4/5 I’m a sucker for a good Shonen Romance manga. Well a well done harem or regular romance manga is good too. This was a reread but it’s probably been 15 years so I didn’t remember much. I remember reading this and immediately getting into “Pastel” another manga by the same mangaka(author). Except that one turned into a beast of a series at 40+ volumes, which were never completely translated either by an actual publisher or scanlator, so I never kept up on it.

Nekota and Hoshino are constantly fighting but Nekoto has a crush on Hoshino. Nekota returns home one day to find Hoshino in his home. Surprise his dad is marrying her mom. The two adults run off to Europe for a year and leave the young adults home to continue school and figure things out for themselves.

I love Kobayashi’s art. There’s some good waifu material here. The story is sweet and funny but ultimately pretty shallow. But since it’s only 4 Volumes it’s a nice short manga.

Hopefully the remaining 4 volumes are good too.

This one was never licensed for English release so I’m reading fan translated copies. Scanlations.
