general audience and is especially perfect for those encountering the subject for the first time, as long as we emphasize that it is immensely profound. The book’s subtitles are vital for understanding its contents: The Hidden Programs of the Human Body - Master Your Mind, Break Free from Autopilot, and Redefine Conscious Living. Such self-help attributions, while accurate, do little to convey how incredibly fun the author makes this whole process.

What sets Error (with its long subtitles) apart from other books written in the same vein is the spotlight Stanislav Stodulka shines on those perceived program errors. That is, they are not errors at all. They need not be fixed at a fundamental level. They exist for a specific and vital purpose: to help the body survive, develop, and prosper. The problem arises from our responses or lack thereof, turning the spotlight from the so-called errors to their active subjects - ourselves. This is where the immense profundity comes in because now we must consider the ultimate existential question: Who am I? While that may seem too philosophical for a presumed self-help book, it remains the key element for doing what the subtitles promise. One can almost hear the author proclaiming, “Gotcha!” Still, that does not diminish the fun one iota, while a final leap for consciousness would have nailed the landing.

The premise of 'ERROR: The Hidden Programs of the Human Body - Master Your Mind, Break Free from Autopilot, and Redefine Conscious Living' intrigued me, but this book is not quite what I was expecting. Nor did I expect it to be so helpful as I found out after I started reading it that my husband had been having an affair for over three months, and we have now separated.

It is so difficult to understand how he could do that to me as he has always been extremely judgmental of cheating and things were good, or so he was telling me, at the point when it started. Now he says, he stopped trying after this other woman hit on him. He gave into temptation bit by bit and justified it to himself the whole way until the oxytocin kicked in and he fell out of love with me and started to feel like he was cheating on her. He now knows how many of those justifications were false because of my reaction and how badly I've been affected by his lies and the way he has treated me, but the damage is done for both of us.

This book has helped me better understand his behaviour and also accept that I need to move on. It's still hard, but I'm grateful I picked this book up when I did. I knew something was wrong and I need to learn to trust myself more.

Acceptance is hard, I've been angry and hurt and grieving, and I find myself wanting to stay in my comfort zone even though I 100% know I will be better off once the dust settles, the house is sold, and I can properly move on. I just need to listen to the rational part of my brain and keep focusing on what I need to do to move on and not get bogged down with things I can't change.

Stanislav Stodulka’s ERROR offers a fresh look at the “programming” that often dictates our lives without us even realizing it. Blending psychology with practical exercises, Stodulka guides readers to become more aware of the subconscious patterns that shape our thoughts, habits, and relationships. From tackling cravings and managing repetitive thoughts to exploring why we attract certain relationship dynamics, this book dives deep into the “autopilot” tendencies of our mind and body and shows how we can begin to take control.

One of the most intriguing aspects of ERROR is its breakdown of how these hidden programs impact our daily lives, from health choices to parenting to personal growth. Stodulka uses relatable stories and metaphors to illustrate how we unconsciously respond to our environments, often influenced by ancient survival instincts that may no longer serve us. His approach encourages readers to step back and examine how these automatic responses affect their happiness and sense of purpose.

While some parts of the book may feel a bit “lost in translation,” the insights remain powerful and accessible. For anyone looking to step off the hamster wheel of habitual thoughts and actions, this book provides a practical toolkit to help you break free and start living more intentionally.

The human body and its ‘programming’ (not dissimilar to how a computer operates) is the subject of Stanislav Stodulka’s book ERROR.This to be frank is the first book I have read which boils down a human being into a computer like state and was a fun and engaging read throughout.

It is always fascinating to wonder why we do certain things and by breaking down the function and comparing it to a computerised task, this book lays things out in a different way. It focuses on the day to day things, such as hunger, cravings, and sleep, before moving on to things like work, raising children, and relationships. It is thought-provoking and unique, a quick read unlike anything I have read before.

I think that some of the text felt a little too philosophical on occasion, but that is a preference of mine. I would have liked these sections to be condensed a little as they got a little deep. But the comparisons still made an impact and landed well, so I really did enjoy this book.

a welcome guide to breaking the cycle of subconscious programming

“ERROR” by Stanislav Stodulka is a comprehensive 270-page exploration of the subconscious programming that influences human behavior, and its potentially detrimental effects on health, relationships, and overall well-being.. Stodulka’s work picks apart these autonomous patterns so that his readers can understand them, and perhaps reframe their own thinking to prevent their subconscious programming from leading them towards unhelpful (or even destructive) outcomes. This empowering guide should prove to be very beneficial to any readers who are open to developing a renewed awareness of the hidden mechanisms that may be controlling their lives, so that they can perhaps break the unhealthy cycle of ingrained behaviors and achieve greater personal growth.
