The Billionaires: Romcom Billionaire Standalones

Rate this book
A bundle of three standalone billionaire Billionaire Grump, Billionaire's Dog Nanny, and Billionaire Rake. A hilarious, lighthearted binge read!

Billionaire Grump

A cactus-loving botanist, an Ancient Rome-obsessed grumpy billionaire, and a demonic Persian cat walk into an elevator... and almost don't make it out.

One humiliating rescue later, Juno has lost her chance at the perfect plant care job, and a well-timed paparazzi photo has the world—and Lucius' ecstatic grandmother—convinced that he's finally found "the one."

For a hefty sum, Juno agrees to act as Lucius' girlfriend to keep Gram happy and the billionaire groupies at bay. They both agree to keep their hands to themselves. But along come those pesky feelings...

Billionaire's Dog Nanny

Fueled with the power of rage, Lilly pulls up to Bruce Roxford's mansion with one to finally give a piece of her mind to the billionaire jerk whose bank took her childhood home.

Things get a little complicated, though, when she falls in insta-love with his adorable Chihuahua puppy. And the insane salary he's offering makes her want to shut up and take the dog nanny job she used as a ploy to get to him. Bruce's impossibly blue eyes and god-like body don't help matters, either... wait, why is she here again?

On second thought, maybe revenge can wait, after all.

Billionaire Rake

Bookworm Jane is absolutely in love with all things historical romance, which makes her job interview at the library the opportunity of her dreams.

But then it all comes (literally) crashing down, thanks to a disastrously muddy encounter with a giant sheep-like dog. The pup's rakish billionaire owner, Adrian Westfield, resolves to make it up to her when an absolutely absurd idea strikes him.

She needs money. He needs custody of his baby daughter. What better plan than to make her his fake wife?

The narrators killed it! Instead of a re-read, I did a re-listen to the boxed set audiobook of Billionaire Grump, Billionaire's Dog Nanny, and Billionaire Rake. All three were super fun and hilarious to listen to. You definitely get a different experience from reading the books to listening to these talented narrators bringing the characters to life. Fun boxset!

Billionaire Grump:
This was such a fun and cute read! Romantic Comedies are my favorite. I love when a book makes me laugh. I also like the fake relationship trope because that usually means we get more time with the couple. I found that to be true with Juno and Lucius, even if they didn’t truly become a couple right away. They spent a lot of time together getting to know each other to fool his Grandma. While it predictably turns into a real relationship, I enjoyed the journey. Fun book!

Billionaire's Dog Nanny:
This was super cute and super funny! I love puppies so that was a win for me as well. I just really enjoyed every bit of this. It's wholesome but not wholesome. You have a grumpy hero and a sweet but blunt heroine. Yeah, a weird mix but it all worked. Fun read!

Billionaire Rake:
This was a super cute story between a historical romance lover heroine seeking a librarian job to incorporate her love of historical romance into her job and daily life. And a very, rich and very, smart hero who all he wants is to have more time with his newborn and is willing to do anything to gain 50/50 custody of his daughter. He's a reformed rake, but he comes off so much more gentlemanly than rakish. These two fit so well together that you can't help but cheer them on and hope that their fake marriage will turn into more. So sweet!

The Billionaires: Romcom Billionaire Standalones
By: Misha Bell
Narrated by: Erin Mallon, Teddy Hamilton, Sebastian York, Lance Greenfield

If you are looking for hours of quirky characters and passionate romance, look no further! Misha Bell is there for you, making you laugh and love. Billionaire Grump introduces Juno who is going to a job interview and gets stuck in the elevator with Lucius. After a crazy time together, they leave hoping to never see each other again. When Lucius needs a girlfriend for his image and for his grandmother, Juno seems to be the perfect choice. What does she get out of it? Tuition! But when these two get together, there is much more than an agreement between them. What will happen when feelings get in the way? Billionaire's Dog Nanny has Lilly, ready to tell off Bruce, the grumpy, billionaire banker for foreclosing on her childhood home. Late for the appointment, she arrives, he is mad and thinks she is there for the dog nanny position. He is angry, but the chihuahua loves her. Lilly puts her anger on the back burner for this overpaid job because of the immediate love she has for the dog. Moving in? Yes, Finding Bruce attractive? Yes. Does he like her? Yes. Billionaire Rake: Adrian needs to get married to help with his custodial case for his daughter. In return, Jane will be set monetarily for life. Neither thought anything would ever come of it, when Jane seamlessly fits into his life and then asks him for something no one else has ever given her, all bets were off. Eventually. This close proximity, single dad romance is the best of all worlds.

Narrated by the talents of Erin Mallon, Teddy Hamilton, Sebastian York and Lance Greenfield, each one is a treat filled with spot on comedic timing and fun. This cast of narrators could not have been better picked, each story filled with laughter and sensuality. This will surely make your ears happy.

