We All Fall Down

Rate this book
I'm not invited to the family meeting that decides my fate, and when it's announced that Dad's retiring and I'll be taking over the farm, I know exactly what this A rescue mission. My brothers are tired of dragging me out of the bottom of a bottle, where I can predictably be found drowning my sorrows.

When Beckett's brought in to manage the transition, you might say it doesn't go smoothly. I can't stand that my family's hired a business consultant to babysit me. I know they fear I'll run the farm into the ground, and maybe I take my anger out on her... but I'm surprised when she gives it right back, and soon I'm looking forward to our arguments more than I should.

We were set up to be enemies from the start, and I tell myself I can't wait for her to finish out her contract and go back to Texas. But Beckett has secrets, some that followed her all the way to Minnesota, and I discover my life wasn't at all what I thought.

We All Fall Down is a midlife, enemies to lovers tale of heartbreak, disappointment, loss, and overcoming addiction. This story has a strong mental health rep, plenty of banter and a tight-knit family who put one another first.

Erin is back with an exciting new series, Colson Creek, featuring the captivating Benson brothers.

In this gripping story, Judah finds himself at rock bottom, grappling with profound loss, until he crosses paths with Beckett. Also haunted by her tragic past, Beckett steps in to help run the farm alongside Judah. Their dynamic is like fire and water—intense and unpredictable. As perplexing and eerie events unfold on the farm, Judah and Beckett unexpectedly forge a deep bond, discovering surprising similarities in their experiences.

Erin masterfully captures the weight of grief, making each character's pain resonate on every page. The depth of her writing shines through, particularly as her characters are refreshingly mature. The witty banter between the brothers is genuinely hilarious, and Beckett seamlessly fits into their world with her sharp comebacks. The underlying mystery surrounding the strange occurrences on the farm adds an intriguing layer that kept me on the edge of my seat, eager to uncover the truth. The ending is nothing short of brilliant.

I can't wait to dive into the next book, which promises to explore the enthralling stories of the other Benson brothers, each grappling with their own trials.

If you love a blend of romance, second chances, and a touch of mystery, I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It's a journey you won't want to miss!

Review:

Erin has knocked it out of the park again with this one!
It absolutely blew me away, I’m not quite sure what to say.

I instantly fell in love with all the characters and wanted them all to be happy.

Beckett and Judah were made for each other and It was clear as day that Judah was a goner the moment they first met.

The suspense, the drama, the romance - this book had everything I love!
It was the escapism I needed this past week.

I loved how the Benson family welcomed her and made her feel like a part of their family right from the start.
We all need a Donna in our lives ❤️

It was so hard to put this book down, I think I’d have read it in one sitting if I hadn’t been working!

We All Fall Down, the first book in Erin FitzGerald’s new Colson Creek series, is a fantastic mix of small-town charm, found family, and suspense, wrapped in a heartfelt midlife second-chance romance. Judah and Beckett’s story is both heartfelt AND spicy, delivering a perfect blend of deep character growth and steamy moments.

The witty banter and the obvious strong family bond between the members of the Benson family makes the found family aspect *almost* as sweet as the love story. Meanwhile, the suspense keeps the tension high and made it very difficult for me to put the book down!

Thank you to Erin for the ARC and the opportunity to read/review!

Oh. My. God. Erin what did you put in this book!? I could not stop reading. It had me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails and kicking my feet with happiness. This book has me speechless I just don’t know where to start. I didn’t think I would love any family more than her last series but this family has taken my heart. Each one is a little broken in their own ways and it breaks my heart but makes me love them all so much.

Bec and Jude were just made for each other. Both healing from some trauma in their own way. Jude didn’t want anything to do with Bec at first but I think we all knew he was a goner the second they met. Bec also had me the second we met her. She is such a sweetheart who didn’t deserve what happened to her. To see Jude get his shit together to protect Bec just made fall so hard for him. I love how protective the whole family was over Bec when she had only been there for a couple weeks. She became part of the family so fast.

Also THE PLOST TWIST?! I did not see that coming. Just when you think you know what’s happening Erin just rips the rug out from under you (in a good way I promise). If you are on the fence about starting this book just start it I promise you won’t regret it.

