Emily wasn't interested in reliving the heartache of the past. How could she trust his words again, when they once shattered the future she had imagined?
Emily Falling for my brother’s best friend wasn’t in the plan. I only meant to write him, but with every reply, I saw the man behind the words. We were building a future until his last letter demolished the illusion. He accused me of living a little girl’s fantasy, killing any hope I had that it was real. I moved on, or tried to, but when I visit my brother for Christmas, Zook is determined to make amends. This time, words won’t be enough. He’ll have to prove it.
Zook I crushed her heart with my last letter. I wasn’t worthy, convinced she deserved someone who could offer her more. Telling myself she’d move on was the only way to let her go. Now she’s walked into the clubhouse, and I can’t deny it anymore. It was never over. She’d always been the one for me, and I was determined to make her see that we belonged together.
Read now to enjoy a jolly good time celebrating Christmas with the Iron Shield Motorcycle Club.
Unveiled Wishes is book 2 in the Iron Shield MC series. It's a short and steamy, second-chance, girl gets her brother's best friend Christmas romance. I love everything J.Wine writes, and this did not disappoint. It's definitely more light-hearted than the last story. The main couple is Emily and Zook. Emily is Eric's, aka "How" younger sister. Tyler, aka "Zook," is How's best friend. They served in the military together, where Emily wrote them both. She was talking about the future, and then he broke things off with her, crushing her. Now, she is coming to visit Eric for Christmas, and Zook is determined to grovel and win her back. In addition to the main couple we see faves Grace and Sabre with JR. Meredith is still witchy to Griz. Pretty and Wreck are still figuring out things. I just love Pretty and want him happy, I can't wait for more of their story . We also see some possible new couples. Get ready for great chemistry, love, and drama. I loved it!!.

It's holiday season at the Iron Shield MC and one of the members has his sister coming for the holiday, his best friend Zook is met with mixed emotions about it though. Years ago Zook and Emily formed a kinship and when Zook left for his time in the service they became pen pals until feelings got more complicated. Zook knew that Emily had her whole life ahead of her and wanted more for her so he bluntly cut off communication.
Now he has a second chance, but Emily has her own life and what could she possibly want with a biker. He couldn't be more wrong though Emily wants Zook and a second chance. Can they finally acknowledge their feelings and find their happily ever after?
Great second chance romance book. Zook I think was really hard on himself, but given his background you get it. Emily was not quite what I expected and she was even better than the synopsis sounded. Entertaining holiday read.
This is the second book in the Iron Shield MC series and it was definitely a change of pace from the first book. This book focused more on the characters and their way of coping and moving forwards after the events of the first book. While we still have unanswered questions in regard to the cartel, we do get to see the club try and out a positive spin on the holidays. I enjoyed getting more of an insight to the clubs relationships and it warmed my heart that Grace wants to host a party to show the club that they are cared for and important. We also get Zook and Emily’s second chance story and it was cute! I like that it’s realistic in certain parts more specifically Meredith’s situation and Grizz looking after her without giving up. Overall, super sweet story but I’m definitely looking forward to the next story where I’m hoping we’ll get a resolution with the cartel situation 🤞🏽
4.5 stars Loved every minute of it and can’t wait for more.
They fell in love with their words to each other when Tyler aka Zook was serving in the military with Emily’s brother Eric aka How. She would write to him and her brother but his words made her dream and vice versa until she talked about their future did he get scared and broke her through words. Now years later his has to either apologize or disappear because little sister is coming to visit her brother. Pretty is wrecked over Wreck… Grace was gifted with something she wanted for Christmas… Grizz is trying with Mer to heal and try to get the club’s backing her but she’s not making life easy… How is blissfully approving of his best friend with Emily and the club might have an ally….

A great Christmas themed follow on from Unveiled Desires
This was a really enjoyable read, technically it is the story of a new couple Zook and Emily and their second chance together, they are perfect together. However, it also has a range of chapters from the point of view of others in the MC family, is also a continuation of Grace and Sabre's story from Unveiled Desires, and most likely (based on content!) shows some future pairings who I am looking forward to.
I am not usually a fan of a book including many points of view, however it really worked in this instance.
It was a sweet and funny read, mostly light, though there is reference to, and the lingering risk from the darker happenings from the previous book.

This is a great short story that is bring all the characters from Unveiled Desires back. This a continuation of several couples and is also including some new love interests for the boys. Merideth and Grizz are working thur their thing and finally talking and toning down the bickering . Pretty and Wreck are still playing in the sexual waters, but are starting also to come to an understanding. Aunt E and the guys are learning to let their guards down and starting to enjoy life, and then there is Zook,How, and Em. They have been friends for ever and Zook and Em have had an innocent attraction to each other, but they both were leary because of How and didn’t want to cause problems. They are now adults(more or less) and are willing to take a chance on eachother with How’s blessing.the Christmas season always brings the family together and this no different this time .
The last book was so messy, I had hoped this one wouldn't be as bad, but holy cow...these characters are all messy! The only one I'm giving a pass to is Aunt E, who's issue is more health problems stemming from the last book. Meredith is so far into her own head, she's could loose Grizz. I have to give it to him for sticking around, for trying to pull Meredith back despite the crap he takes from the club. Then there is Pretty and Wreck, these two are so messy, really wish we could see what the bottom issue is for Wreck, he's also close to loosing it all. At least Emily and Zook were slightly more normal in their mess. Zook quickly took things in hand and let Emily know he knew he messed up and did what he could to show her he changed. It was nice to see how things ended for them.
DUDE lol okay so this was adorable. The first story was intense. A lot had happened in it (chaos of course) so for this one to come in and just give warm and cozy feels - 😍 I loved it. You see POVs from so many of the characters in this series. Looking forward to reading the next one and honestly just seeing where how everyone's love story comes out because I just want these people to be happy 🥺 they are such a cute and fun family who cares about each other.
I’ve waited for this to be released and so glad I got to read it. I read the first book through recommendation and so glad I did i loved Sabre and Grace and I loved this book even more because we got to hear everyone’s stories although I’m still not a fan of Meredith because of how she acts like I know she went through stuff but still the way she treated grizz I hate. I also love pretty and want more of his story but loved meeting Zook and Em in this one

