I got this book and couldn't put down. It's action packed and had me in the edge of my seat. You will fall in love with the characters. I highly recommend this book!! Jerrie Alexander has done it again. Never been disappointed with her work!

This was the first time I've read one of the author's books and am pleased to say I enjoyed every moment of it. The story was captivating from page one. It was fast paced and engaging all the way through. The plot kept you on the edge of your seat. The pictures she paints with her imagery throughout the entire book is truly masterful. The characters are easy to root for and easy to believe in. They characters have such chemistry it's a wonder the pages didn't actually sizzle when they got together. This author has easily become one of my top 10 favorite romance authors and I cannot wait to read more of her work.

Oh I so want my very own Logan Ford! I am such a sucker for hot cops and Logan delivers! He's a dominating presence that completely loves his best friend's sister. Elle Reagan is a strong, no-nonsense woman who takes no crap from anyone, especially not Logan or her brother, Eric. She investigates a con man who swindled her grandmother and is determined to get the money back. Even though Logan was asked to protect her from danger he can't protect her from his feelings for her. Good thing Elle is a smart woman who knows she doesn't want or need to be protected from his feelings because hers are the same for him.
I'm moving into Castle Alainn forever!

Elle is on the hunt for the slime that cheated her grandmother out of her life savings. She enters a competition to win a getaway at a remote resort when she learns the swindler is going to be there. She makes a promise to herself that she's not leaving until she has solid evidence of the crooked schemes. There is just one large, muscled, sexy wrinkle in her plan - her brother's best friend Logan Ford.
Logan was dispatched to Colorado by Elle's brother Eric to keep her out of trouble. But he's just landed himself in trouble cos Elle is a sexy little package that he has tried to ignore for too long. He knew Eric would never be happy with whoever Elle settled down with, especially not if it was him!! When he catches her in the act, trying to access documents, he decides to help her catch the con-man rather than convince her to go home. And after posing as the other winner of the competition, and thereby sharing the same suite as Elle, he may just find himself getting up close and personal with her!
This book was a terrific start to a new series of books, Noble Pass Affaire novels. Elle and Logan are both fighting a decades old attraction to each other,neither wanting to hurt each other or Eric. Elle is a spunky spitfire, who seems to always bite off more than she can chew. She throws herself into everything she does, including the hunt for those responsible for her grandmothers predicament. Logan is a lovable, affable cop, who has taken the warning from Eric about messing with his sister to heart. But the close quarters they share leads to more intimacy than he planned for and it's lovely seeing the chinks in his armour and resolve appearing.
There is a superb mix of action/adventure and suspense with liberal doses of smoking hot bedroom action! The action is fast paced but not at the expense of feeling rushed or not thought out. The characters are fully formed and all of their own little foibles! I also love the fact that the characters aren't in their twenties - nice to see some slightly older characters in a romantic suspense who have history and experience rather than "fresh out the wrapper" twenty somethings!!
Smashing read and can't wait for the others in the series!!

I am really enjoying the overlying theme of the Noble Pass Affaire novellas, and Elle's win of a week at Castle Alainn is no different - with the action, mystery, and heat that Jerrie weaves into the story.
Elle and Logan have known each other for a long time, but Ella is like the forbidden apple to Logan. She's his best friends sister. Off limits. When Logan ends up trying to keep Elle out of trouble for her brother, the heat between them is finally acknowledged and it's smoldering! I liked that once Elle and Logan finally recognized their feelings they didn't play games. The speed of their new type of relationship was believable because of the history they have, even if it is through Elle's brother. They are both loyal and honorable people, I loved the dialogue between them, and I felt like they made really good main characters in Flirting With Fate.
As they are exploring this new type of relationship, Logan also suddenly finds himself helping Elle on her mission...which is proving to be very dangerous. Can he help keep her safe and find the truth at the same time? I enjoyed the suspenseful part of Flirting With Fate, because Jerrie weaves in some very unexpected plot twists into it. I liked that she caught me off guard, and managed to give Flirting With Fate a very unique flare!
Well paced and easy to read, Flirting With Fate is a great novella to escape into that I'd recommend to romantic suspense readers.

God I love Jerrie Alexander she is a wonderful storyteller and totally had me hooked with this book. The book is part of a series called the Nobel Pass Affaire and it is wonderful. It is set in the beautiful Alainn Castle in December and you feel like your actually there . The characters are wonderful and the chemistry is hot. There is lots of mystery and intrigue in this book and it is completely different from the others in that it is the only one with a crime underlying the romance. I loved this book and would highly recommend it . Jerrie iAlexander is an autobuy for and she as usual knocked it out of the park !

"Flirting with Fate" is without a doubt a perfect fun-spy-honest uncomplicated true love-action package novella with its romantic settings, villains, and the twist and charm of the narrative. Mrs. Alexander is no stranger to cold blooded killers and suspenseful action books that will keep you awake at night in delight.
However, I was not prepared for Logan and Elle becoming a charming couples, a hero and heroine comfortable in their own skins, and that southern beauty that you only find in a southern grandmother.

Jerrie Alexander's Flirting with Fate is a great fast read. Whether you are relaxing by the pool or snuggled up by the fire . This story delivers. Fast pace with a couple whose chemistry is a slow burn till there is no resisting. Characters you will find yourself cheering for and villains you want to reach into the book and grab. Action packed that keeps things twisting and turning till the end. .

I really enjoyed reading Flirting with Fate. The storyline was fun and fast paced. It captured my attention from page 1, and the chemistry between Elle and Logan was red-hot. Once again, Jerrie delivered a masterpiece that exceeded all expectations. 5 stars in my book.