I loved Erin’s latest book! This is a new series that takes place in Colson Creek, Minnesota featuring the Benson brothers.
Judah Benson is trying and failing to overcome his trauma, while taking over the family ranch. Levi, the oldest Benson brother, hires Beckett to move to the ranch to help Judah.
Surprise, Beckett is a girl and Judah is not happy! Beckett brings her own trauma with her and slowly the two begin to help each other heal. As they are working together, strange things start happening around the ranch. The Benson brothers aren’t sure if it’s their neighbors causing trouble or trouble followed Beckett to the ranch! So, not only is this a romance, but a mystery too! And I did not see the plot twist coming at all.
This was such a fun, fast paced read that I couldn’t put down! I loved the banter between the Benson brothers and can’t wait to read about all of them.

First off, I just want to apologize that this review is so late. It has been one heck of a month. Second of all, this book was incredible. I’m so thankful Erin continues to keep me on her team because her books just bring on another level of emotion. Judah and Beckett have both suffered from tragedy and heartbreak from their past. Beckett is running from her past while Judah is just a grump who suffers and wants to be left alone. That all changed when Beckett goes to work for the Bensons to help their farm out financially. The slow burn in this book is immaculate. Please I beg go read this. You will not regret it 🫶🏼

I always know I’m going to love anything that Erin writes. Her characters are all deeply flawed and yet amazingly loveable.
Judah and Sydney have both been through things that no person should ever have to suffer through. Even though those aspects are horrible and sad, Erin always manages to temper those with hilarious family dynamics and just the right of romance.
You don’t have to read the wolf mountain ranchers series prior to starting this spin off series as you can enjoy it on its own but I recommend both.
Anxiously awaiting the next Benson brother’s story.
I received an ARC of this title, all opinions are my own.

Yet again Erin gets me obsessed with the small town ranch vibe 😮‍💨

We have been waiting so long for the Benson Brothers books and I’m so happy it started off with Jude! He just took my heart straight away and I just knew he’d be protective.

Though Levi 👀 is my fave sorry not sorry.

Thank you Erin for allowing me to read this beautiful book 🩷

Wow! This book was so unexpectedly wild!

So, I read Erin's Wolf Ranchers series before this, where you briefly meet Ashley's brothers... they are funny, over the top, and super protective.

Going into their first book of their series .. sh*t has hit the fan for them. I felt for each and everyone of them and I can't wait to get all of their HEA's .. because they deserve it!

This book had so much more suspense and thriller aspects to it than I expected and it will definitely keep you holding on to the edge of your seats.

My only negative? Erin! Give me more spice! I loved the little bit we got .. but I needed more!

You get:
• Contemporary Romance
• Spicy
• Small Town
• Suspense
• Found Family
• Secrets & Lies
• Stalking

I highly recommend this one! Available on KU, ebook, and paperback.

My first 5 star book of 2025!! To tell you the truth I’d give it a million stars if I could. I am at a loss for words when it comes to writing this review simply because this was SO GOOD!!! Erin does such an amazing job balancing humor and exquisite banter with heavier topics and suspense. There was not a single second I was bored while reading this book! From page one I was hooked, so much so that I devoured the whole thing in a single day. I felt incredibly invested in both Judah and Beckett, each of their backstories broke my heart and had me shedding a few tears (okay maybe a lot of tears). What started as mutual dislike bloomed into a beautiful healing relationship . I loved that Judah was protective as hell and how he could go from gruff and grouchy to tender and loving when it came to his girl. To me Beckett was the epitome of a strong woman; despite all the loss she’d experienced she didn’t let it stop her from moving forward or opening her heart up again. Plus the fact she worked just as hard as the men and could give their shit right back to them just made me love her even more.

I adored the entire Benson family, the found family vibes in this are immaculate not to mention the hilarious brotherly banter. I really need books for the rest of the brothers because I’m attached now and need to see them all get their happy endings.

This isn’t just your basic contemporary romance either; theres a strong plot that’s full of suspense and had me guessing until the very end who the “bad guy” was. I think this would be such a good read to go into blind especially if you’re a lover of both romance and thrillers! I really don’t want to give any spoilers so I’m not going to say much more even though I could go on and on about this book.

I have to give a huge shout out to the amazing author of this book, Erin Fitzgerald, thank you SO much for giving me the opportunity to read another ARC from you! It’s so obvious to me as a reader how much time and love she puts in to every single one of her characters, she’s just amazingly talented at what she does.

If you’re sensitive to or triggered by mention of grief from the loss of a parent, child, or spouse or the abuse of alcohol, please be aware before you dive in that this book contains mention of those subjects.

