Cary
Sex, blood, and rock and roll, that's what life is truly about. Living and dying in excess, then coming back as one of the undead to continue the debauchery. If I thought that life was worth living before, God was I wrong. Since coming back from the dead at the hands of my best friend Heaven, things have only gotten better. I'm no longer sick, the cancer is gone, and I can breathe again. It's fucking fantastic.
I spend my days sleeping like the dead, and my nights hunting, killing, and performing for thousands of screaming fans. It's a poor little boy's dream come true. Only one thing is missing, and as I careen through my afterlife alone it weighs on me. The devil that I am is lonely and craving the type of connection I see between my bandmates and all their women. I wonder, if that hot piece of ass with the blue hair I've been sneaking around with will turn into something. Do I want it to?

Serena
A fuck up. I've always been one. The choice I made to follow my wet pussy instead of my head has come back to bite me in the ass more times than one. But as often as I've done some really stupid shit, I think I've done some good too, just not intentionally. Making Lucian of Screaming Fyre a vampire and changing the band's trajectory in this world was probably the worst, and yet best moment all wrapped up in one.
Never did I expect that my obsession with the band, and almost breaking them apart would bring me to an affair with the man of my dreams, Cary Winters, their lead singer and the sexiest man not alive. I should be ecstatic, but again bad decisions take somethign good in my life and make it a mess. Thisk time though theres more on the line than just my life. Can I make it right before my betrayal forces me to hell?

This book was an absolutely wild ride equal parts seductive, emotional, and unapologetically dark. Cary and Serena’s dual POV pulled me straight into a world overflowing with blood, sex, music, and supernatural messiness, and I loved every minute of it.
Cary is the kind of character who shouldn’t be lovable vampire rock star, emotionally reckless, and fueled by excess but somehow the author makes you root for him. His rebirth from cancer-ridden mortal to immortal frontman is both tragic and exhilarating, and his loneliness beneath all the hedonism adds a depth I didn’t expect.
Serena, on the other hand, is a beautiful disaster in the most compelling way. Her blend of guilt, desire, self-sabotage, and determination made her chapters incredibly raw and honest. She’s flawed, self-aware, and constantly battling the consequences of her own choices, which made her feel real.
Together, their chemistry is explosive equal parts passion, danger, and heartbreak. Their connection drives the story forward with tension you can practically taste.
The worldbuilding is sharp, the pacing quick, and the writing balances grit with emotion perfectly. The band dynamics, the supernatural elements, and the spiraling relationships all come together to create a story that feels like watching a backstage documentary of the undead.
If you love morally gray characters, intense romance, supernatural chaos, and rock-and-roll energy, this book delivers hard. I couldn’t put it down.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it it again. She’s hands down one of the best authors I’ve come across, she’s beyond talented. To me this is the best book of the series, the description of the spice scenes, of the gore, of it all was riveting. I couldn’t put this book down for a minute. I was hooked from start to finish. The story of Cary and Serena was a beautifully twisted messed up Irony. Can’t wait to read more of her work.

Well f@ck me sideways that was beyond awesome!!

I absolutely adore Cary! His torment and the way he battles within himself - my heart hurts for him.
Serena definitely redeemed herself.
I’m so glad the Devil himself got his happy ending and the brutality of it was beyond fitting!

Cary is definitely my favorite character from the Screaming Fyre Series - he holds a special place for sure!♥️

Outstanding ending to the series.
It was an awesome story line of so much sex, blood and rock & roll.
I’m a big fan of Linda’s work and this book really did throw me through the wringer a bit.
Seeing what Cary and Sareena went through and the length he went to free her of her maker was extreme.
The deep connection between Cary and Sareena was forged in such a dramatic scene, hot as hell!
