The artists listed in the book is by the era in which they hit the big time, not by the time of their deaths. (For example, Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison will be listed among the 1950s artists, and their articles will be among the first listed, despite the fact that they lived a bit longer.) Since Rock N Roll Heaven was published in 1992, you will not find Kurt Cobain or Johnny Cash or any music great that died after. But this book is most certainly a good read, and a must-have for any music book collector.
