First ARC review of the year!

I must admit I was not expecting to receive any arcs as I hadn’t applied for any recently so was pleasantly surprised when I received this arc in my inbox, and boy am I glad I read it.

This book was everything I love in a book and more, fantasy and spice! 🌶️🥵

This book was absolutely brilliant, I couldn’t fault it at all.
The storyline was amazing, the character rep was awesome and as for the spice….well 🥵.

Storyline - 10/10
Character rep - 10/10
Romance and connection between characters - 10/10
Spice - 100/10

Thank you again to RNA for a copy of this ARC in exchange for an honest review

I was waiting for Penny and Dante's story! In the beginning I got lost a little bit with all the health information, but I found it really interesting. It also shows how enthusiastic Penny is about her work, how seriously she takes it, and maybe a little bit too seriously. And Donte, oh boy, I don’t have anything to say besides yummy, like everything about him. And because he’s also a s3x demon it’s no surprise that he and Pen get to it right away, and their attraction for one another, whew, off the charts. They are literally insatiable and definitely match each others filthy-ness. So much spicy scenes it was a little overwhelming lol. Besides all the steamy parts I liked how their relationship progressed over time, the more in depth about the rebellion going on, and how their characters changed over the course of the book too. Overall, it was another great read in this series. Can’t wait for book 3

Horns & Flames is book 2 in the Horns trilogy

FMC: Penny
MMC: Donte

This book felt like an extension of the first book in the series, this is Penny and Donte's story

Penny is the second sister to fall for one of the dimen's.

I love that becs and Belke are also included in most of the story

It is nice to know that sometimes long distance relationships can work out in the end.

The plot continues to amaze me and he worldbuilding is outstanding it gives a lot of insight into the story.

Penny and Donte's characters has surprising developments throughout the book and they are such a cute couple.

There was a great amount of spice in this book and I loved it!

My favorite quote in the book:
"There's nothing in existence like being accepted for who I am, no matter what form it is."

I can't wait for book 3 to see how bees and Ren's story turns out.

I would recommend it if you like a romance with a side of paranormal.

Horns and Flames is a fun and sexy sequel. Chapter 31 was quite titilating. 😈

I liked the concepts and more information on the rebellion, but I struggled to connect with the main characters because they are so different from characters I typically can relate to. I am more of a Rebecca person, so connecting with Penny was hard. I would have liked to see some personality changes earlier in the book, though they happen later, which I appreciate.

I am really excited for the next book to learn more about the demon rebellion and leader. I have a pretty strong feeling book #3 will be my favorite of the trilogy.

Horns & Flames is a fun, steamy paranormal romance that leans fully into its supernatural chaos while still delivering emotional depth and character growth. From the opening chapters, the story pulls you into a world where demons, magic, and danger collide, and survival often depends on trusting the very creature you were taught to fear. The tone balances heat, humor, and high stakes tension, making it an entertaining ride from start to finish.

The chemistry between the Penny & Donte is the heart of the story, but not its only aspects. Donte brings an irresistible mix of power, dominance, and unexpected tenderness, while Penny refuses to be overshadowed, meeting him with wit, defiance, and strength. Their push and pull dynamic keeps the tension high, and the emotional vulnerability beneath the spice gives their connection real weight. Watching them learn to commit to each other while navigating supernatural threats and personal baggage adds depth beyond the physical attraction. And because this is book two of the series, you still get to feel the remnants of Becca and Belke's story, while adding in what is to come next with BJ and Ren. It makes to book, story, and world fill so full and immersive.

Beyond the romance, the story offers action, hidden agendas, and a richly imagined paranormal world filled with danger and intrigue. The pacing keeps things moving, the stakes feel real, and the balance of heat and story makes it an engaging read. And the ending was so expectedly unexpected, but stays true to both Penny & Donte's personalities. Horns & Flames delivers passion, danger, and emotional payoff in equal measure, making it a solid 4 star read for fans of spicy paranormal romance.

I loved Penny & Donte's story. I felt like we got so much more information on the dimen world and what the Elders have in-store. I loved the fated mates trope. This book has darker themes so check your triggers but for me it didn't feel all that dark. I loved the cameos from Belke & Becs it all tied together very well with book 1. I cannot wait to read BJ & Ren's story. I know he's going to be my favorite.

Dark Sexy and the Perfect Sequel

This book takes everytbing that was so incredible with Book 1 Horns and Heat and doubles down. The spice and heat levels are fantastic and the incredible characters are to die for. RN Arcadia has done an incredible job taking us thru this world she has created and plenty of spicy and sin along the way. I cant wait to see what comes next with this fantastic trilogy of fun.

"There's nothing in existence like being accepted for who I am, no matter what form it is."

I really enjoyed this second book in the trilogy. I loved getting to dive deeper into the story through a new perspective, especially with Penelope and Donte taking center stage. The timeline overlaps a bit with book one, which initially took some getting used to, but seeing events unfold from a different POV ultimately added a lot of depth to the overall story.

The first few chapters are a little rough and slower-paced, but they clearly serve a purpose—setting up Pen’s career path, personality, and motivations. Once Donte enters the picture, the story truly takes off. From there, it’s a wild and engaging ride filled with great chemistry, well-done spicy scenes, and meaningful character development for both Pen and Donte.

I also appreciated learning more about the overarching rebellion storyline. It feels like groundwork is being laid for something much bigger, and I’m excited to see how that plays out in the final book. The buildup to book three is definitely intriguing, and while I know we’ll be going “back in time” again, I’m really hoping there’s another satisfying HEA waiting for us at the end of the trilogy.

This is the second book in the Horns Trilogy. I was so happy to see the next book in their series. I wanted to read Penelope’s story. I knew her story would be next!
Penelope is such a great FMC. I love her. I loved learning more about her and her life. She is such a “mom” to her sisters and I love that. I am the oldest and only girl of 5 children, so I envy that. Donte is amazing as well. He is so cool, calm and collected. They are total opposites and their dynamic is perfect.
Thank you, R.N. Arcadia, for this wonderful addition to this series. This story was beautiful and so full of spiciness! I cannot wait to see BJ’s story. I know it’s gonna be good because she sees a whole other side to “Dimens.”

Horns and Flames is Book 2 in the Horns Trilogy. The story of Penny and Donte is an alluring blend of spice, heat, and intricate development that is sure to leave you eager for more.Enjoy the ride while diving deeper into the dimen world, gaining more insight into the enigmatic Elders and their plans. The chemistry is palpable, and their journey together is both thrilling and heartwarming. The story may feel a bit slow-paced at first. However, once Donte enters the scene, the pace quickens, and the story transforms into a wild, engaging ride. The buildup to the third book is intriguing, and I am anxiously anticipating more of this series.
