I bought this book on a whim based on a bluesky post I stumbled across and it blew me away. It captures the feeling of a top-tier Twilight Zone episode with a lurking sense of dread that keeps you reading. I sat down to check it out and when I looked up it was 200 pages later and I couldn't wait to see what happened next. Fun characters with incredibly written relationship dynamics. The passage where he describes Alicia's approach to dancing was beautifully written (and downright aspirational). I'm excited to see what the author comes up with next!
