One day, he finally gets up his courage to tell Hoshino his true feelings, but she rejected him with mixed feelings. Feeling sad, Nekota goes home to find that his dad is remarrying another woman, but the catch is that Nekota has to live alone with the woman's daughter while the two parents go to Europe. The daughter of the woman, however, is Hoshino... What will happen between the two while they live together?

4/5 Nice way to kill a few hours during a slow weekend at work. I read all 4 volumes while chilling and listening to the Golden Sun video game soundtrack for a few hours.
The story could have went longer but I thought it wrapped up rather well. Pastel has a very similar concept and ran 44 Volumes that’s definitely too long. Parallel didn’t go on long enough for you to get bored with the characters or let the story get repetitive. It was satisfying and didn’t leave a whole ton of unanswered you knew where Nekota and Hoshino stood with each other and what to expect for them going forward.
Recommended for fans of the genre looking for something short and sweet.