Emily and Zook share a relationship through letters one that had promise until he ripped her heart out with his last letter. Zook felt that he was unworthy of Emily, and she deserved better. Now she is at the MC visiting her brother and Zook sees his chance to prove to her that they should be together. Will Emily accept him back into her heart and get a second chance for love.

This book is another installment in the Iron Shield MC series and now we have Zook’s story. Zook was stationed with Emily’s brother so when she wrote she and Zook formed a relationship that Emily couldn’t be happier with. Then Zook broke her heart thinking that she deserved so much better than him.
When she comes to the clubhouse to visit her brother Zook is determined to make Emily his. I can’t wait to see what comes next from this series.
A short festive second chance story from the Iron Shields, this is primarily Emily and Zook's book, but we do see lots from the other characters we've come to know and love.
Emily is How's sister and Zook's best friend. Emily and Zook have history, but Zook never felt he was good enough, so he broke her heart, but now she's coming to the clubhouse for Christmas and it's Zook's chance to make amends, but does Emily still feel the same?
Loved this visit back to Iron Shield MC! The journey for Zook and Emily was years in the making and left me with all the feels. The updates from the characters we already know and love and how they become a new family unit was just icing on this delicious MC cake! Can’t wait for more – I know there are some characters who need their own book!
I love this author books. This was a great Christmas story, I can't wait for the rest of the motorcycle club to be written. All her characters are strong marshmallows in the nicest way. They'll do anything for their women no cheating no third part break up just a great storyline that makes you look forward to more books.

It's weird how this series is written. You have multiple POV going on at once, even though it's pretty much the same story line. It's hard to keep track her and there. How's sister comes back to visit him and Zook. Christmas is celebrated, Wreck and Pretty have trouble, and Thunder and Liz seem to be building. There's more but ya know.
I’ve truly enjoyed J Wine’s writing. She includes every character to make them seem like the main one. I need Pretty and his man to get it together though because it’s irritating me. I loved the Christmas story and had so many parts I couldn’t stop laughing at. Waiting for book 3 is gonna take forever- I need it now!
This series is super cute the first one had some spice this one not so much, I will say though that I’d prefer it be one long book vrs several small ones but that’s just me and I’d also prefer more spice but again just me lol it’s still a good cute book.
I enjoyed this one. The characters were captivating and fun to read. I enjoyed the plot and the shenanigans of the MC members and their significant others. I liked how the MC members and their significant others supported each other. Highly recommend enjoying this book and the series.
I loved this Christmas short story. Getting to know some of the characters that were briefly mentioned in book 1 was great. Getting to know the deeper relationships with Wreck and Pretty and Zook and Emily was amazing. There was some spice that was *chef’s kiss*. Can’t wait to dive into book 3! 4.5/5 stars!
Unveiled Wishes is another absolutely fantastic read from this author! I love that we get something from all of the characters and we're able to get swept into their chaotic, exciting, dramatic, intense world and they refuse to let go. I can't wait for Unveiled Wounds!
I was definitely excited for Zook and Emily's story. Unveiled Wishes definitely had less drama and twists than the first book, but it was needed for the club. Zook had decent character development, while Emily didn't seem to change much. I am not so patiently waiting to see what is next!
I love this series so much. Sabre runs a great bunch of guys. The banter is hilarious. The loyalty is everything. They love hard. I couldn't put it down. I can't wait for more.
We take off from Book one. But it's Christmas time and Flo is planning an old fashion Christmas. Aunt E is recovering slowly with Thunder help. Zook claims How sister and Pretty and Wrath is at odds. Looking forward to Meredith book.
Worse than the first one somehow this plot surrounded three couples and everything that happened was boring. The only couple I really cared about was pretty and wreck and they had maybe 3 pages everything was about Emily and Zook and they were so incredibly painfully boring.
This book is about the Iron Shield MC. In order to understand it, one has to read the first book. The interesting thing here is telling several stories around it. It is a new way to read but I thought it turned all right. It is not a rambling of the same story over and over.
I loved this book so much!!! I loved getting to see into everyone's povs and catching up with everyone and it is done so seamlessly that your never confused on what's going on!! I loved this!!
It was great to catch up with all the other characters but it was fun to learn about Zook and Emily’s story. Read to find out what went wrong between them and what happens when How, his best friend and her brother finds out what happened. This was a fun little read!
