This book made me so sad. I knew she was going to killed Malcolm. I just didn't know Heather crazy self was going to kill Ananda . See this why you can't mess around with certain marry men these women are crazy . And I knew Malcolm wanted Ananda and not Heather crazy self. I just didn't know Ananda killed Merci or maybe I forgot. Even though this book had me tears eyed in one eye at the ending of the book I enjoyed it and it defiantly was a 5 star read . Just wish it had a happy ending but you know how some story goes. Glad the kids had somewhere to go. And for some darn reason I thought Hunter was white lol.
So this 2nd book seemed rushed to me. Time was passing without smooth transitions. You would be reading about someone on a date one minute then next thing you know 2wks have passed and you're like oh, okay. I think the author tied up loose ends rather quickly without satisfying the reader. There was also more editing errors in this one. But on a good note the book was filed with action even if it was rushed. The ending is a twist which I can really appreciate. Not the usual. I have read other books by this author and have enjoyed them. I will be waiting to see what's next.
SPOILER ALERT! As I said in my review of My Boyfriend's Wife - Part 1, this author really needs an editor. This story is okay, but felt rushed. This book was just okay for me. I enjoyed the author's other books, so I thought I would enjoy this one. And am I right, did Ananda kill Merci? This book was just all over place. It really didn't make sense for Ananda to kill Merci. SMH

Now before I start I will say that I CANT TAKE THE FACT THAT I HAD TO PAY FOR SUCH A SHORT STORY LIKE WTF 🙄 Now that I got that out the way…OMG!!!!! I did not see this coming. She killed Merci, I was dumbfounded when that was revealed. Tracy smh with a friend like her, who needs the Heathers and the Lorna. If Malcolm had just left her alone none of what happened to Ananda would have happened. I hated Hunter after Ananda shared her condition. How could he call her a how when he knew the situation. Men are so stupid!!! This series is so damn good! So much drama, twist and turns. Let’s see what happens in part three because part two blew me tf away for real
The book started off okay and then the grammar errors took over and it started going all over the place. It got to be confusing when I had to figure out what the heck Mychea was trying to say. I managed to finish it but the grammar in this book was too bad, I can't even recommend this book to anyone in fear of not being able to explain what is being told in the story. Come on Mychea!
Oh Heather was no joke on any level!! Was very shocked at the ending of this book but I was also very upset with Ananda. She just kept pissing me off with her indecisive and naivety. But Tracey almost Madame jump through the book and snatch her up by her neck!!
I love to read and when I find a great author generally I stick with them.. but when I feel like I am being hustled I know longer want to read from that author... it took me bat an hour to read this whole book that's how short this book was... I feel like she could have put all this in one book instead of making it two books.. this book was rushed and it didn't shed light on a few things.. I'm spool disappointed... and to charge 3.82 for a book that was only five seconds long was bs
After reading both part 1 and 2, I just can't seem to get enough. A page turner from beginning to end. This book have left my heart with palpitations and anxiety. While book 3 awaits me, it is going to be interesting to see where the author takes the story without the main characters. Stay for my book 3 review.
I can not believe what happened in this book. I love it. I can't believe Tracey did that to Ananda. I did not see what happened at the end coming. That was sad. Great story.
Page turner, but extremely rushed. The characters as well as their lives changed drastically in a matter of 97 pages. This should have been combined with the prequel as one book, because neither one of them have enough depth to stand individually.
I personally loved the book. Read both parts in a day. I never expected a happy ending but I definitely wasnt expecting that. Great story for ever ride or die chick about who you think is friend and what you will do for a man.
I loved this book it had suspense that kept glued to the book. There sho u 's have been more background on both Heather and Merci in order to truly understand how Malcom had come to his tragic end.
This book wasn't as good as part 1, some parts seemed to be a bit rushed. I definitely wasn't expecting Ananda to get killed. I just saw there's a part 3 coming out, I guess I'll read it hopefully it works out.
