Fate always finds a way.

This power needs only to be awakened. In the Hadden Coven, he will find a new home. In the arms of his beloved, Conrad Smith, he will find a love and understanding he has never known.
He will need this new love and this new community to help him awaken and empower what is within.

This was book 24 in the "Pittsburgh Vampires" series. Master Hadden has finally found a charmer to help him get rid of the hex cast on the Hadden Center. Conrad Smith, is one of Niks personal guards so he goes with him to pick up the charmer only when they get their the man doesn't want him to take the one he wants turns out Evan McCormick is his beloved. Evan has been abused by his family his whole life and Manfred the house servant is his main abuser. Conrad can't believe his luck he has found his beloved but he is worried Evan has never been trained he was told that his magic wasn't any good that's why he has to wear a bracelet to contain it. Turns out after some training Even is more powerful than they thought and just what they needed. Manfred who refuse to let go of Even knew he was powerful and tries to take him. This was a really good read. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
At last help for the hex that took over the property of Haddon coven a few books back. A disgruntled coven member brought a great darkness to the ,coven and that evil was spreading throughout Pittsburgh. Only a Charmer could remove this strong hex and finding one has proven to be difficult. They get a lead on a young man that is abused by his family for being different. He comes into his own with training and a beloved. A very good HEA, another paranormal addition to the coven and a bright future for the coven and the city.
I really like this series. The author is imaginative and the storyline very engaging. My only issue is the lack of effort put into the romances and the shortness of the books. Given the length of the books anything over £2.50/£3 is exorbitant. Ive stopped reading the DuCane coven books because they are so poorly plotted, short and expensive. The author is getting lazy and I resent paying for chapters rather than a proper book. Having said that this book was okay. It lacked tension at the end but was still an enjoyable read.
One of the best books in the series. Evan is a magic tasked with saving the Hadden Coven. The story unfolds as Evan unleashes his full potential and falls in love with the vampire Conrad. This is a story of finding your inner strength and how the power of love can transform a person. There are some punctuation issues, but the story is so beautiful, I still think it deserves 5 stars.
I have no idea why, but time and time again I am drawn back to a Ba Stretke novella. They are constructed with basic plots and simple characters around a fated mate. The language used and the writing style reminds me of the old gothic novels of the 1800s and reading them gives me that curled up in a blanket feel. Ah well - just go with the flow.
Once again B A Strike adds to the continuing fabric of the Pittsburgh Vampire Series. This book continues the storyline covering the evil that Nathan released upon the Coven.
B. A. has lost his touch! Don’t bother getting book 23 or 24, they are very predictable and boring. I loved this series and I will it read again. It’s time to start something new and fresh
A great fast read, good story line and anew character to join the coven splendidly. The shifter was interesting and well developed character. Classic BA. Welcome back love it.
