Welcome to the Sexy as Sin series, where badass female athletes don't mind working up a good sweat on or off the field.
Levi Daniels has got the fastest legs in all of college football, and even as a Junior at NMU, Northern Michigan University, he’s being looked at. Granted, his father being an NFL star doesn’t help. His good looks, his sweet charm, his amazing ability, and his last name, are drawing not just eyes for an early draft, but unwanted eyes from the females who want their ten minutes of fame off his back.
Juliana Watts is the only daughter, and sister, of five males! She grew up rough housing it with the best of them and knew sports like the back of her hand. Her father made it a point to catch a ball with all five of his kids, and just because she was a girl, didn’t mean she lucked out. Where did that leave her? An amazing quarterback with great accuracy and a hell of a throw. That also left her frowned upon for being a female in all-male sport.
Now, she’s got the chance to show the world what she’s made of as a college coach is putting her on the team. She has no problem with it. Her soon-to-be teammates, might. After the first interaction, though, she’s drawn to the man who stood up for her, but she doesn’t have time for a relationship.
Especially not one he is offering. A fake one to help her, but to curb the ladies trying to bother him. Simple rule, no love is allowed anywhere, on or off the field, if she says yes.
3.5 stars. I enjoyed Love You to the End Zone. I liked both Julianna and Levi. I think they had great chemistry and enjoyed seeing how their relationship progressed. I liked Levi and loved how much he enjoyed astronomy and school in general- you could tell that’s what he was meant to do. The way Julianna was portrayed was so well done. How she was tough but also passionate about her sport and stood up for those she cared about. I loved that she was so good at her sport and set out to do the best she could every time she went out on the field. I liked seeing how the relationships between her and the other guys on the football team changed. I loved Julianna’s family and her interactions with them.
Title: Love You To The End Zone Author: Theresa Lamb Format: ebook Genre: Romance, Fake Dating, sports (football), female athlete Standalone: yes Part of a Series: Part of the Sexy As Sin Series - A multi-author series POV: Levi, Julianna Steam Level: slow burn to steamy 4/5
I ripped through Love You to the End Zone. I enjoyed that multiple tropes got thrown on their heads. I loved Levi and Julianna. I also love that this book/series exists to give female athletes the chance to see themselves in a character. I also loved the depth of Julianna - her multiple layers.
I received an advanced copy of this book for free. This is my honest and voluntary review.
I really enjoy reading sports romance and this one did not disappoint. It’s a real heartwarming love story that you’ll want to finish in one go.
I love how the FMC, Juliana, is the star football player in the all male team and is so strong to take all the sh*t that’s thrown at her for being the only female on the team. She’s such a badass! The MMC Levi turns out to be not your normal jock and when they get together, they see sides to each other that not many people see and that just makes their relationship all the more stronger.
AMAZING!! I could not put this book down! It has great plot, spice, characters, and everything in between. College setting. Team mates. What starts as fake dating very quickly turns into more. Everything is written so perfectly and was so hard not to eat it all up at once.
I’m not kidding when I say that I downloaded it and immediately started reading it. Didn’t stop reading it and read the entire book in one sitting. It’s not super long but definitely worth the time.
Love You to the End Zone is part of the multi-author series Sexy as Sin that all have athletic female characters.
In this one, Juliana transfer to be the new starting quarterback on a college football team. The team at first seemed against her playing expect Levi accepted her from the beginning.
I liked how the team went from not wanting a female QB to having her back during games.
This novella was a fun read. I liked reading Theresa Lambe novellas for a break from larger books.
This was a great sports novella that had me intrigued right away. I love how these two connected right away and fell hard for one another. I enjoyed the bit of drama, spice, deep emotions all of it made this read a great one
This is a great quick read. I love the dynamic of a female quarterback in a mostly male sport. Levi is a sweetheart, I enjoyed how he was protective and her biggest cheering squad. Julianna is a bada$$ and isn't against standing up for herself and others she cares about.
Short novella but it was cute. It's a small relief having a male lead who still has their v card. I loved how bad @$$ Juliana is, how she didn't take no 💩 from anyone. Even stood up for her man. 🥰💚
Love You To The End Zone was such a good, quick read. I fell for the characters right away mainly because they are not what you would expect for a football team. Juliana is the star quarterback of the team and it just goes to show that women can do whatever men can do.
This was the 19th book in the Sexy as Sin series by Theresa Lambe and I am going to be going back and reading the others.
I want to mention that while there is no real OWD there are two separate occasions were OW comes up to MMC and kisses him. (He’s in shocked when that happens) there’s also some scenes of OW touching and flirting with him.(he’s uncomfortable in that situation) The MMC is not interested in OW, just the FMC.
College Football Romance Female Quarterback Virgin MMC Fake Dating No OWD/OMD No Cheating/Sharing/Third Act Break Up Close Proximity Dual POV (1st Person) HFN
Nice story, great characters but poor execution. Typos, incorrect words “you’re” instead of “your” multiple times; “taunt peak” instead of “taut peak” to list a few. There are grammar and spelling ck programs an indie author can use. Too many times errors like this totally ruin a book for me.
Loved this! It's a short & quick read; this is Levi & Juliana's story. She's the new quarterback & obviously some people have an issue with it. Her & Levi come up with a fake dating plan that soon turns into more. I loved the story & the spice. Recommend this novella & author!
This was a great sports novella that pulled you in from the start. I loved that the MFC Juliana was a quarterback. How cool is that! And Levi, the MMC, didn't disappoint. He was the sexy team player who was there to support her all the way.
