This was a quick easy read. While I like the main characters Haven and Sasha, I did not like the insta-love. I also had higher expectations for the story of how Arie's parents came together. The action scenes could have used a bit more fleshing out for me, especially with how the resolution came about. But, with all that being said, this book gives a nice glimpse of who Sasha used to be and drops a few good hints for Ethereal Underground and Mark of Deceit.

I received a copy of this book for free from the authors in exchange for an honest review.

his was an interesting read. A couple has to over come the complications of social status. Kennedy and Gaitan created a wonderful Sci-Fi world. The world is made up of layers those who live closest to the top are the privileged. Those closest to the core have to fight and scrap to stay alive. I think the one thing I didn't like was it was too fast. I realize it's a love at first sight story, but I had wished they had more interactions before talk of running off together. What I liked best about this story was the world itself. I can't wait to read more of the Ethereal Underground stories.

This story about Ethereal Underground world was my first time reading this genre.
Sasha is a bounty hunter who is supposed to kidnap Haven. Sasha came from one of the lower layers who has a hard life. While Haven belongs to a very wealthy family whose father is very important in an higher layer.
A remarkable story how love will survive.
I loved the story and will be reading more of this genre in the future.

I loved this short story. It's my first foray into the Ethereal Underground, but it won't be my last. The author really describes their world in a way that you can see the dirty streets. She also weaves a magical tale of love that has me cheering for Haven & Sasha before they even realize they are meant to be together. Great job showing how true love can transcend incredible social differences.

A great and very well written descriptive read into the ethereal underground world. The world is separated into sections, the ones at the top are privileged and then the ones at the core have to fight for what they want and need. I loved how I could actually picture the dirty streets. So we have Sasha who is a bounty hunter and she grew up from the lower levels having a hard life. She was supposed to kidnap Hunter, who prospered in the upper level as a privileged kid and his father is a very important. Do you feel a love story evolving? Having to overcome their social status, will love survive? I very much enjoyed this story, mostly the feel of the world itself. Looking forward to reading more.