This was an outstanding read that I could not put down. it was an edge of your seat, action packed fun read. Elle is trying to prove that her grandmother was conned out of her savings and is doing whatever she can to prove it. Her brother sends his best friend Logan to keep her safe and out of trouble. The two of them have had feelings for each other for some time. I just loved everything about this story. Jerrie Alexander has done it again with another outstanding read!!

Sometimes you just need a short sexy storyline to heat you up. This one packs the heat. What also grabbed my attention was the action and intrigue that was intertwined throughout.
Elle is definitely a woman on a mission. She is determined to stop the scam artists that stole from her grandmother. What she didn't count on however was Logan.
Logan is her brother's best friend and she has had a soft spot for him for years.
Logan has wanted Eric's sister for years but with the warnings thrown his way he has kept his distance. When he goes to try bringing her home he finds himself coming to her aide.
With these two anything can happen. They have landed in more danger than they expected and it's becoming apparent the attraction between them is more than lust. This story has several twists that well.....let's just say we're unexpected and coming out of the closet has a different meaning now.

I really enjoyed this book. There was romance and suspense. What a great combination. Loved the characters. Very well written.
Definitely recommend this novella. Another great story in the Noble Pass Affair series. 5 great stories but all can be read as stand-alone.

This book is a MUST READ! I am not a huge fan of novellas but Jerrie Alexander does it right! You will fall in love with the characters and the mystery even in a smaller length book. Great Book!!!!

This is the 1st book I read by Jerrie Alexander. The 1st chapter had my attention but as I read on I lost interest. I think this story needed action, chemistry, & passion. I didn't feel any of that.

This is the perfect romantic suspense to pick up or your lunch break or when you have some time to kill. Sometimes with novellas under 100 pages, its hard to build an attraction and relationship between our main characters. You don't have to worry about that here because Elle and Logan go way back. Although Elle has been in lust/love with Logan since she was a girl, they never got together over the years because she is the little sister of Logan's best friend... and Logan has been following whatever guy code that says little sisters are off limits. But now Elle is all grown up with a penchant for getting into sticky situations and Logan, a Texas law enforcement officer, has been sent by Elle's brother to keep her out of trouble.
Elle is determined to bring down the man who swindled her grandmother out of her life savings. However Elle's lack of investigative experience has her blundering into trouble, so Logan will have his hands full (both literally and figuratively). Throwing them into such close proximity without her brother's interference, plus the adrenaline-pumping mystery and suspense, allows sparks to fly between the couple. I love these stories where the sexual tension has been building for years and years because you know the final release is going to be explosive.
Flirting with Fate is part of a multi-author collaboration, all will be producing an installment of the Noble Pass Affair. My understanding is that each novella can be read as a stand alone, but that they will all take place at the same ski lodge. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series.

Jerrie Alexander has written a great romantic suspense novella! Add in that the Hero Logan is Elle the Heroine brother's best friend and you find yourself hooked! Elle's brother has asked Logan to protect and watch over his sister who is trying to prove her Grandmother was ripped off. Elle is not easily handled, she has grit and determination and Logan finally agrees to help her. They both have had this attraction for each other growing up together. Logan is fighting it thinking it's wrong to want his best friends sister and his best friend has told him "Hands Off". This read is fun, suspenseful and sexy!

Another great Noble Pass book. Elle and Logan have grown up together. He is her brother's best friend. They end up in Castle Alainn together when her brother sends Logan after Elle when she tries to go after the man who stole their grandmother's life savings. This was a great suspenseful novella. I would hug,y recommend it to anyone.

Elle is out to catch the con man who stole from her grandmother. Before she can finish snooping around her brother’s best friend, Logan, shows up and stops her. Both shocked and pleased that her long time crush has unexpectedly shown up she is at first confused why he is there. When Elle realizes her brother sent him to stop her, she decides to turn him into a co-conspirator. They must find incriminating evidence on this con man and stop him from conning the couple who owns the resort they are staying at. But, while they are on the hunt they must also fight the long time attraction that simmers between them. Can Elle and Logan get the evidence they need and survive the passion that consumes them?
As always, this is a fantastic suspense filled romance. Though this was only a novella you really get a great sense of the characters and the story is well-rounded and well written. Elle and Logan have ignitable chemistry. The romance and suspense are woven expertly. The story keeps you on the edge of your seat. This will have you enthralled until the very end. Overall, I think this is another great story by Jerrie Alexander. For anyone, who hasn’t read her books this is an awesome example of her expert story and character building. You will want to pick up all her books after reading this one novella.

Hot enough to melt the snow on the mountains surrounding them! Elle is on a mission to try and help her grandmother after she was swindled. Not thinking it through she heads off to get justice. Her brother has been her protector since they lost their parents at an early age and sends his best friend after Elle to keep her safe. Only thing is Logan has been in love with Elle from the time they were kids. Being this close could prove to be his undoing. When they finally decide to work together sparks fly and then when Elle is in danger, Logan will stop at nothing to protect her. This had the perfect combination of heat and suspense! Loved the interaction between Logan and Elle. The secondary characters add so much including the danger element. Thoroughly enjoyed this one.

This book has one of my favorite troupes brother's sister/brother's best friend. Elle is going to find the evidence she needs, but unexpected twist Logan shows up. His task keep Elle out of trouble, but who's going to protect her from him? Sparks immediately start flaring between these two. They secretly have crushing on one another, but the whole best friend's sister deal. Danger is lurking. Can Elle get the info she needs before someone gets her? I really liked these two because of the history they have since childhood you can tell they're already great friends, but attraction is there. The action in this one just hooks me even more.
