I LOVE to be organized. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I tend to forget things easily even if I have an alert in my phone. Don’t ask me how that happens. I have a writing friend who is one of my favorite people and we check in constantly. We both read this book quickly and decided to be accountability partners for each other.
We aren’t as devoted as these women in the book but it definitely has helped. They offered different ways to go about getting easy tasks done to harder ones. It can help you focus on household chores, sticking with a diet, and accomplishing work goals. For some it might help with mental roadblocks. This is focused heavily on finding the right accountability partner (which I have). So it made the read motivating and my goals feel achievable.
This book changed my whole approach to life. I know that sounds intense, but I'm really not exaggerating. After starting up with an accountability partner I feel more motivated, less lonely and more productive everyday. My friendship with my accountability partner is growing and my to do list is shrinking. Double bonus!
Review: I really can't recommend this book enough. In the weeks since I've read it and teamed up with a fellow author, I've been pretty productive--and I really am not reaching my full potential on this. I have a Daily Chore Checklist that I was doing okay with, but since starting this accountability thing, I've only missed one or two regular days of completing the ENTIRE THING. As well as awesome writing goals being reached. It's short and sweet, and has a bunch of ideas for how to set up one with someone you trust. Melanie and I don't do all the things from the book, but that's the beauty of it. It sets up an way for you to customize your partnership to what you and your partner need. Thought it's written for writers, the authors talk about how they've used it in many other areas, and it a great guide for anyone looking to set and reach realistic goals from day-to-day and even long term. And for $0.99, can you afford to turn it down?

Very easy and quick read. Not sure that accountability partner idea will work for everyone mainly because of not so easily accomplished goal of finding partner with similar goals. But books full of the ideas and tips that can be used in solo working on the 'to do' lists. I especially like the idea of CH3 - chore, chapter and chocolate. Each time you finish a chore (that you are not so exited to start) you reward yourself with a chapter of the book and piece of chocolate. Also tip about including fun stuff in your 'to do' list is something that everyone can benefit from. thank you for the book
Quite a good book. A very fast read, but lots of good ideas and insights into productivity based on personal experience. Really, really liked it. Looking for someone I can implement the method with, but even lacking such a person, I think I can implement aspects of it in various ways. High recommend.