What an awsome start to a new series! I've binged this book in all my spare times until the very last page. And let me tell you it came too fast! I wanted to know it all but at the same time I didn't want the book to end!

Our main characters are in their midlife, have been through so much and are perfectly flawed and real.
Beckett accepts a new job offer in a farm in Minnesota. She was definitely not wat they expected when she was hired, but it really is what they needed.
Judah is grieving after losing his family, and can't seem to move on. His grief is overwelming and brutal. So when his brother hires Becket he is so not happy with that arrangement.
At first they collide (a lot), but as they start working together, Beckett starts to crumble all of Judah's walls and helps him heal himself.
While they adjust to the new dynamics at work and family (because she soon is accepted as one of their own), danger starts lurking. She is being threatned, and them as well, and a big mystery is unraveling.

When some pieces start being put together we get an gigantic twist (and I really mean an enormous one) that I really didn’t see coming and blown me by surprise. I was like gasping at the screen with my mouth open. That’s how big!

All the Benson brothers were a little rough around the edges, but with all the setting we see in this story it sums up perfectly and makes them more human and relatable.
That brotherhood, that family dynamics, even if broken by their past but mended by their love for one another was for me one of the highlighst of this story! I loved their interaction, their banter, goofiness, theirs fights and care with one another, their protectiveness and the fact that one's problems became a family problem and all wanted to help. It showed proximity and the love for one another even with their differences and attitudes and flaws. It made them real. The author clearly had a way with her words to make all that so clear we could almost feel it. I loved it. I ended up caring for all the family, and mainly all the brothers, and now I'm eager to know all their personal stories.

This a new must read series, and I'm quickly realising that all of Erin's book will all be!

This book grabbed my heart and my attention right from the first page. Beckett and Judah are characters that easily draw your empathy and make it hard not to become invested in seeing them get a happily ever after. They both have suffered great losses and pain in their lives, Judah more recently than Beckett. Though she was hired without Judah’s knowledge to manage the business affairs of his family’s farm, Beckett becomes much more than an employee. She becomes the light leading Judah out of the dark abyss of grief and survivors guilt, another sister to his brothers and an another cherished daughter to his parents. In return, Beckett finds the family she has been missing and a reason to let go of the last vestiges of her own grief and guilt. Their story is rather twisty and rawly emotional at times, but there are also some laugh out load moments too, usually provided by the antics or texts of the brothers. When it becomes clear that the acts of vandalism around the farm are aimed at Beckett and designed to resurrect spectres of her past, Judah goes into full on protector mode, as does the rest of his family. No longer focused on his grief, Judah is set on protecting the woman who has brought him back to life, claimed his heart and makes him look forward to a future with her.

The brothers’ love/hate, brothers/competitors relationship is so relatable and compelling. They really care for each other, but don’t know how to show it or say it, or how to help when they see their brother headed for trouble, though they do try. All of them struggle with relationships, love and alcohol dependency. They tend to suffer in silence, distance themselves from the family and dull the pain with alcohol. Judah has found his happily ever after with Beckett. I look forward to seeing his brothers find theirs in the upcoming books in this series.

I wholeheartedly recommend this extraordinary and compelling book.

Well didn’t this grab me page one! Yes. Yes it did. Erin is giving us book 1 in a new series and wow is it a page turner.

Grief. It’s tricky to manage. And Judah and Beckett certainly know grief. You will definitely want to travel this journey with them.

Beckett needs a fresh start and moving from Texas to Colson Creek, to take a job at the Benson family working cattle ranch, is just what she needs. Only problem? Levi Benson hired her without meeting her and thought with the name “Beckett” that she was a man. What a surprise for them all. A woman working with the Benson brothers? Especially Judah who is supposed to be taking over but is more interested in drowning himself in a bottle right now?! You can believe that he is mad as hell about it all. Well, initially, anyway.

The Benson family is a delicious mix of secrets, fierce loyalty, past hurts, but ultimately a group of brothers and a sister who love each other dearly. Their snarky banter and crazy nicknames? Oh yea. My personal favorite line? “Watch it, dickslinky.”

This is a slow burn, small town, romantic suspense. An enemies to lovers with Judah as a super grump. He is annoyed that Beckett is on his ranch. Oh and she gives his sarcasm right back to him. And when Judah finally gives in to his attraction, his feelings. . . the protective, growly man will melt your heart just as he does Beckett’s. He and Beckett truly save each other.