I loved this series of hot Billionaires so much! Funny, laugh out loud crazy antics, and wonderful characters soothed my comedy romance needs.
~Billionaire Grump~
Love this dynamic duo when they write these funny and quirky tales. Billionaire Grump was witty and had laugh out loud moments and I absolutely loved the "fake" relationship this couple embarked on.
Lucius is a billionaire who has no time to follow his "biological" needs. He is almost brought to his knees when he encounters Juno in the elevator which leads them on a trek to find a relationship that works for both their needs. But they have bit off more than they can chew when the paparazzi gets wind of them and the families want to "meet" each other. Hilarious and so full of innuendos and mixed messages that I could not stop reading this story!
~Billionaire's Dog Nanny~
Puppy Love was a hilarious, laugh out loud story with plenty of hot, smexy moments and a cute puppy called Colossus 🐾🐾
Lilly is approaching Bruce to give him a piece of her mind when suddenly he offers her a job to train his adorable puppy.
This duo struggles with their intense and immediate attraction, fighting their urges because of the employee/ employer relationship.
So many moments of laughter and innuendo but I loved Colossus’s masterpees’s 😂
Truly entertaining story!
~Billionaire Rake~
Love this couple, Jane and Adrian, because of their wit and banter and their unusual meeting and circumstances.
Oh the way things line up and proceed had me chuckling and giggling. The references to historical novels and the bodice rippers of days past were swoon worthy and sometimes very hot.
Misha Bell always creates these laugh out loud romantic comedies that entertain the reader. The antics of these characters and their pets is fun and entertaining and a pleasure to read. 💜💜

Billionaire Grump - While I have never been stuck in an elevator, and certainly not ever experienced the embarrassment Juno must have felt, her overly sunny happiness and speaking with inanimate objects (plants) is something I may know a bit about. Lucius's desire to become a non-organic "meat-sack" leads to some very entertaining moments as he struggles to find a connection to her that is nowhere near his comfort zone. His grandmother, though, takes the prize for the most shocking moment in the story.

Billionaire's Dog Nanny - It's the humour that pulls these stories together. Lilly's fierceness in defending herself and her opinions versus the staunch belief by Bruno causes tension that showcases their differences. Neither want to admit to their attraction, but the antics of one they both care for deeply draw their focus and impede their ire.

Billionaire Rake - Everyone loves a great 'cute-meet' story. Adrian and Jane's knock down-drag'en one will have you laughing. Her librarian nerdiness and his reformed rake mannerisms just mesh in a way that is perfect.

Billionaire Grump
This is my favourite yet.
Lucius and Junos story has you on the edge of your seat. Awkward grumpy billionaire is stuck in the lift with a women who is not phased by him but can teach him what a real relationship is.
Filled with fun and lusty suspense there are animals,a fabulously naughty grandma and crazy butler to boot.
This book has such a feel good factor,I loved it.

Billionaires dog nanny
A laugh a minute. I really enjoyed this book

Billionaire Rake
What more could you ask from a book, a hunky billionare, sheep like dog, period drama loving heroine and yoda. This book packs a punch on the lust front but also takes you on many twists and turns through the exploration of finding the one and the complexity of families and an evil ex,all the while making you laugh. As always Misha Bell provides a real light read which makes you turn the pages at break neck speed. I loved it.

BILLIONAIRE RAKE: This was full of corny jokes and awkward second-hand embarrassment. Adrian the hero gives voice-overs for his dog - ala Sven in Frozen, and Jane the heroine lives her life with strange internal commentary from a Victorian Era spinster bluestocking alter-ego.

What I did like was the way Jane is 100% committed to her love of HR, and how Adrian is a Polymath Renaissance Man who can do everything (except gain shared custody of his infant daughter).

The love scenes were cringy and the chemistry was insta, but the story wasn't totally terrible.

I probably won't read the rest in the boxset though.

Trio of Tales

All these 3 stories have in common is the MMCs are attractive, eccentric, wealthy, and needy. Each billionaire hires or seeks a woman to fulfill a position, unusual in its purpose and/or present a pseudo image of a relationship. All 3 FMCs are competent, compelling, clever, and attractive. The slow burn resulting from mutual, repressed attraction intensifies as the plot turns with increasing conflicts. All 3 stories provide a HEA, and each offers positive outcomes for male and female successes.

Formulated, yes, but delivers entertaining stories that showcase a better side of wealthy billionaires than the sort that dominate media.

Overall, the books were enjoyable and funny. However, I'd recommend reading them far apart, as reading them close together feels very repetitive. The storyline is clear, yet somewhat hard to believe. The characters fell in love so quickly and the overall storyline feels rushed.
