About the author

Jeffrey Marks lives between many different worlds. His first book “Your Magical Soul: How Science and Psychic Phenomena Paint a New Picture of the Self and Reality” consolidated his decades of research into findings recorded by consciousness researchers, quantum physicists, and his own right-brain psychic experiences into a modern-day experiential portrait of each individual’s soul. The book won the Silver Award in the Nautilus Book Awards. His second book, “The Afterlife Interviews: Volume I” took his work as a professional evidential spiritual medium and married it to his left-brain research studies to create a compendium of answers delivered by spirit communicators about what life was really like on the Other Side. A very enjoyable and informative read.

I found this book both illuminating and comforting. After years of inner and outer searching and wondering, I finally found an explanation of what happens to violent/evil souls. I won't do a spoiler about it, but I encourage you to read that chapter carefully- it will blow your mind.
Also good are the chapters on afterlife "careers" and pastimes (ex: we get to eat without gaining weight-- awesome!). Religion and God are dealt with in detail. Wonderful book! I took away one star just because I think it needs just a little more in the way of specific experiences as well as the general descriptions of the afterlife. Of course there are many specifics mentioned by the souls the author got in touch with, but I am hungry for more. Otherwise, perfect reading!