This story is one of dealing with unimaginable grief and guilt, while at the same time battling unforeseen danger. Can the Bensons come together to protect Beckett and solve the mysterious attacks at their farm? Oh. And did I mention how hot Judah is in protection mode? Because wow.

Can’t wait for more books about every one of the Bensons - please and thank you, Erin. This first book is a definite must read.

𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧 is the first book in the Colson Creek series by Erin FitzGerald, featuring an enemies to lovers, romantic suspense story for two broken souls in need of a mid-life second chance. In order to save him from a downward spiral into the bottle, Judah’s family hires a new business manager to work with him as he takes over the family ranch. No one expects to see a beautiful woman, when Beckett shows up! She’s supposed to help save Judah from the abyss of grief, but it turns out that she’s dealing with some demons of her own as well. While trading barbs, the ice begins to thaw around Judah’s heart. Can they find happiness together, or are they destined for more heartache? Someone out there doesn’t want them happy… Will they solve the mystery before it’s too late?

I was so happy to jump into another small town, ranch-style series by this author!! It truly is her sweet spot with expert world building, compelling characters galore, heart-wrenching emotions, and mind-blowing plot twists! I was hooked by Judah and Beckett right away with their antagonistic banter that evolved into foreplay! Their grief was palpable, relatable, and guaranteed to bring tears to your eyes, and the slow burn pace of their romance was perfect for the situation. The Benson brothers had a fascinating dynamic, and it’s clear that each man has 𝙨𝙤𝙤𝙤 many layers that I can’t wait to peel!! I also loved how their dad and Donna are such steadfast support ready to help in any way. Amazing found family vibes! And the suspense plot? Phenomenal!! I’m seriously still processing it all! It brought out some “Touch Her and ☠️” vibes!🔥🔥 I cannot wait for the next book!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Wow! I couldn’t put this book down! From the very first page, I was drawn into the world of Judah and Beckett. Judah is such a complex character. He’s broken and angry and struggling with a tragic past that left me in tears more than once. Then there’s Beckett who is nurturing, resilient, and dealing with her own devastating past. And somehow she is able to crack through the barriers Judah has built around himself. Their enemies-to-lovers dynamic is nothing short of captivating, filled with tension and uncertainty that keeps you on your toes. I didn’t see some of those plot turns coming at all, and let’s just say they kept me guessing!

Of course, a great read isn’t complete without a cast of supporting characters, and the Benson family does not disappoint! The warm and loving dynamics of Donna and Erik, the parents, are inspiring. You can feel the love in this big, close-knit family of five siblings who fiercely protect one another. I couldn’t help but laugh at the playful teasing and the priceless nicknames the brothers have for each other. But it’s their unwavering devotion to Beckett, the new honorary Benson, that truly made me a forever fan of this story.

Erin FitzGerald has done it again with her incredible storytelling. The characters are so relatable, and the plot engaging. As someone who was raised on a dairy farm, I truly appreciate the authenticity she brings to life on the farm. It’s not just picturesque fields; it’s hard work and, yes, it can be smelly too! LOL

If you’re a fan of love stories that tug at your heart while weaving in mystery and plot twists, along with themes of family and belonging, then you absolutely need to pick up the first in the Colson Creek series, We All Fall Down. Trust me, you won’t regret it. You’ll be cheering for Judah and Beckett the whole way through. Book 2, here I come!

Thank you again to Ms. FitzGerald for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

The Bensons are a close-knit family that looks out for one another. When one of their own, Judah, struggles to find his purpose in life after an unexpected personal tragedy, they rally around him the best way they know how — making life-changing decisions for him. Although the last thing Judah expected was to take over the farm unexpectedly, it just might be his saving grace.

Beckett has taken a job across the country, sight unseen. While some might think this is a drastic choice, she is doing her best to move on with a life that is nothing like she had planned for herself. When Beckett arrives at the Benson dairy farm, it is obvious she will have her work cut out for her, both with the state of the farm and her new boss, Judah, who was not expecting her arrival.

Erin Fitzgerald has started the Colson Creek series perfectly with this novel. I was quickly drawn into this new heartwarming adventure and could not put it down. Combining romance and suspense, I found myself questioning everything I was piecing together as the mysteries kept unraveling as the story progressed. Erin has found a way to beautifully meld life, maturing, grief, and humor into something special.

