Determined to preserve their dreams and their marriage, Ted and Hallie Bennett weather the storms of society as it sweeps from the fifties, through the turbulent sixties and seventies, to the eighties. 20,000 first printing.
I enjoyed reading this book more than the 3 stars reflects, but it fell apart somewhat at the end for me. Efforts to rebalance the main relationship felt like a forced happy ending premised on a naïveté of the two characters more than anything else.
