Québécois Separatist leader.

Vallieres was active as a journalist and writer and was considered to be the intellecual leader of the Quebec Liberation Front.

Vallieres started his activism with a hunger strike at the United Nations headquarters in New York City to protest Quebec's plight.

In 1971 he denounced violence. In 1972 was jailed for three charges of counselling kidnapping for political purposes.

La thèse de l'auteur frôle le conspirationnisme. Il faut en prendre et en laisser.

This book in its original French version continues intriguing info. about the various versions of the coroner's report (at least four of them), but unfortunately, they and other documents are censored from the English translation.
