I love the Pineapple Friends book series, and this may be my favorite of the three books. Tut Tortoise is such an endearing and relatable character who learns how to find his voice with the help of his friends—and all for the greater good! Important lessons in here for kids, written and designed in an accessible and entertaining way. Neetal crafted a beautiful story about believing in yourself and finding ways of supporting your community. She broke down the steps of preparing a pitch in understandable terms and created a relatable main character, Tut Tortoise, to deliver the pitch. I wish I had books like this when I was younger! The colorful, vivid illustrations created by Zoe also support the text beautifully.
