An interesting premise and a dose of angst in this variation inspired by Jane Austen’s classic novel Pride and Prejudice by Newton Pembroke. Certain aspects strained belief but I did like it. I wish it had been longer though.
(Notes to me since I don't have my notebook) so disappointed. Very little build up and no proper development. Wanted more scenes together. The lack of them made emotions feel unfleshed and unbelievable.
I found this an enjoyable story. Towards the very end, I found it a bit crazy at both ODC's reaction towards Wickham. Wickham should be placed in debtors prison. He can still harm woman with promise would never fulfill.
A good story pretty well written other than Miss Hill becoming miss hall later in the book . I did feel the romance as I have others but its a minor quibble.