I loved the subtle tie-in to Erin’s previous series, Wolf Mountain Ranchers, and how these two worlds are connected. Beckett fit in perfectly with the Benson clan, dishing out witty comebacks and holding her own.

I am eagerly awaiting the next books in the Colson Creek series as we watch the remaining Benson brothers find their paths through life.

For Cassy: Yes.

I'm sorry, but what the heck did Erin put into this book? Crack.

I consumed this book like a delicious milkshake - i couldn't wait to get to the end, but I was so sad when it was over. The characters are lovable, even though broody AF. The ranch is beautifully depicted. The suspense had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
There was a moment there where I thought I knew who had done it, but I was wrong. !!!

Beckett is such a wonderful female character. I love that her shit kickers were just as dirty as everyone else's. She was strong as much as she was traumatized. He history was so unexpected & so exciting. The way she folded into the Benson family so easily was absolutely beautiful. She was what they all needed.

Judah's growth was unreal. The way that his depression mold sort of just cracked & slowly fell completely off was so inspiring. I loved his protective & possessive nature, while being extremely nurturing and gentle.

The four brothers are quite a hoot together. The relationship between Levi & Judah is probably my favorite. There was a scene about the landscaping of a woman, and i was DYING laughing. The nicknames that these brothers have for one another is truly that of a solid loving comrade.

Overall I absolutely loved this book. I am super excited to see more of the Benson brothers. These are Ashley's brothers from book #2 of Erin's "Wolf Mountain Ranch" series. I am so excited to see a bit of Ashley's family because I love her.

We All Fall Down is the first book in the Benson Family: Colson Creek series, and Erin, I knew the Benson brothers were going to be a mess—but whew, you did not disappoint me! Judah and Bec almost stole my favorite couple title from Emily and Jacob… That alone should tell you how much I loved these two.

Judah was broody, stubborn, and scorned, but also protective and gentle when it mattered. Beckett had her own struggles, but she never hesitated to put Judah in his place when he needed it. Their dynamic was everything!

One of the things I love most about Erin’s books is that her characters are older, so they’ve lived—and for Judah, that life hasn’t been easy. He’s carrying a lot of anger, survivor’s remorse, and unresolved feelings for his ex-wife. Watching him and Bec navigate their grief, loss, and conflicting emotions while trying to move forward and find happiness was amazing. Judah taking control of his drinking and pulling himself out of depression made me so happy, and seeing Bec finally have the family she’s always wanted—feeling safe and secure—was just as rewarding.

The banter between the brothers? So fun and so realistic. I needed more of their text conversations, lol. And let’s talk about Donna—I would go to war for that woman! Hopefully, like me, you’re locked in, because I need Ben, Levi, and Dan’s stories yesterday!

We All Fall Down is the first romance book in the Colson Creek series. Judah Benson has been on a downward spiral since losing his wife and kids over a year ago. He hasn’t been able to snap himself out of it u til Beckett shows up to help run his family farm. She is there to help turn everything around, including Judah it seems. Beckett may just be Excalibur what Judah needs to turn his life around as well as a save his family farm.

Every time I pick up a book by Erin Fitzgerald I know I am in for a good romance with solid characters, tortured souls and second chances at love and this book delivered. Judah’s and Beckett complimented each other perfectly and brought the best out of each other. I really enjoyed their romance as well as the mystery that was woven into this book. The mystery kept me hooked throughout the book and I was so surprised when everything finally fell together. The twists and turns kept me guessing and the way everything played out made for the perfect ending of this book. The first part of this book was a little slow, but once it picked up I couldn’t put it down. I loved meeting the Benson family and I can’t wait to see their stories play out on future books. If you are looking for a good second chance at love romance with a mystery entwined with the romance this book is for you.

It was a wonderful time as I knew it would be coming from Erin. She never fails to bring the angst and make her characters truly earn their happy ending. This one did that in such a wonderful way. It was really rewarding to see Judah slowly come out of his shell.

I absolutely adored the more thrilling aspects of this one. It was a fun twist on her style of writing I'm used to. As a thriller and romance fan, this was the perfect combination for me. I was swooning and on the edge of my seat waiting to see who was after Beckett. If you like books with a bit of a blend of genres, this one is the perfect recommendation. The twists and turns in the story got me every time.

While reading this I was fighting a pretty strong slump so I could only give my focus to it in chunks. (Admittedly it didn't help that I was reading another book with an MC named Beckett at the time) Despite that, I got way more reading done than I expected to within those chunks. It truly speaks to how well Erin's writing will suck you in. When I was in it I was fully immersed.

