Ah, LOVE. That powerful four letter word. It can make you mad, happy, depressed and ultimately; it can save you. In fact, many of us are on a lifelong quest for it. For true love. And that is what Steven Johnson does here. He finally finds true love. After heartbreak and disappointments, he finds what we’re all looking for. And it’s not what most would think, not at all. I adored this book and purposely read it slowly because I didn’t want to finish it. I think I read this at a perfect time in my life. His words & feelings resonated so much what I have been feeling for a long time now. -I don’t want to give too much away, but the writing itself is very rich. You’ll feel as if Stevie is right next to you telling you his crazy, touching stories. He was with me in my work break room, where I tried really hard to stop my chin from quivering & my eyes from crying. He was making me laugh like a weirdo while riding the bus to work from school. I even slammed the book shut at a park bench & said out loud, “What are you doing, Mr. Johnson?! WHAT.ARE.YOU.DOING?!” (You’ll know what I’m talking about when you get to the “Sharleen by Moonlight” chapter & hopefully you’ll agree with me.) It all happens for a reason though. :)

You just have to read this book! It will help mold you into the best version of yourself & when you’re there, you’ll find that true, real love we all want & need. Good read, indeed!
