On Uncle John's Farm
An Ontario Library Association Best Bets Selection for 2005 Canadian Children's Book Centre Our Choice, 2007 There is so much to see and do on Uncle John's Farm. Author Sally Fitz-Gibbon's beautifully written free verse is a dreamy, evocative ode to life on a farm. Artist Brian Deines fills each page with warm, impressionistic images, which practically glow with their own source of light. An inspired collaboration by two great talents who wrap words and images around like a comforting blanket. An absolute must-have for parents and grandparents of young ones who love to cuddle up for a bedtime read.