It was really fun that all of the Benson siblings were involved in the story. It felt like such a full circle moment which totally fits with the vibe of the family. I think we all wish we were honorary Bensons.

This book does contain open-door spice but those scenes can be skipped without missing too much plot.

𝑾𝒆 𝑨𝒍𝒍 𝑭𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏 is the first book in the Benson family Colon Creek series. Judah is the third brother in the close knit family who look out for their own. Still affected by the loss of his family he has been drinking all the feelings away and his brothers have decided it’s time to come up for air and really take over the family farm. Enter Beckett who was hired by his brother to be the Business Manager for the farm. Sight unseen when she shows up it’s a surprise that she is a female.

I always enjoy Erin books with the midlife characters. I stay for the banter and witty characters that are messy and a little broken and the second chance at love. The large family of siblings that the real life feels it brings to the story.

This is more than just a love story though. It has a great plot with suspense of who is causing all the trouble, it kept me guessing at who it would end up being. We get to see Jud and Bec grow together from dislike to lover with the shared loss they have both experienced. I loved all the Benson brothers and am looking forward to who ever is going to be next.

I swear, Erin puts something in her books to where I cannot put it down. This book had me hooked from the very beginning. This is book number 1 in the new Colson Creek series and it was a fantastic start!

Judah & Beckett were SO GOOD together. Judah was spiraling after some serious loss so his brother, Levi, hired Bec to help with the ranch. Judah & Beckett did not start off on the right foot. But once they got to know each other, you just know they were meant to be. These two both have gone through some heartbreaking crap in their lives. They were both broken but together they were able to heal and it was beautiful. I was totally rooting for them. There was a fantastic suspense element to it and I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen. This book totally took me on an emotional rollercoaster and I loved every minute of it.

I love the Benson family and I really cannot wait read the other brother's stories! They're all a little broken and they all deserve their HEA.

What to expect:
💛Midlife
💚Ranch life
💛Suspense
💚Enemies to lovers
💛Love after Loss
💚Grief
💛Second Chance at Love

Thank you so much to Erin FitzGerald for this ARC! This is my honest review.

A new series by Erin?? I’m here for it! These Benson men have me drawn allll the way in — I am absolutely ready for anything Erin throws at us! This left me speechless. I devoured this — the twist and turns had me on the edge of my seat! I ran straight to Erin‘s DM‘s and she said it best — the twists are twisting!!

Judah and Bec both have some trauma, and they have some healing to do, however, they’re able to find happiness and healing within each other. Bec is absolutely what Judah needs. The way his family meddles and found him a ‘babysitter’ who happened to be Bec, let’s just say Judah was not a happy camper at first. But seeing his grumpy exterior soften around Bec was EVERYTHING 🥰

This one was definitely emotional. Their grief was raw and real. “𝘗𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘮𝘦. 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 … 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘵𝘦.” 😭😭 have some tissues ready. I’d love to say more, but no spoilers here!

Be ready to fall in love with each of the Benson men. Erin gives us just enough to get us hooked, but also needing more! I can’t wait for each other stories 🫶🏼

Honestly this might be Erin’s best yet, I like to think of myself as an amateur detective and I didn’t see this one’s plot twist coming!

Beckett was the strong FMC we love to see, she took no nonsense from the Benson boys and slowly started to piece them all back together, but Judah in particular due to their similar past trauma. I loved that she folded herself into the Benson Family with ease, and it was as though she should’ve been there the whole time.

Judah is a broken man and the last thing he wants or needs is an attractive woman being hired to babysit him, luckily she’s just what the doctor ordered to save him from himself! As more of Judah (and Beckett’s!) secrets are uncovered the more his broken soul makes sense!

The Benson boys have such a strong relationship and I loved the banter that passes between them, they’re always teasing one another but also looking out each other too! As expected from a bunch of broken boys!! Honestly I laughed so much when they tricked Beckett about the cheese (IYKYK)!

There were quite a few plot twists throughout and it really keeps us on our toes!! I loved every minute and couldn’t to see how it all played out! Judah and Beckett are now definitely my favourite of Erin’s couples!

Thank you to author Erin FitzGerald for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

We All Fall Down is the first book in Erin’s new series, and it certainly delivers.

The story follows Judah, who is grappling with deep loss and whose life takes an unexpected turn when he meets Beckett, who has her own painful history.

As they join forces to run a farm, a powerful and unpredictable bond begins to form between them. Their relationship is intense and magnetic, but seems to have a lot of depth as well - It definitely draws you in.

Erin’s has a way of portraying the raw emotions of grief and making the characters’ pain feel palpable throughout the book, but as always, Erin knows how to offset the heaviness with a good amount of humour and lightness.

Both Judah and Beckett have interactions which are rich and meaningful. The Benson family dynamic is also very refreshing.

Some unexpected occurrences on the farm add an intriguing layer of suspense, weaving mystery into the romance which gives the books a few twists to keep you engaged.

This book is definitely for readers who love a blend of romance, second chances, and mystery. Erin has truly outdone herself with this one!

As always, I do recommend giving this one a read.

Erin has returned with another well written, slow burn, small town romance which was suspenseful, heartbreaking, and wonderfully layered. The story is told in dual pov and follows the MCs Judah and Beckett. Grumpy MMC meets his feisty match! The fierce family loyalty, great banter, and suspenseful plot were some of my favorite things about this book. The slow burn build up created some great tension which amplified the intensity of their romance and increased the strength of their bond. These two also had a strong trauma bond, with each of them battling their own demons. Some moments were a bit heavy, so be prepared. The character development was really well done. The storyline included a touch of suspense with mysterious happenings occurring on the farm. This kept me intrigued and made the story even more interesting. If you love small town romance with a touch of suspense by authors such as Catherine Cowles and Victoria Wilder, definitely give this author a try.

Erin Fitzgerald possesses a magical gift for crafting stories that tug at your heartstrings, and this story is no exception. She masterfully balances heavy, painful moments with warmth and lightness, creating a remarkable story that resonates deeply while uplifting the spirit.

I will always be Erin’s #1 fan, because I genuinely admire how she breathes life into her characters and their journeys. It is evident that she pours countless hours into each story that she writes in order to create something extraordinary. With each story she writes, it is clear that Erin is fulfilling her true purpose.

Oh, what a delightful experience! "We All Fall Down" captured my heart from the very first chapter to the final page! Beckett and Judah are our main characters who are both carrying the weight of profound loss in their pasts. Together, they embark on a journey where Beckett gently guides Judah through his sorrow, to find healing. As a result, she weaves herself into the hearts of the Benson family members, allowing this story to also be one of a beautiful found family. The emotional rollercoaster is truly exhilarating. There is sadness, there is joy, there is suspense, and there is abundant laughter. And of course, the banter is absolutely top-notch, as always!

Please do yourself the favor and pick this book up to read when it releases on February 4th, 2025!

What an amazing book! Definitely a must read! I could go on forever about how wonderful Erin Fitzgerald is as an author and how her books are must reads!

Judah and Beckett have so much in common. Wait til you find out what exactly. Beckett is in town to help out with the transfer of the farm from Judah’s dad to him. Levi, Judah’s brother is the one to bring her on to help. Let’s just say Judah is quite grumpy in the beginning. Beckett sure does her job well though. Maybe she can get Judah happy once again. When strange things start happening, it seems Judah is bound and determined to not only find out what is going on, but protect Beckett at all costs-break ins, fires, footprints in the snow. Their chemistry starts changing also. Will this bring them closer together? What secrets are lying out there? It’s definitely mind blowing when finding out! I couldn’t believe who was behind everything. Let’s put it this way, never assume anything.

In the end, Judah and Beckett definitely have a lot to sort through and put their lives back together after all that has happened. Hopefully they don’t have to do it alone. Team Judah and Beckett all the way!

When hired to manage the business affairs of the farm Judah is set to take over once his father retires, no one knew Beckett was a female. The two clash from the start but she’s determined to finish what she started, partly because she really has nowhere else to go. As Beckett and Judah work closely together, they find they have a lot in common. Both have suffered great losses, turned to alcohol, and still hurt from the grief they’ve each gone through. When strange things start happening on the farm, the Benson family chalks it up to neighbors they aren’t exactly friends with. But it seems to go deeper than that and involves Beckett. The Benson family has already accepted Beckett as one of their own and will do anything they can to protect her.

I loved this story! Strong family dynamics, loss, grief, healing, second chances, new beginnings, and more! There are several other Benson brothers, each with troubles of their own, and I can’t wait to read the next book.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
